Solar hot water and photovoltaic systems were bought in September . These systems come with a 5-year warranty. Unfortunately, they have not been registered with *** and the monitoring feature is not functioning properly. On February 8th, Poncho's Solar Service examined the systems in order to address the issues.

Poncho's Solar Service and *** give a ten year limited manufacturer's warranty for the Power One Central Inverters they put in. I asked for all the papers or exact warranty info for the inverters, but they say they don't got 'em.

I bought a Solar Hot water system from Poncho's Solar on Jan 17, 2017, and it came with a 5-year warranty. Unfortunately, the system stopped working, so I called them during the first week of August. I spoke to Dominic over the phone, and we both agreed that there might be a problem with the system or the sensor. He said that a technician would need to come and fix it. We scheduled the repair for Aug 25.

However, things didn't go as planned. They had an opening on Aug 6, but they didn't show up. The same thing happened on the 9th. We rescheduled for the 13th, but their truck broke down, so they couldn't make it. The following week, they didn't show up again. Aug 25 came, and once again, they didn't show up.

I called Poncho's on Aug 25 to let them know about the missed appointments, and they told me that the next available time would be on Sept 21.

My tenant keeps complaining 'bout her electricity bill bein' way too high (they got them fancy photovoltaic panels from Poncho's). Last year, I reached out to Poncho's 'bout the issue. They never bothered callin' me back or the tenant. Just last month, the tenant asked 'bout any service call, so I called up Poncho's again. They said they'd check it out, but no one showed up. I tried callin' their service guy, but his line ain't takin' no calls. I gave Poncho's another ring, but ain't nobody answerin' the phone. So, I left 'em a message sayin' I'll call ComplaintsBoard.com, but still no one bothered returnin' my call.

I've been complainin' 'bout my solar panels for like three months now. There's three panels that ain't performin' right, like way below what they should be. Finally, after some hassle, a team came out to check what's wrong. They moved them three problem panels to different spots to see if it's the microinverters or the panels themselves. But guess what? Even after movin' 'em, they still ain't workin' right. So it's clear as day that the panels are the issue and they should replace 'em under the warranty.

But lemme tell ya, I've called 'em five times in the past two months, and every time I get a different story. I talked to Cindy once. She said Poncho, the owner, gotta approve the replacement and promised to call me the next day. Well, that was three weeks ago, and I'm still waitin' for that call. The last time I managed to get through (sometimes I just get voicemail), they said Chris would contact me. But surprise, surprise, nobody ever calls me back!

I'm gettin' real frustrated with their lousy service. I just wanna get this sorted out accord'n to the warranty.

Me and my wife got this solar/electric hot water thingy from Poncho's in 2013. They said it had a 12 year warranty for parts and labor. So, on September 22, 2022, I called them up 'cause the pump for the solar part wasn't working right. But guess what? No one called me back. So, I called again on September 29, and they knew about my first call and said they'd call me back when Poncho was free to set a date. Then, on October 3, I left a message 'cause I found a leak in the solar part too. Still no call back. I called again on October 6, and they said they were "adjusting their schedule" to send someone over. They promised to give me an update. But guess what? I had to call again on October 21 'cause I still hadn't heard anything. And again on November 8, but still no call back. Then, on November 22, they told me Poncho was on Maui and would call me when he got back. So, I sent them a letter on November 28, asking for a specific date before December 29 for the repairs. But on December 9, this guy named *** said someone named *** would call and come by to fix it. But surprise, surprise, no call and no ***. So, I left another message and called again, and they said they'd call me back 'cause *** was on another call. Later that day, this person named *** from Aloha Solar left me a message. They came out, checked things out, ordered a part, and scheduled a repair for December 30, 2022. But then, on December 29, *** called to say that Poncho's wouldn't let them do the work. Poncho's said they would come out and do the repair and some general maintenance in January. But on January 4, *** called again and said that *** refused to set a definite date for the repair, and they weren't allowed to do the work under the warranty. But guess what? I still haven't heard anything from ***'s. So, on January 5, I left a message asking for a call back by January 9 if they were actually gonna do the work. But surprise, surprise, no call from ***'s.
