Penningtons Colour "snow white" seemed clear enough

Looking for blazers, thought I found one online at penningtons. Noticed an indiscrepancy..

The blazer picture was not pure white, but the colour name was "Snow white". Colours can be deceptive online, and sometimes when inventory is low, there may be only one picture shown for all colours, so I reasonably figured to go with the colour description of SNOW WHITE.

Blazer shows up a warm creamy ivory, no good for my winter (cool) colouring and silvery hair. I call customer service. Long story short... (40 minute wait in queueing, and 3 days for a supervisor to call me back.) I can get a partial refund, meaning I'm out $10 for shipping.

Doesn't matter that's its not as described, buyer beware. Shop at Amazon.ca.. not as described? Full refund. Shop where your business is appreciated.

Penningtons Exceeding Expectations: A Review of Penningtons' Exceptional Customer Service

So, let me tell you about my experience with Penningtons! I needed to purchase a gift card to get a dress for my resident's garden visit, and the lovely lady named Jackie really went above and beyond to make it happen. We met at the store, and she made a call to customer service on her phone while giving me her personal cell number so I could follow up and give her the gift card number. But that's not all! Jackie even woke up early and went to the store at 7AM to process my order! Now that's dedication.

She even offered to deliver the gift card to me so my resident could have the perfect dress for her special day. I am so grateful for Jackie's help, and I can't wait to thank her in person when I visit the Warden location. The exceptional customer service I received from Jackie at Pennington's was truly impressive. I can't wait to make my next purchase at the store, and I know I'll be in good hands with such caring and helpful employees. Thanks, Penningtons!

Penningtons Penningtons Review: Online Shopping Experience - Good or Bad?

So, guys, let me tell you about my recent shopping experience at Penningtons. I gotta say, it was both good and bad. I mean, I ordered some clothes online for the first time, but when I got them, two items were too tight, so I had to return them. That's when the confusion started. They refunded me for only one item, and it took ages to get the second one sorted. Apparently, the second item went to a different warehouse or something? I don't know, but it was a mess.

But wait! It gets better! When they finally accepted my return, they forgot to include a shipping label in my package, so I had to contact them again. And guess what? It took them a whole week to send me a new one! What are they doing there? Playing cards or something? Honestly, it was so frustrating.

And here's the cherry on top: they don't even extend your 30-day return policy if they take forever to sort things out! I mean, come on, guys, have some compassion! I was waiting half the time for you to sort out my refund, and you don't even give me a break? Not cool.

All in all, I'd say Penningtons needs to up their game, or they'll lose customers - and fast. In-person stores have been closing left and right, and if the online shop doesn't get it together, they'll be next!

Penningtons Penningtons: Stop Supporting Animal Cruelty with Fur Coats and Down Jackets

Yo, last year I hit up Penningtons with an email about how their whole fur coat game was straight up not cool. And what did they do? They went and dropped a coat with fur again this year, but this time they slapped a "Responsible" logo on it like that makes it okay. Newsflash: it don't.

I've been repping Penningtons for like, decades now, but honestly, the clothing quality is not the same as it used to be. It's no better than what you'd find at a bargain store. And why bother dropping coin on a fur coat from them when you can get a dope Columbia jacket with synthetic down for the same price?

It's such a bummer that Penningtons is still out here supporting animal cruelty when so many other folks and companies are finally getting it through their thick skulls that it's NOT cool. Like, seriously, why are you still using down and fur for fashion? There are so many alternatives. Come on Penningtons, be a LEADER, not a follower, and do the right thing. NO MORE ANIMAL CRUELTY.

Penningtons Penningtons Customer Service Fails to Deliver: A Disappointing Experience

My experience with Penningtons has definitely left something to be desired. I placed my order on December 27th and, being an Ontario resident, I expected my package to arrive within a reasonable amount of time. However, on January 9th, I received an email claiming that they had missed me - despite having provided my full contact information. The tracker showed that my package was on its way to Edmonton, Alberta, due to an "address error". It turns out the label was somehow printed as "20" instead of "2". I thought, well human error can happen, but if somebody called to clarify, I would have corrected it. Despite the automated form fill, I had not typo-ed my own address.

The customer service representative that I spoke with was of no help whatsoever. He insisted that my package would arrive the following day until I pointed out that the tracker showed it was headed to Edmonton instead - again, nobody called me to clarify the address. Suddenly, the story changed: the representative couldn't see anything until the package was returned to the store. When I asked when I could expect delivery, he couldn't give me a clear answer because "it depends on Canada Post".

I'm frustrated and disappointed, and I expressed to the representative that I no longer had any use for the package and wanted to cancel my order. To my surprise, I was told that I couldn't cancel the order - even though it was nowhere near my possession. This lack of flexibility, especially given the rather large mistake, was incredibly frustrating.

In contrast, I've never had any issues with Reitmans. While Penningtons does offer certain items that are more difficult to find, the poor service isn't worth it in the end. Needless to say, I'll definitely be looking elsewhere for my shopping needs in the future.

Penningtons Pennington's Coupon Fail: False Advertising or Oversight?

Yo, so I recently got this sweet coupon from Pennington's in the mail. It was offering me a solid $40 off if I spent $80 or more, redeemable both online and in-store! The deal was good from May 3 - May 30,2021. I was pretty stoked and read the fine print on the back, which stated that I could be getting a $40 discount on a single purchase of $80 or more before taxes and shipping - either in any Reitmans store or online at reitmans.com. The catch was that the deal was not valid for R Essentials and items with prices ending in $0.99 and/or $0.97, and it was only good for a single use and not combinable with any other coupons - bummer.

So yesterday, I tried to cash in on that sweet deal and buy myself three nightgowns. The total purchase price was over $100 before taxes and shipping. I tried to enter the coupon code, but my heart sank when I got an error message. I decided to call up Pennington's Customer Service and talk to a representative to see what was up. Unfortunately, the same thing happened when the rep tried the order and coupon code himself. After a bit of sleuthing, he found out that the coupon did not apply to the brand of clothing I was trying to get - inVoglio.

What?! Ain't no way that was in the fine print on the coupon or anything, and I felt pretty darn duped. So, I guess it was false advertising? Regardless, it was pretty lame to not be able to use my coupon as expected.

Penningtons Penningtons Online Order Fail: No Response, No Product, No Answers

Hey there, so I gotta talk about my recent experience with Penningtons. I've had this happen before with them, and I just gotta vent about it. I placed an order on their website and waited 5 whole days - no response and no product in sight. Funny enough, I also placed an order from Globo on the same day, but that arrived a couple of days ago. So, I decided to get in touch with Penningtons and see what was going on. The reply I got was a standard email that didn't even address where my order was or when it would be sent out. That's when I decided to call – I needed some actual answers. But... they had no idea either. Seriously? How can you not know where someone's order is or when it will be shipped? It just felt like such a waste of time. As soon as I heard that, I cancelled my order. Thankfully, that was a relatively easy process. I'm fine with shopping at their stores, but ordering online just doesn't seem to work out for me. And let's not even get started on how expensive it is to shop for larger sizes. It seems like most plus-size retailers in Canada charge ridiculous fees. It's a shame, really. But hey, you live and you learn, right? I won't be making the same mistake twice.

Penningtons Penningtons Review: Poor Quality, Terrible Customer Service & Lost Orders - A Total Disappointment

Oh man, let me tell you about my experience with Penningtons. First off, let me shout out the staff at my local store in Woodbridge, they are freaking fabulous! But, unfortunately, the quality of their products has hit rock bottom while the prices keep climbing. I recently bought some cotton tops and let me tell you, they are so thin you can see through them like fine freaking porcelain! And don't even get me started on their packing jackets, they are filled with thin polyester but cost the same as a down-filled one used to. What the heck, Penningtons!?

But, I digress. The real reason I'm writing this review is to vent about an online order I made that never got to me. Like, what the actual heck?! It was shipped from London and headed to Toronto but Canada Post says they never got the freaking package. And, instead of Penningtons owning up to it and making things right, they're pointing the finger at Canada Post. Like, come on, guys! You're not willing to make it right for me and want me to wait a whole month for a refund? And then I have to go back and email them and HOPE they'll refund me the difference? Like, seriously? What if the items I wanted are no longer in stock by then?

I was desperate for my clothes and even offered to pay for the order AGAIN and wait for a refund, but they straight up refused. If I wanted my clothes now, I had to pay full freaking price for them. They clearly don't care about customer satisfaction at all! Penningtons, get your freaking act together and start prioritizing your customers over your profits. I'm so frustrated with this experience and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Penningtons Penningtons E-Gift Option: A Nightmare to Redeem

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough time with Penningtons. I mean, seriously, do NOT even bother with their e-gift option. It's like they WANT you to give up. They already got your money, so they don't even care if you can actually use it. And let me tell ya, there is NO option at The Cart to redeem an e-gift. Zero. Zilch.

Now, I ain't no tech whiz or anything, but shouldn't redeeming a dang gift somehow be easier than pulling teeth? There's all kinds of other options at checkout - gift cards, promo offers, coupons, points, credit card...but no e-gift. I spent hours searching through all the Q&A available, but still nothing. One answer I found said you can charge your gift card with the e-gift code number, but then you gotta enter the 3 digit pin on the back of the gift card. Like, what's the point of an e-gift then?

So naturally, I reached out to tech support and customer service. And guess what? No reply emails back. I even tried calling both numbers available online (***785 and ***190), but every time I got "all circuits are busy". I called every day, up to ten times a day. And when I finally did connect with a representative - TWICE - both times I got cut off when they were transferring me. They even asked if they could call me back if we got disconnected, and I said yes, but neither of 'em did.

Finally, months later, when everything was sorted out (sorta), the boots I wanted were outta stock. And I gotta ask, what was the dang point of my e-gift? I wasted so much time on all this for nothing. Just ain't worth it in my book.

Penningtons Disappointed with Penningtons: Lacking Selection, Unhelpful Staff, and False Advertising

So, I had the unfortunate experience of shopping at Penningtons recently, and let me tell you, it was not a good time. Like, at all. I used to go there all the time, and the staff were always super nice and helpful. But the last time I was there, things were a lot different.

I went to the Ottawa store looking for some t-shirts, sweatshirts, and capris. And while they did have some t-shirts that were okay, a lot of the stuff was either ugly or didn't come in my size. Seriously, like, what's up with that? And when I asked one of the salesgirls if they were having a sale, she gave me this mumbled response and then walked off before I could even ask another question. Rude much?

And it wasn't just that one girl either. Like, all the staff just seemed to be hanging out with each other and not helping anyone. Except for the girl at the dressing room, who was actually really nice and offered to find me different sizes. But that was really the only bright spot in an otherwise dismal shopping experience.

And when I finally got to the cashier, it was even worse. She barely even looked at me, and seemed more interested in forcing me to buy a stupid bag than in making a connection with me. Ugh.

But here's the real kicker: I had heard that you could order stuff online and then pick it up at the store to save on shipping costs. So, I asked about that at the register, and the woman practically bit my head off. According to her, Penningtons has never offered that service, and they only do curbside pickup if the item is already in the store. Like, what? That's some seriously false advertising!

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience at Penningtons. The selection was lacking, the staff were unhelpful, and the whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth. I really hope they can step up their game and start treating their customers with the respect they deserve. But until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, thank you very much.

Penningtons Penningtons Shipping Disaster: A Disappointing Experience for Plus-Size Shoppers

Man, what is going on with Penningtons these days? As someone who's been shopping at this place for a while now, it's really disappointing to see the decline in customer service and quality of merchandise. And let's not even get started on the crazy mark-ups we have to pay for clothing and intimates. Like, can we get a break please?

But enough about that - let's talk about this shipping disaster that I recently experienced. So, I ordered a bra on May 31st (which cost me a whopping $73.87) and was told I'd receive it by June 9th. Perfect timing, since I had an event to attend on the 10th and my old faithful bra had just given up on me.

Fast forward to June 8th, and I see on the tracking that my package had arrived in Richmond, BC. Awesome, right? Nope. The next thing I know, it's been sent all the way to freakin' Nova Scotia. Like, who does that? And when I called customer service to ask what was up, all they could say was "It's in transit, you'll receive it soon". Excuse me, what?

Long story short, it's now June 15th and my bra is apparently stuck in Quebec. Great. And while I did email them about my situation - having to attend an event with a makeshift bra that did NOT hold up, mind you - all I got was a standard response. Not even a "Sorry for the inconvenience", nada.

Look, I get it. Shipping can be tough, especially in this pandemic. But when a package that's literally supposed to travel 30 minutes down the road ends up on the other side of the country, you gotta wonder what the heck is going on. And with the lack of empathy from their customer service team, it just adds insult to injury.

So yeah, I'm pretty bummed about the whole thing. I hope Penningtons gets its act together, because this is not the kind of experience I want to have when I'm already dealing with the struggles of being a plus-sized shopper.

Penningtons Mixed Experience at Penningtons: Lack of Selection and Unhelpful Staff

Penningtons is a store that I recently visited and I have to say, I wasn't too impressed with the selection. Especially when it came to shoes and sandals, there wasn't much to choose from. However, the staff did try to help me out. One of the employees let me know that she was supposed to take her break, but she still took the time to credit my visa for a dress that I returned. After that, she left and another girl came to help me. Unfortunately, she wasn't very helpful at all. It took her a while to figure out what the first girl did regarding my refund and I just felt like I was in the way. To make matters worse, there was a third girl there, but I think she was just visiting with the second girl. Overall, it was a bit of a nightmare.

Despite the lack of selection, I did appreciate the effort that the first employee put in to help me out. It's not often that you find someone who is willing to go above and beyond like that. However, the second employee could have been a bit more helpful and efficient. I understand that mistakes happen, but it would have been nice if she had been able to figure things out a bit more quickly. As for the third employee, I'm not really sure what she was doing there. It seemed like she was just hanging out and not really contributing anything to the situation.

Overall, my experience at Penningtons was a bit of a mixed bag. While I appreciated the effort of the first employee, the lack of selection and the unhelpful second employee made it a bit of a frustrating experience. I'm not sure if I would go back to Penningtons in the future, but I wouldn't completely write them off either.

Penningtons Terrible Experience with Penningtons: Order Never Arrived, No Refund Given

So, I wanted to share my experience with Penningtons, which has been a complete disaster. I decided to order some clothes 10 months ago, but I still haven't received anything. I keep seeing the same status saying that my order is on the way, but it never arrives. It's been frustrating and annoying, to say the least.

When I tried calling Penningtons to find out what was going on, they couldn't give me a straight answer. All they kept saying was that I wouldn't be getting a refund and that I wouldn't be receiving my order. It was a complete waste of my time and money.

Honestly, I would not recommend Penningtons to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. It's a shame because I had heard good things about them before I decided to order from them.

If you are thinking about ordering from Penningtons, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Trust me; you will thank me later.

Penningtons Penningtons Review: Poor Quality Bras and Undies Don't Last More Than 6-7 Months

I gotta say, I used to be a big fan of "Secrets from your sister" for all my bra needs. Those things would last me over a year easy, and that's with a lot of wear and tear. But lately, I've been trying out Penningtons for my undergarment needs and, damn, these things are breaking down way faster than I expected. After only 6-7 months, my bras are starting to give out and my boy shorts undies are straight up ripping apart. Not cool, man.

Now, don't get me wrong, I do appreciate some things about Penningtons' operation. Their customer service is pretty decent and the delivery process is smooth. But honestly, what's the point if the merchandise itself is such poor quality? It's a bummer, cause I was really hoping to have found a new go-to for my bra and undie needs. But I can't justify spending money on things that won't even last half a year.

Look, I'm not a fashion expert or materials scientist or anything like that. Maybe I'm just being too picky or harsh, who knows. But as someone who likes to invest in quality items that will last me a while, I cannot recommend Penningtons for bras or undies. Maybe other folks have had better luck than me, but from my personal experience, it's a no from me,

TL;DR: Penningtons' customer service and delivery process are decent, but the quality of their bras and undies is subpar. Not worth the investment if you want things that will last you more than 6-7 months.

Penningtons Penningtons, Can We Get Some Style for Our Curves? A Review on Fashion Selection for Plus-Size Women

Hey, so I've been shopping at Penningtons for a loooong time and honestly, I'm kinda bummed out by the lack of style lately. Like seriously, why do all the tops and dresses have to look like shapeless sacks? I'm all about being fashionable but still rockin' my curves! Why not give us some options that are formfitting AND classy? We big girls can be sexy too, you know what I'm saying?

Penningtons Penningtons Review: Disappointed in their decision to stop carrying size 3 8D shoes. Let's talk about inclusivity

Hey, guys! So, let me tell you about my experience with Penningtons (penningtons.com). I've been a loyal customer for years and I gotta say, I've always been able to find my size 3 8D shoes both online and in store. However, when I wanted to stock up on my faves before the holiday rush, I went online and couldn't find my size. I was like, "oh no, what do I do now?" So, I went to a few stores and was totally bummed out when I was told that Penningtons stopped carrying size 3 8D. Like, seriously Penningtons? What's going on here?

To be honest, I feel like Penningtons is a bit discriminatory towards those of us who aren't small or large but stuck in the middle. I mean, we're in between 36 and 40 and we deserve to have access to the basics just like anybody else. Why take away something that we love like size 3 8D shoes?

Penningtons Underwhelming Experience: Penningtons' Lingerie Falls Short for Curvy Women

in my latest shopping experience at Penningtons. I used to shy away from this store because I always felt like their clothes were made for straight-sized bodies, not for curvy ladies like myself. But I decided to give it another try and thought maybe, just maybe, things had changed in the past 10 years. Spoiler alert, they didn't.

I went in with a specific item in mind, but as it usually happens, ended up with something completely different. I needed new underwear, and since Penningtons is known for carrying plus-sized lingerie, I figured it was worth a shot. I found a pair that looked cute and seemed like they would offer the perfect blend of comfort and support. Boy, was I wrong.

After wearing them for just a few minutes, I already noticed they were too loose. I got the size recommended by the sales associate, but it felt like I should have gone at least one size down (or two). On top of that, the fabric was so thin, I felt like it was going to rip every time I moved. It was a complete disappointment, especially when you consider the price tag. You would expect better quality for that kind of money.

Overall, my experience at Penningtons was underwhelming, to say the least. While they do offer a decent selection of plus-sized clothing, the quality just doesn't match the prices they charge. I can't say I'll be rushing back to shop there anytime soon.

Penningtons Penningtons Online Purchase Fiasco: Cancelled Orders and Price Hike on In-Stock Items

Hey guys, I just wanted to share my experience with Penningtons. I recently made an online purchase of 7 items and to my surprise, they cancelled SIX of them! I mean seriously, what the heck! I was pretty pissed off since I had already received an email confirming my purchase and everything seemed good to go.

And to top it off, when I checked the website to see if the items were still available, I noticed they were BACK in stock but at their regular price. This just didn't sit right with me - it felt like a total insult to be honest.

One specific item that really grinded my gears was a pair of boots that I snagged for a killer deal at $20.98. But lo and behold, I received an email saying they were out of stock at 9:04 AM the very next morning. And guess what? When I checked online, they were back in stock at their full price of $95! Ugh, talk about a bait and switch.

I'm definitely thinking of taking this up with consumer protection because I don't think it's fair that companies can pull this kind of shady move without any consequences. It's just bad advertising all around and definitely not the way to build a good customer base.

Overall, my experience with Penningtons left me pretty annoyed and frustrated. I'm not sure if I'll be shopping with them again anytime soon.
