Great company to deal with and amazin quality jewelry! I was lookin for a special piece for my wife's birthday and I stumbled upon Prestige Auction Galleries. They have a wide selection of jewelry that is sure to impress. The staff was really helpful and friendly, and they made the whole process easy and stress-free. The quality of the jewelry is top-notch and the prices are reasonable. I found the perfect necklace for my wife and she absolutely loved it. I've been buyin' from Prestige Auction Galleries for years now and I gotta say, I'm always blown away by their stuff and how they treat their customers. It's so easy to make a purchase and I always score some amazing deals on fancy jewelry. They're a real honest and upfront company. I can't recommend 'em enough!

Similar story to the other complaints here...Saw ring on auction site, it came with a detailed appraisal from a GIA gemologist,...a few years later I took the ring to be reappraised for insurance and the center stone was not as described. My Jeweler said that stone was several grades below the stone described on the appraisal that came with the ring.

I called Prestige and they said that the appraisal is an estimate? Really?

I won a pair of coral, diamond, and gold earrings from Prestige Auction House. I sent the earrings back and got a credit of $*** from Arlan C at Prestige Auctions on Sept 2, 2021. They said it would show in my account, but it doesn't. I have breast cancer and it's not going well. I tried contacting Prestige many times, but they keep saying there's no credit in my account. That's not true, they owe me $***. I would take a credit if I have to, but I really want a check. What they're doing is stealing and it's not right. Please help me.

I bought lots of jewelry pieces from Prestige Auctions. When I got some of my purchases and took them to two different jewelers for appraisals, it turned out that the jewelry's value was way lower than the "Appraised" value I was given before buying from Prestige. The gems were filled with glass filler, and most of it wasn't even mentioned. Prestige Auction willingly sold jewelry that they knew wasn't the same as what was listed in the Appraisals. When I asked for a refund, they first said "no". But when I mentioned that I worked for a law firm, they said I would get a refund minus a 20% restocking fee, which is totally not okay because the seller broke the contract by committing fraud and misrepresenting their products.

I jus bought a bracelet from Prestige auction galleries for $***. They gave me an appraisal sayin' it's worth $***. But when I got it checked by a real appraisal company, they said the appraisal was fake and the jewelry's only worth 'bout $***. I checked out their other auctions and future ones too, and it looks like they're usin' the same appraisal for different stuff. They're sellin' the same bracelet on different auction sites. I contacted 'em and they said all sales are final, but that's against the law. Fraud is illegal, and so is not havin' your bond info on your websites.

I won an auction on Prestige Auction Galleries and discovered later that they used the same appraisal for multiple auctions. I purchased lot *** on 8/16 and realized that the appraisal certificate was not unique but was used for other sold and new lots as well. I contacted Prestige to seek clarification because I didn't want to pay for a lot without a unique appraisal. The jewelry I bought were earrings with natural stones, which can vary in value. The appraisal became worthless, and I felt deceived because I bid on a product that couldn't be verified. If they had mentioned in the auction description or pictures that the appraisal certificate was for display only, I would have adjusted my bids accordingly. They offered to cancel the purchase but wanted to charge me a 20% restocking fee. I objected, explaining that the goods I thought I was bidding on were not as represented. In response, they threatened to dispute my non-payment on liveauctioneers.com.

In June , I signed up and got the green light to bid on a fancy sapphire and diamond ring with a one-of-a-kind appraisal certificate on Prestige Auctions' website. I went ahead and placed my highest bid, eagerly waiting for the auction to wrap up. But then, I stumbled upon something fishy. I decided to take a peek at some of Prestige's other auctions, only to discover that they were offering the exact same ring with the exact same certificate. And get this, it wasn't just one auction, but a bunch of them! They were shamelessly listing the same item over and over again. I decided to do a little digging on the ComplaintsBoard.com site, and wouldn't you know it, I found others complaining about this too. People were griping about high-priced jewelry with supposedly unique certificates, yet there were multiple listings for the same thing. I wasted no time in shooting Prestige a message, asking them to cancel my bid. But guess what? No response. So, I tried again, explaining my reasons for wanting to cancel, but still no response from these folks. Instead, what I got was a flood of emails demanding immediate payment. No way am I shelling out $2500 to this company for an item without a legit appraisal certificate. I counted at least ten separate auctions featuring this supposedly "unique" item with a supposedly "unique" certificate. Because of Prestige Auctions' dispute over this transaction, now every auction house sees me as a deadbeat who doesn't pay up, and it's tarnished my reputation. All I'm asking is for Prestige to drop the dispute so I can get back to bidding in other auctions (just not theirs).

Refuses to refund ***$ (20% restock fee) an investment that was ***? I was able to pay at the time, covid now decimated my business, income, life. October 18 won lot *** for ***$ upon realizing the total was now ***.25 I reached out and was given the ok to make payments thru PayPal. I paid ***$ then on October 20th my husband was diagnosed with serious lung infections. He is unable to now do what business we had left, I lost both my bartender jobs in March. We have 4 kids and like everyone in California, besides this auction house ie wholesale jewelry store, am unable to pay my rent barley feed my kids while "distance learning " 3 teenagers and a 3 year old. I repeatedly reached out and sent emails informing them I was unable to pay and they the only response was that they'd keep holding the piece of jewelry. I did not ask for that. Until November i tried to hold to my word and pay them but clearly that is not a necessary expense at this time and requested a refund. At that time the owner proceeded to degrade me by lecturing me on a situation he clearly is not in. They are charging to restock an item that they already own and will again auction for a ridiculous deceiving price they claim in their appraisals. $972.65 would be a restocking fee of $***.25 which is state taxes and other fees not the item alone. I feel like this is not only ridiculous but completely unethical. 27 email reminders that my payment is overdue in 45 days. Not including attached email conversation in which i explained my situation with no resolution besides theirs. Under any other circumstances I agree with their policies but when legal contracts like rental leases can be altered and when at no fault of my own having everything including income taken away , i can not see how they can ethically keep a large amount of money for a product they have and will profit from again. Then threaten me with legal complications and lawyer fees if I proceed to file a complaint.
