So, I was buying spare parts for my vacuum cleaner from this website called PartsIPS. The idea seemed very helpful and convenient to me, as I didn't need to go out and struggle through a whole lot of traffic and parking woes to get the necessary parts from a real store.

However, I had a little issue with them the first time I made a purchase. They mistakenly sent me the wrong part, and I had to send it back. And guess what? They expected me to pay for the return shipping. I was not very happy about that, as the shipping cost was almost as much as the part itself. And to make things even worse, they didn't answer my calls when I tried to reach out to them about this issue.

I was quite angry and felt a little taken advantage of, as I felt like they did not treat me with the respect that a paying customer deserves. For me, a customer should never bear the cost of shipping if it's due to the seller's mistake.

Overall, PartsIPS is not the best shop for those who value good customer service. Yes, they might have the products you need, but if anything goes wrong, you might have to bear the brunt of their shortcomings. They are not reliable, and I would be wary of ordering from them again.

Or did they actually cancel the whole dang thing?

Naturally, I called 'em back half an hour later just to make sure. And lemme tell you, those jokers on the phone reassured me that I'd receive an email telling me my order was cancelled any second now. But guess what? I never got such an email. What I DID get - 24 hours later, mind you - was a dang "sorry, not sorry" email saying that my order couldn't be cancelled and "here's your tracking number, sucker."

And get this - when I tried emailing 'em, THEY WOULDN'T EVEN RESPOND. Can you believe that? And Visa wouldn't dispute the charge because PartsIPS says it's "at their discretion to cancel an order" - whatever that means. But let me tell ya, folks, these guys are scammers and you don't wanna waste your hard-earned money with 'em. So don't do what I did - steer clear of PartsIPS, ya hear?

I placed an order for two parts on March 23, 2022 - a Washing Machine Top Panel Cover Part# MCK67395501 for $101.19 and a Washing Machine Dispenser Cup Part# MBL62061401 for $14.42. I opted for their 3-5 day shipping with a fee of $12.99. Both parts showed as in-stock on their website at the time of purchase.

Unfortunately, my order did not arrive in its entirety. I received the Dispenser Cup a week later, but the washing machine top panel cover was still missing. I sent them an email on March 31 to let them know that I did not receive my complete order. They promptly responded via email, explaining that the part had been shipped under the same tracking number as the Dispenser Cup. However, that was not helpful since I still hadn't received the panel cover.

I then decided to call and speak with a representative, hoping to resolve the issue more quickly. I spoke with a person named Sam on March 31. Initially, Sam sounded polite, but after promising to check on the status of my missing part, he hung up without allowing me a chance to respond. After more than a lousy hour on hold, I managed to get back in touch with them. When I spoke with Sam again, he informed me that I would not receive my part until the second week of April.

I requested Sam to cancel the remaining part of the order but he acted downright dismissive, showing zero interest in helping me. I found his customer service behavior completely unprofessional, and it left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Moreover, they refused to refund the shipping fee I paid despite the inconvenience caused.

My overall impression is that this company lacks accountability and integrity. They failed to deliver as promised, and their customer service is below standard. I advise shopping elsewhere – somewhere that prioritizes customer satisfaction. I'm not impressed with PartsIPS and regret having given them my business.
