R and B We've been doing business with the Mckenna team for almost 10 years and always been quite happy with every angles of their services. They are friendly, yet efficient and professional. An important element for us is communication; since we are abroad most of the time, we have to rely on a professional, reliable team that will look after everything and anticipate what is needed and mainly keeps us informed…McKenna team does just that. They respond quickly and kindly, either via email, via phone or in person, always in a friendly manner. We do not have a big turnaround of tenants, so it tells us the tenants are happy first then kindly and promptly responded wherever a need arise and obviously at their satisfaction. We are dealing with other property mgmt companies in other states and countries and McKenna team is significantly above any others we are dealing with. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Great experience renting a house through McKenna. It is a rarity to find an outstanding rental management company, and McKenna is the best Ive encountered. There were a few maintenance items that came up throughout the year and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. Everyone was always very courteous and kind. I would highly recommend their properties.

Mckenna put erroneaous information on my credit report which has caused me irreparable harm. To this date they refuse to act in good faith. They claim I was evicted even though the representative named Nicole told me they wouldn't be evicting anybody during covid. We moved out any way and they filed an eviction after we were already gone and had turned in the keys! Glad to make an arrangement on the back rent, but Wow, what a shady, underhanded business.

So far so great! I love the way McKenna team is very gracious and professional on the phone and in person. They have a great tool that they actually use on how to get the best tenant candidate for our rental.. verifications and follow throughs are done. I appreciate their being transparent and timely. You don't have to wait for the following disbursement period before you get your rental money in less than a week after they receive payment. Receipts are concise and to the fact, no add ups to the cost. They keep us very well informed and they are very proactive. Thank you McKenna team!

McKenna is threatening an eviction after agreeing to accept money from Chaps which will clear balance in full. The approval has been sent and states they it will take up to 30 business days to receive funds and yet they are proceeding with sending a notice for eviction. I have been a great tenant for almost two years and because of Covid and the pandemic had to reach out for assistance in which I was approved and yet I'm still being harassed for back pay! They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate in these tough times. They are illegally breaching my protection under law AB486 as I have contacted a lawyer and will defend myself through the courts. Never rent or sign a lease from this company they don't play fair.

OMG where do I begin? I have to first start off by mentioning that this is one of the most, if not, the most professional team I know. No, I don't work for them. I've been with them for about 3 years now. I receive a statement from them every month in detail. In addition, occasionally there is a tailored informative video provided to watch informing me about the market, changes within the company, and other details that would be helpful. I receive recommendations on rental pricing, and other decisions such as animal deposits and so on. I think you get the point. You can't go wrong with this company unless you are a bad person. Somehow, I think if you were, they would still manage you! Yes, they're that good. 6 stars for sure

Jenni is a smart and proactive lady. She is a sophisticated real estate professional who has successfully built her McKenna team.

The associates I contacted are all real estate licensed. They discuss with me in a neat and professional manner, the discussion is clear and transparent.

I still remember Nicole worked very hard between my tenant and landlord since the tenant had difficulty to pay the rent. Jenni timely made many videos to explain the state new rules to landlord. It's also a tough time to McKenna team. I lost 5 months' rent finally, but we didn't go further to the tenant. We understood everyone was not easy in this pandemic time.

I've been staying with Jenni for more than ten years and still stick with her. Jenni's team is great.

We are rental property owners. We have been contacted with McKenna Property Management since 2008 and couldn't be happier with the service they provide in managing our property.. Like us, they believe in treating tenants with care and respect. They take tenant satisfaction seriously, as well as making sure our property is well cared for. Tenant longevity is a primary goal for McKenna and it benefits both us and our tenants. They have relationships with maintenance service providers who do excellent work for reasonable prices. We are always kept in the loop on issues and they have a good working relationship with our HOA as well. Jenni leads a highly motivated and exceptionally competent team. Everyone is responsive and THINGS GET DONE. No excuses and no delays. I wish more businesses were this well run. We HIGHLY recommend McKenna Property Management to both landlords and tenants alike.

Complaints consist of complete lack of customer service, the fraudulent charges on my rental deposit return, and negligent practices. Before I moved into the property managed by McKenna Property Management on 6/15, McKenna was negligent in informing me of the various broken and damaged parts of the home. Our garage door was broken to the point that it did not close all the way and needed professional repair. As a consequence of this negligence, we were burglarized that very night. Everything I owned was robbed from our home. When their resident garage door repair man came to fix the door, he confided that he and McKenna have already been aware of the broken garage door, but were refusing to buy the new parts.

Secondly, in our deposit refund issued to us on 7/29, we were charged $520 for "big touch up paint". We were not provided with any proof or documentation that this is a valid charge. We had no big touch up paint. I know because I paid for color matching paint myself and filled in holes and touched up the paint myself. The walls were spotless. I would also like to point out that touch up paint is considered normal wear and tear and that we lived in the home for two years. In the documentation they sent us, an "invoice" from the painter that included only a name of a person. No business name, no phone number or address. We also got charged $120 for kitchen and bathroom cleaning when we paid for a cleaner ourselves who came highly rated by other property management companies. This is also a janitorial company although McKenna claims it is not and did zero research. We were charged $60 to replace doorknobs, even though we left the doorknobs there in the upstairs hallways closet. We were charged $20 for doorstops and $35 for tub stoppers that were non-existent or damaged upon move-in. We were charged $100 for garage floor and driveway cleaning that was already stained upon move-in, which was written in our walk-through.
