I've been tryin to get my refund from Omnisure for about a year. I got most of it but they still owe me a little over $200. When I call, they keep givin me the runaround. They tell me to call *** and when I call them, they can't find my old account info. I complained to ComplaintsBoard.com before 'bout the same thing. I dunno what else to do but file again. *** ain't used out here in California, that's how all this mess started. I paid over $600 for the *** repair insurance that ain't accepted. Now neither company got a record of me.

Me and my daughter tried to cancel my insurance policy today, and boy was it a terrible experience! I bought the policy back in March and paid it off in advance, way before the 60-month coverage was up. The contract clearly stated that I could cancel anytime, so I called to do just that. The guy on the phone asked why I wanted to cancel, and I simply said because I felt like it. He told me the policy was already paid for, so there was no need to cancel. I repeated that I wanted to cancel and get a refund. Then he asked, "What changed your mind?" I told him it was none of his business and to just cancel the policy. But he insisted on getting a better reason. We kept telling him to cancel or transfer us to someone who could. But he refused and kept asking why we wanted to cancel. We said again that it was none of his business, but he wouldn't budge. This went on for a whole hour, with us getting more and more heated. And guess what? The representative flat out refused to cancel my policy because I didn't give him a good enough reason. He said I had to send a letter to cancel and wouldn't process my request over the phone. And to make matters worse, he gave contradictory instructions on how to cancel compared to what was in my original documents. He said it could take 2-6 weeks to process any refund, if there was even one, and he wouldn't give any confirmation by email, phone, or letter to prove that the cancellation would be received or processed. We asked to speak to a supervisor over and over again, but he wouldn't transfer us. We have no idea if the cancellation will actually go through or if any of the information we were given is accurate. I feel like the rep took advantage of my age and didn't cancel the policy like I asked.
