When I first met the owner of Michael Setterstrom LLC, the first impression was really good. He seemed to hard-working and sincere. I showed him what I wanted to change and he agreed to help me. After he started the work, I understood that he has no experience with it and therefore he struggled to do this job, but has never told me about it. After that I fired him, but the job stuck and I wasted 3 months with this guy. Don’t work with them.
Great job keep it up mike! Very satisfied.
Only issue is that Mike is a frequent meth user and it's no coincidence he has NO TEETH. He can't complete any work and he is a walking disaster. I totally disagree, I had Michael work for me on several jobs, he did great job, I referred him to several of my business friends and he did a good job and on a timely manner, I believe this comment's are in a vindictive matter concerning a disturbed woman that had a habit of trying to slander man that she comes across, if you look closely that woman in the picture with Michael is his x, she was very upset Because he finally came to his senses and left her, She stole everything from him after getting him in trouble for things she set him up for, her name is actually Lisa cavallo, she took those pictures from her own face book and posted those outrageous slanderous comments., like I said I've known Michael and he is nothing like she is making him out to be.

Don't be fooled by Mike, AKA Michael Setterstrom LLC or Michaelsetterstrom Paints. He has burned so many that he has to even change his name slightly every time or might use a friend's name. The truth is Mike is not a paint or drywall professional, his issues surface 2 hours into the job, even with help, he can't meet any deadlines. Mike has no teeth, no insurance and a monkey on his back if you know what I mean. Very unstable individual, he can save you money on a day's worth of job but he will steal from you in less that 3 hours or he will be very tempted. The scary thing is that most of his tools he has stolen from various people he worked with or victimized. He can't concentrate, he is on Facebook and dating sites while he is on the job. He forgets what paints he has used on different rooms and he creates nightmares for himself and any home owner. Not to mention his domestic violence record. Nothing about him is a coincidence, there will be a parade or characters. He will be taking photos of himself crying or any number of strange things to gain your trust. He will go as far as, showing you naked photos of this girl or another girl to make you sound he is so cool. In the end, Mike gets kicked out of every place.
Same here, this guys is missing all his teeth and he is in his early 40's, drug user and thinks he can doit all but he can barely paint. He may not be the worst of the worst but he is terrible at what he does. He can't do drywall and painting he can't even do that. He has a series of domestic violence incidents and don't leave his at your house alone or he will steal and haul your valuables in his van. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
Yes Mike is exactly what you described. He has burned everyone who has hired him in Twin Cities. Mike will give you estimates that are very low and reasonable or way below any painter will charge you. He won't be able to complete any job, he will struggle and struggle. He has a criminal record, and he will only chase work on Craigslist.
