Midwest Energy & Communications So, I signed up for ebb or ebbp and had autopay set up for my discount on internet services

So, I signed up for ebb or ebbp and had autopay set up for my discount on internet services. Mind you, I wasn't informed by either party that my phone company decided to take the money from my internet company for themselves. Now, I have an almost $200 internet bill. They waited two months and now they want me to pay for what they didn't catch. I paid what the bill said, so it's not my fault that I wasn't informed earlier about the issue. It could have been fixed sooner.

Midwest Energy & Communications Midwest Energy locked my propane tank sayin' I was outta propane when I still had heat in the house

Midwest Energy locked my propane tank sayin' I was outta propane when I still had heat in the house. Right after the holidays, I reached out to Midwest to get my propane refilled. When I got home from work, I saw tracks in the snow where they refilled the tank. But when I stepped inside, I realized I didn't have any heat. It seemed odd 'cause I had heat that mornin' before headin' to work. So, I did some diggin' and found out they had locked the tank, claimin' it was empty and needed to check for leaks. But that can't be right 'cause I had heat that mornin'. I removed the lock so I could have heat again. The last fill-up was in August, so if there was a leak, I woulda run outta propane way before January. I've been gettin' my tank filled after the holidays for years. Now they're threatenin' to come and take the tank with my propane unless I let 'em in my house to check for leaks. I work in healthcare and I'm workin' 6 days a week. I ain't takin' time off just 'cause they wanna snoop around my house.

Midwest Energy & Communications Billing is all wrong

Billing is all wrong. We never used this amount of electricity they say we did. Why are we using 111 kWh in 3 days? That's 37.00 kWh. No one wants to help, no matter how much we put on our prepaid account. We never last until the end of the month. They claim we used 31.00 kWh and charged us over 8 dollars, and another time we used the same amount and it was a little over 5 dollars. Like I said, we never used that much, even in the winter when we use the furnace, or last winter when we used the air conditioner and the pool filter and everything else. The lady we talked to made excuses for why it's like that, and when we asked to have someone come in and check the meter and replace the things that are wrong with the transformer behind our house, she refused to send anyone out. There's something wrong for us to be using that much kWh when we don't have lights on all day until 10-11 pm. Nothing else is on except the refrigerator and deep freezer. We just put 20 bucks in last week, 10.00 from me and my fiance, and it's supposed to last a few days past the 3rd, but now it's been 6 days and it will be the 2nd. We should have 22 days left, but it drops 3-4 days in one charge. Why?

Midwest Energy & Communications My mom lives in an inlaw suite and her furnance broke, so she got a new one that runs on propane

My mom lives in an inlaw suite and her furnance broke, so she got a new one that runs on propane. I called ahead of time to let the company know that they needed to put the propane tank in a spot that wouldn't block my septic access. But when they delivered the tank, they put it in the wrong place and now I can't get to my septic tank to pump it. I told them they needed to move it, but the technician said no. I called the propane operations manager, Billy, and he was really rude and didn't try to help me at all. I asked to speak to his boss, but he said no. So I called customer service and talked to Megan, who at least tried to help. But she said the soonest they could move the tank was almost two weeks away, which is not okay with me. The company put a huge propane tank in the way of my septic system and won't take it away when I need to pump my tank.

Midwest Energy & Communications Company is saying we owe them back charges for a year, and are triple charging us for monthly bills

Company is saying we owe them back charges for a year, and are triple charging us for monthly bills. My partner paid our bill using the company's app for our bill due on 02/11. The app had a glitch as acknowledged by their representative, which resulted in our payment not being processed. We were not contacted about the issue until the company shut off our landlord's electricity, and they contacted us because they were told the company shut off the wrong power. My partner contacted and spoke with Tammy on 02/25 and paid the bill on account *** and paid the company 165.54, including the $5 charge they added since their app failed to process our payment, which I also feel is fraudulent, as they did not contact us about the issue. This was confirmed by them as paid with confirmation of #*** by Tammy with MEC and by our bank TCU on 02/26 ref*** to DC MIDWEST ENERGY & C per our bank statement with Auth: *** as a Debit. On 03/08, we received two bills and a letter stating that the company is now saying our electric meter, which was installed by our landlord and approved prior to our moving into the house as acceptable, was incorrectly installed and that we owe them a full year of back payments equal to the sum of $696.27 with them charging us late fees of $5.00 equaling 701.27 with an additional charge of $163.88 with no explanation for this charge as it is due on 03/15 for the first bill. Then they are saying we have a second bill due for the same month, which is $165.54 from the previous bill, which they are saying we did not pay (which as indicated above I have a bank statement and MEC confirmation stating it was paid) along with an additional monthly charge of $152.55, which is supposed to be our monthly charge for service. The company is saying that after having lived in this home for over 3.5 years, now our electric meter is incorrect and they are charging us for a service we did not have installed and are not legally responsible for. They are also charging us two completely separate monthly bills at different values, along with saying that we did not pay our bill. I spoke to their after-hours rep and have informed them I am filing a complaint against their company and will be looking at all and any legal precedence that I can take regarding the matter. I find it unacceptable that they are double charging us for monthly bills, charging us additionally for bills paid, and charging us for a claim that we are not responsible for, nor have any legal regard for. If the issue is not a fraudulent claim by them, then they should have contacted the owner of this property and resolved that matter with them.
