I bought $5000 worth of styling chairs from Minerva Beauty, Inc. They're way too big. This company won't tell me how to send them back. I admit I should have measured, but I've never seen chairs this huge in my 22 years of being a hairdresser. Be careful if you're thinking of buying from them. I'm going to get in touch with a lawyer about this.

I bought a styling chair in white color and I know white is easy to stain but this chair gets stained even with clothes, like if someone with jeans sits in it, it leaves a stain. I called to ask about what I could do to help with this and the guy I talked to didn't care at all about what I said. I'm really disappointed with my purchase 'cause I expected better quality stuff.

Minerva Beauty I didn't get half of my order

I didn't get half of my order. I ordered and paid for 2 styling stations on Julu 1st. They were back ordered. I did get one station, but the 2nd one never came. Minerva said they have fed ex confirmation that I received 2, on different days, signed by the same person. That can't be true because my salon was closed for 7 weeks. They won't investigate because they said too much time has passed. I was never told when the 3nd station was back in stock or being shipped. Customer service is terrible.

I just bought about $7000 worth of stuff from *** and man, I should've checked the reviews first! The only thing that came in good shape were the dryer chairs. ALL of the styling chairs are wonky. It's so dumb. And one out of the three shampoo bowls was busted. I called to return it and just keep the two that were fine. The person on the phone only offered me $165 back for a bowl I spent nearly $800 on. Everything looked amazing on the website! It's better to do more digging, you know? It's such a letdown.

Minerva Beauty I bought 13 things from Minerva Beauty, Inc

I bought 13 things from Minerva Beauty, Inc., which included 10 styling chairs. Almost everything was messed up, except for one set of towels. When the chairs got here, every single one was missing a bracket to put them together, and the hydraulic fluid was leaking from the pump. Our hot towel warmer came in one piece, but the barber towels got all torn up after the first wash. I called and wanted to talk to a supervisor, but they said the supervisors weren't around. Emily *** had me send her pictures of all the messed up stuff through text message. I asked her twice to have a manager contact me, but she said no both times. This business is just awful.

I had a problem with my *** from Minerva Beauty, Inc. The sprayers don't spray straight anymore, no matter how much I've tried to fix them with brushing and using CLR and baking soda. I wanted to order replacement parts, but unfortunately, you can only buy whole new hoses. So, I bought 3 of them, but the sprayers still spray all over my clients. They act just like my old sprayers that are 10 years old. I sent them a video clearly showing the sprayers spraying in different directions, but their response was that they were working normally. Tell that to my clients who are getting sprayed! So, I wasted $97 for nothing. It's really a shame that no one stands behind their products anymore.

Minerva Beauty I should've checked here before buying from Minerva

I should've checked here before buying from Minerva. I just renovated my salon and spent nearly $10,000 on salon furniture from them. The Medusa colour processor I was excited about turned out to be unsafe, unstable, unusable, and unreturnable. Many reviews on their site support my claims. The manager, Bryan, suggested I sell it to another salon to recoup my cost. No way! Where I'm from, we don't pass on problems to others. Shame on you, Minerva. Not smart to put that in writing. Attention all salon owners, Minerva Beauty doesn't deserve your hard-earned money!

Minerva Beauty I made a big mistake by not reading these reviews!

I made a big mistake by not reading these reviews! On 11/24, I placed a $500 order with Minerva. I thought they were a good company that would provide professionals like me with great customer service! Boy, was I wrong. I got my order on December 5. My salon was supposed to move in December, but it got delayed until 1/12/2022. I didn't open my items until then and realized I ordered the wrong cart. I needed holders for a dryer, curling/flat irons, and stuff like that. So, on January 23, 2022, I emailed them to get in touch with me. They sent me an automated email and I waited for my call. But guess what? I never heard back from them. So, today, on 2/2/2022, I called them myself. They told me they won't do anything about it! Can you believe that? I asked for a supervisor, and they said he might call me. This is seriously the worst customer service ever! Don't waste your money with them!

Minerva Beauty, where do I start... Originally, I ordered a towel cabinet from them for I think 107.00. Upon Arrival the "walnut" finish that showed online cooler toned and black and cream walnut was actually very warm and light ***. When I called and asked to exchange, I was first told " You should have asked for samples to be mailed before making a choice. Ummmm... that would suggest that it would be HIGHLY VISISBLE with a link to order samples. Geeeez Minerva, I see you. Then if I still wanted to return I would have to pay for return. The return was *** at *** So, needless to say...screw that. Minerva Beauty has a very creative way of never being responsible for anything. Mostly its that if you READ all of the policies, which SO MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPLAINED don't, they state incredibly clearly that most any issue you have is not covered or can be solved if you don't report it within *** hours of receipt. The main thing to know is that ***% of any return to Minerva required you to pay for shipping back. Often, the cost of shipping these heavy items is equal to the original cost of the product. As much as I LOATHE and think this company is a bunch of crooks, each and every complaint folks have had with the ComplaintsBoard.com could have been avoided if they read the fine print. I'm not saying the complaints are not warranted, I actually believe they are. Minerva Beauty has done an excellent job marketing and covering its own liability so that vulnerable folks and excited new business owners who would "assume" that a salon company would work with you to help, are in the end taken advantage of. In conclusion, just don't shop with Minerva Beauty. Its worth the extra work to find a company who is local to avoid lots of shipping costs.

Minerva Beauty Avoid buying anything from Minerva Beauty at all costs!

Avoid buying anything from Minerva Beauty at all costs! Me and my wife bought 3 product shelves from Minerva Beauty and before we placed the order, I called customer service to find out if the shelving was pre-assembled, as the website says some assembly required. The customer service rep confirmed and assured me that these shelves were pre-assembled, all we had to do was put on the glass shelves. But when they arrived, they were not pre-assembled, which was disappointing. I had to assemble them myself.

When I took everything out of the packaging, I tried to remove the screws that were already installed in the bars. Honestly, even if they came out easily, it would have made more sense to have them in a bag. It was a waste of time trying to remove these long screws. Unfortunately, I spent about 30 minutes trying to unscrew them and could only remove a few.

I went to Home Depot and bought tools that I could work with. Unfortunately, this turned into a two-person project, so I hired my maintenance manager from where I live. We started using the new tools to remove the bolts. We managed to remove many of them, but there were still many that wouldn't come loose. We even tried putting the Allen Wrench Hex Key in the bolt and hammering them to loosen, but many of them still wouldn't budge. Finally, we had to use Channel Locks and heavy-duty Pliers. I held the bar in place while my guy turned them, and this allowed us to remove the rest. However, we ended up damaging many of the exterior portion of the bolts in the process.

Overall, it took us 4 hours to loosen the screws/bolts and finally assemble the shelves. The end product was nice, but it was the worst furniture assembly experience of my life. And this doesn't even include the initial time it took me in the beginning and going to Home Depot to buy tools.

I contacted customer service and shared my experience, asking for a refund for the cost of hiring someone and the tools, which was about a third of the cost of the shelves, not including the shipping. I didn't ask for anything for my time, inconvenience, or the damage to the shelving itself.

I got the run-around for several days, and finally, the manager *** reached out after I sent an email saying I was going to do a charge-back and share my experience with the ComplaintsBoard.com and social media platforms. I spoke with *** and explained the situation again briefly.

He said the website clearly states that assembly is required and he couldn't imagine it would take two people to do it. Seriously, I wasn't asking him to imagine, I was just explaining what happened. Everyone here seems to think it's fine and normal to spend 4 hours removing bolts because they were machined on, and they don't seem to care about the customers. I don't understand people anymore. Stay away from this place, everyone.
