I applied for unemployment in March. My 1st 3 checks were held. After calling the unemployment number dozens of times and receiving the message "We are experiencing a high number of calls. Please visit us at www... I finally got a wonderful woman who told me that because a representative from Unemployment did not put an end date on my unemployment from 15 years ago, it was being allowed, but held. She fixed this.

I went on to Ohio Means Jobs several months before the date required, and set up a profile. When doing this, it allowed me to upload a resume to create the profile. I thought I had completed this activity. No one told me that it needed to be uploaded and activated in a separate area. Due to this, my pay was held for weeks. I eventually spoke with a woman who told me that it was not activated on YOUR end still. I took screenshots showing it was active on my end and sent them in. I was denied pay for that entire month. I thought, my mistake, I guess and let it go.

I made sure that I completed the assessment months prior to the due date. Again, my pay was held. I appealed it through your website with screenshots. That was in July and it is now October and I still have not received my pay nor can anyone fix this.

I want you to know that I was an essential worker who worked all through COVID and paid into the system, got no extra money or help from the government, and if not for my Mother leaving me a small bit of life insurance, my mentally ill adult son, my daughter and myself would be homeless. Literally homeless, because since I couldn't make a car payment, we wouldn't have even been able to live in my car. Somebody needs to rectify this because your system is clearly failing those that are in need. If a person is not working and depending on Unemployment and you hold 19 paychecks, you are essentially creating a bigger problem than just being unemployed. People are losing their homes because your system can't see that they completed the useless tasks that you mandate.

Desired outcome: I would like to receive all of the pay that is still being held and I think I should be able to recoup the little money left to me by my Mother's passing.
