I went into Stanton optical in Modesto ca for an eye exam on July 31st. I told the salesperson that I wanted to use a credit card only if I got 0%financing for at least 6months, otherwise I would use another. He ran it and said I had 0% for a year. 2 weeks later picked up my prescription glasses and they were totally wrong. The manager set me up for an in house Dr appointment the following week. At that eye appointment I divided to get transition lenses which was $1 less than my first purchase. After that I got my credit card statement and found out I didn’t receive 0%. Tried calling the store numerous times only to be transferred to a customer service line. Same responses, they will email the store and I would be contacting. On 9/11 I finally went back to the store. I live 1/12 hours away. The manager gave me a receipt dated 9/8 for the second purchase only and said they wouldn’t be able to refund the rest till later cause the person that does the refund wasn’t in. And the eye exam wasn’t refundable. It is now 9/21. I’m still waiting for both refunds, I returned the glasses, actually never received them and I’m paying interest on my credit card. Oh, and the refund of 169.00 that I have a receipt for, still doesn’t show on my credit card statement.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund of $339.00. That’s including the eye exam. After waiting so long I think they should pay for my exam.
