Scammed in paradise.
got caught up in the sales pitch... Too good to be true... Red flag should have went up when u can't get a login/password for 7-10 days... Long after the 3 day cancellation!
went to office to cancel the contract the very next morning... We were blown off by the staff, they wouldn't speak to us... Initialize the cancellation form and threw it back at us... They can't credit our credit card on the spot... Despite contacting the credit card company who said they can cancel the transaction immediately, just as fast as it was purchased. their contract says 10 days for refund ... For what reason !
manager Jeff D'Amota says he will work on correcting this within 48 hrs...believe it when I see it ... I have contacted BBB, and Maui consumer affairs, this company is well known to them. Also pays to have a corporate lawyer in the family! Jeff better honor his promise!

Got my money, but they weren't happy about it... Still feel it is a scam...especially the way we were treated... When we requested a refund...people check out the net...don't buy.

I'm glad that I read this. I have just put in another call to Pacific Dreams to resolve our issues. I asked for a refund years ago and was not able to get that. We have never used the service as it was of no use to us. Rates through travel agent were always better. We travel alot and prices you offered were not better nor could we go when or where we wanted to go. It's been paid off due to the fact that we didn't want to ruin our credit. Through our home town travel agent that we have had for over a decade, there are no annual or joining fee's. we have traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Puerta Vallarta, Cozumel, Montego Bay, and the Cayman Islands. Never once have we used Pacific Dreams. I am looking forward to hearing from "The Director" so that we can finally get our money back.

Mr. Scott,

Your membership club is disappointing as well as you customer service. I have emailed you directly and call you through the [protected] with regards to my membership cancellation which was purchased Feb 14, 2012, it was process and approved by your administration assistant Tania Palacios since SEPTEMBER 24, 2012. She informed me you will contact me regarding my refund within 90days after approval. Its past 90days, no calls nor reply to my email was received. I keep contacting your office through Tania, which she states she been following up with you. She states its an isolated case that you would not contact me back, but with the email sent to you above, just prove that there are more people upset how you handle your business. Be true to your words..."I am the Director of Sales at Pacific Dreams in Maui. I have made the follow offer to EVERY complaint on this site..." I don't understand why you cant resolve it via your business office and i have to escalate online my complaints.
I am counting for your attention and response as soon as possible.

I am the Director of Sales at Pacific Dreams in Maui. First of all we have NEVER changed our name and public records clearly show this. Secondly, we have the highest rating of any timeshare/travel company in Maui with the BBB and this is very easily verified. Lastly, I have made the follow offer to EVERY complaint on this site...

"If you will provide me your name, purchase date and membership number, I will be happy to make the following offer to you. If we are unable to provide you a great value for your very next trip/vacation I will see that you are refunded the money for your purchase. I stand by the product and services we offer. If you will contact me at [protected] I will see that you are serviced well or you receive a complete refund of your purchase. "

To date no ONE person has taken me up on this offer.

Glad you got your money back. I'm in the same situation and hope to get refunded as well.
