Norton Landscaping review: Yard work terrible service overcharged

March of 2022 we contacted Adam the owner and he was very much on time until we gave him half our money. He promised to be on the job working with his crew. that happened over four months maybe five times for a short period time during the work day.

The crew he sent didn't speak English which made it difficult to get anything across. His cement work was so bad we made him remove it. Lines crooked etc. All of a sudden cement became difficult to find to for an extra $2000 he was kind enough to get paving stones. These were unevenly laid so we get to play in the puddles when it rains. Not much filling laid in between the stones. He charges us extra for stones by our garbage cans but then denied it when it was time to the work so for an extra $400 we got a half [censored] job putting them in. didn't even lay them them up to our wall.

The gate was the crown jewel. We had sent him pictures of what we wanted for which he quoted $1550.00. It was to be six ft high full privacy. By the time we go it the gate was four ft high completely see thru. We complained so he took it back and one week later he installed the four ft gate. We paid him to get him out of our lives. We contacted a gate company and go the one we requested for $1000 installed. While at our home they told us the insert Adam put in was PLASTIC not even metal.

If I had a $100 bill for every time Adam was supposed to come with is crew and not show up with no notice I would have a good sum of money. I am in sales and marketing for over 50 years and a senior on a budget. What ever you do please don't hire Norton Landscaping for anything because they will find a way to over charge and under deliver every time.
