can anyone post how is it possible to get through to the nj department of unemployment services? i am seeing others on here with the same problem and was wondering if anyone has the right answer...still have money in my extension, but recently was told by the automated system when i claimed my weekly benefits that it was unable to be processed and to call...please help
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
If I have to get through I always call [protected] immediately at 7AM and usually get through pretty quickly. Later in the day, forget about it- at least 45 minutes on hold just to have someone pick up and hang up on you.
You can go down to your local One Stop Career Center and they can rectify the problem for you. I had the same issue today while trying to claim. I tried calling all day and had no luck and I am heading over to the OSCC tomorrow to get it straightened out. Once you hit a year on unemployment (benefit year is over), regardless of whether you have money left in your EUC claims, they freeze the pay. I think it's a glitch in their system that should be addressed instead of having everyone try and call or go into the local office. My friend had to do this last week and the problem was fixed in 5 minutes.
I myself have been having a problem and can't get through at any given time weekends included what the hell is going on with njui dont they realize that there are peop[le trying to claim who dont have spouse or family for help why are they making it impossible to rectify situations
