I had a massage on September 11, at 10:00am. First, I had to call 7 times and sent a text message (which I never got a response to) to get through to the receptionist to make the appt. Upon arriving and completing paperwork, I sat in the quiet room where I noticed a cockroach on the floor across from me. Disturbing! (I took a picture)
Sherry approached me after I used the bathroom and had me follow her to the room. She then proceeded to tell me she worked on me last month. I told her I am new and have never been here before. She showed me her iPad with someone else’s info and again I had to ensure I had never been there or been treated by her. She then went over medical info and asked me “you have all these things wrong with you?” I asked what she meant. She said you had a defibrillator, pacemaker…I stopped her and said no I selected that answer because it asked about implants and I wrote a note indicating which I had. She did not seem very knowledgeable from the beginning. But I proceeded and said I would like a firm pressure massage. I derobed and she came in. I have never had a massage like this. The pressure was far from firm and she seemed to just run around the knotted areas instead of working them out. I am very disappointed. I finally got the courage to ask her to use more pressure and she literally laughed at me and said “this is supposed to be a detox move and feel good”. She never flipped me from my front side to my back side to do the rest of my body. I feel like my time and money was a complete waist and even more frustrating I feel like I was mocked. I am not sure what can be done but I look forward to hearing back from someone.
