On 2/4 at 6pm, I boarded a Megabus from NYC to DC with a stop at Baltimore. I was the last person to board the bus; the bus started moving as soon as I got on before the passengers sat down (I along others were waiting to walk upstairs to find seats.) The bus stopped in Baltimore to let people out and continued to travel to DC. When I got to DC, my suitcase and another woman’s luggage never made it to DC.

We were told to leave our information and they’ll call us if it comes on the next bus. I called to file a claim the next day; it’s shy of one month since my item was lost but I have not heard of anything.

My suitcase had my laptop in it with my son’s pictures since he was a child! There is lack of accountability or follow up.

I want to file a police report but I have no idea where I should file the report! This is so frustrating. The customer service reps say “I understand” then keep regurgitating the same information with no possible solutions/options.

Where is their lost and found located?

What is their process for recovery and investigation?

What is the level of accountability to their customers who ride their buses daily?
