Missionary Chapel And Seminary claimed that they can help me to get high school diploma. I filled quick test for 5 minutes and they asked me to pay $40 for the diploma. This looked very shady and I decided not to put in my details. So, I just closed the website. I am not 100% sure about their business but it seems to me that there is nothing good concerning this diploma. Don’t become their victim.

Well I just paid for my HS diploma. Let's see what happens next. I have a lawyer in the family so if I get scammed we got a problem, and so will MCS, and that my friends is a fact. I did research them and found nothing out of line thus far.

I believe this is a great school and for the value given you receive a lot. A degree is a degree, a diploma is a diploma. It does not matter if you earn it at a fancy school or on line with your life credits, you still earned it. this a very reliable school and I support and use them.

Missionary Chapel and Seminary provides some very helpful services. For example, they provide free books on-site for Ministry, Christian counseling, and other topics. The ones I investigated were mostly full-length books (150-450 pages) written by qualified, well-known people who are generally considered experts in their field. Their HONORARY degrees are clearly identified as being HONORARY in nature. This is not the same thing as an earned degree from a regionally accredited school. That is why it is called HONORARY. By the way, many leading regional schools also award people with honorary degrees for life experience or generous donations. According to BBC News Nov. 22, 2015, across England 117 universities awarded 957 honorary degrees in 2014 alone. In the USA, Harvard, Notre Dame, Princeton, Yale, Emory, Brigham Young, Bates, Rutgers, University of Tennessee, Brown and Berkeley, all award Honorary degrees. No one questions their legitimacy. Now no one is suggesting that MC&S belongs in the same discussion with Harvard or Yale. But the point is that honorary degrees given for life experiences, accomplishments and / or generous donations has been an accepted practice in quality schools at least as far back as the 1700. An Honorary Degree will not be accepted at a regionally accredited school as an earned degree. That doesn't mean it is worthless. It gives people a way to capture their life contributions in an organized manner (similar in some ways to a Resume). Seminaries do not have to defend their choices for honorary recipients. Some of the most giving and influential ministers are known only within their smaller circles. But that doesn't mean they aren't worthy of some recognition. Who says only wealthy politicians, actors and musicians can be honored? Finally, it needs to be recognized that quite a few legitimate Christian colleges, universities and seminaries elect not to be regionally accredited, so that they can maintain their independence and/or to maintain a clear barrier between church and state. Being unaccredited for these reasons does not necessarily say anything about an organization's legitimacy. If MC&S has misrepresented their services, they can certainly be criticized for it. But I didn't see any misrepresentation while on the site myself.

They are helping people with bible knowledge and christian life experience to get formal diplomas and then being accepted in the work market (even some states don't recognize the diplomas). There is nothing wrong in their process. If you can pass the exam, you are qualified, why not?
I haven't subscribe my self yet, but am thinking in do it. At the meantime, would like to share that I found their address, founder, and formal business registration ... looks very serious organization, only the philosophy is quite different than what we see around. See below:

here are facts. MCS does not give fake degrees.. here is an insert from their terms of services "MissionaryChapel.com does not warranty the recognition or acceptance of its services and/or offerings by any agency, public or private. It is your duty and responsibility to obtain agreements of acceptance prior to making your purchase and using any degree or certification material earned or purchased through this site. All degrees and certifications we offer are honorary, for use exclusively within your ministry, and subject to the acceptance of the recognized authority within your religious organization. Acceptance of this agreement grants you membership in our church. Dual membership is completely recognized and allowed with any other Christian church, and does not constitute conflict with MissionaryChapel.com membership. Some Canadian provinces do not accept our minister credentials as sufficient to allow the holder to officiate marriage ceremonies."
KEY WORD: HONORARY

The diplomas and degrees granted by this institution are not legitimate, and in many states, using them on job applications, for promotions, or for business purposes is illegal. Places like this are referred to as degree mills, where little to no course work is required, and many of the programs are based on "life experience". Normally, I would not direct anyone to do research via Wikipedia, but in this case, you can see for yourself what the degrees/diplomas on this site are actually worth: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diploma_mills_in_the_United_States

MCS along with St.Gregory's Vocational academy are completely legitimate. The high school diploma I earned through their program got me into an honest to goodness brick and mortar bible college and I couldn't be more pleased or excited. Their program has truly been a god send and a blessing, not only in the progression of my life but my walk with the lord.

I am currently a student with this school. I was skeptical as I have been with other churches but their educational materials are incredibly detailed and educational. I have completed my hs diploma in Australia but as I plan to live in America I figured it is going to be important to have a written GPA (which I didn't do) comparing the two while the hs diploma with this school can be quicker to get the amount of work you do in a regular secular school is actually more then what is expected as a minimum. Their theological/counselling courses are incredibly detailed and their teachings are fair and consistent with other theological type schools I have attended. I have not yet paid for any of the courses as I wish to complete all of them while I save for the fees but I have never heard of anyone not receiving what they paid for.
I do like the fact that you can learn the material and only pay when you pass. It is nice to see what your getting yourself into before you pay for a course then become overwhelmed when you see the work load. The courses are cheap because you don't have a teacher working with you which makes it hard for people who may struggle understanding concepts but I upload my work onto the internet and get others I know to correct my work for me which really helps and provides a community so necessary in a christian community.
I don't agree with everything in the counselling courses that is taught because their beliefs differ to mine but I still find their belief system consistent to the christian community.
Personally I think the 40 dollar charge after the test may be a glitch in the coding but I am not sure neither I recommend trying again and seeing if it happens.

According to www.scamadviser.com the website is safe and it's not a scam. You can find out the owner and the address of the school which these information aren't written in the website.

Missionary Chapel and Seminary (MCS) high school diplomas are only $29.95 plus 5.00 shipping and handling. I think that is well worth the price for a HS diploma. It is not too high a price to pay. It is free to take the high school test. If you pass, pay the low fee and in about a week you have a diploma. I think they are not fake although I have not tested them to see. I have researched this site and have found zero actual complaints. There is nothing bad about MCS anywhere on the net. There is nothing good either actually for that matter. No news is most often good news. The only drawback I have with MCS is that they do not have a phone number for contact, nor do they have a writable address. I find that some strange. You can email them from their site though. I have not done that yet, but will in the future. As of this date I have actually acquired two Doctorate degrees with diplomas via writing a dissertation for each. And I have acquired a masters, a bachelors, and an AA degree by writing a thesis for each. The two doctorates are of a very professional quality. I have not purchased the other degrees as yet, but I am positive they are just as professional looking and functional. I have an ordination, church charter, and letter of good standing with MCS also. My opinion is that MCS is not a fake school or ministry, however I could be wrong I guess. Sincerely, Rev Dr Bill Cousins

I as well have submitted a dissertation and received the Doctory of Divinity degree. It does not state "honorary " on the degree. Do you refer to yourself as "Rev. Dr. ", based off of your honorary Doctor of Divinty from MCS? I have been contemplating this title usage. Bishop said it's both earned and honary

So I am not quite sure how to refer to the degree in my name. Wondering your take on it. Thank you and God bless. Min. Christina Theresa.

I ordered a diploma and paid with a credit and took and passed the four classes but they never sent the transcripts and diploma. I think they just take your money and move on to the next victim. Don’t fall for it, you will not receive anything from them and they will not even email or notify you after you make payment to talk about next step. Don’t throw your money away
