I was referred to John from a very good friend of mine whom I trust and I decided to and my long-standing working relationship with my other mortgage broker to take a chance based on her recommendation. Just completed a rewarding, home-refinance deal with Mr. Jon Carter, the Vice President of Loan Works Inc. The deal culminated in a “much lower" 30-year fixed loan rate on my home. It began with a simple phone call, in response to an offer received in the mail, but became a great financial success story with the constant encouragement of Mr. Carter. On the first day, with just some verbal information exchanges regarding my current loan, Jon projected I would save over $200 monthly and pay-back my minimal costs in obtaining the refinancing within 20 months. He understated my costs by only $5 and nailed the payback period. Want your own “success story?" Call Jon Carter, Loan Works Inc, now, while finance rates are once again approaching the lowest in history.

Jon was very knowledgable. He made sure not to move forward until I knew exactly what was happening. Each phone call I made with him lasted over an hour because he was explaining everything to me 3-4 times. Jon made the entire process very smooth and quick. Here is a breakdown of what happened. I called Jon, we spoke for hours. I thought about it, then he called me again a few months later to tell me the market got even better. I talked to my wife and we decided to make a trip to Jon's office. There we asked more questions and then signed some disclosures. Jon took us to the beach and walked around a bit. He told me exactly what I needed to do to get the documents he required. He explained why each document is important and what purpose it serves. Then he sent me an email for me and my wife to sign. Then I got set up with a notary to sign the loan documents. Then a few days later I was approved. Did I mention that Jon did not pressure me into anything? He just kept answering my questions and explaining the entirety of the process. Jon stayed in constant communication with me, and even after the loan closed, he still continued to answer my calls and questions. Thank you Jon for everything, thanks for helping me save so much money.

My sixth and best VA loan (and fourth VA IRRRL refi, among them) over the years. I worked directly with Loan Works managing partner Jon C. I found him to be a top-tier, human-computer of a butt-kicker instead of what I'd experienced in the past, elsewhere: usually an assistant-loan-officer (a parrot who manages document collection) and later slickster millennial loan officer (who's just there to push the loan down the line with a minimum investment of his/her own effort). He was primed to explain any part of the process in elementary terms, as well as provide line-by-line calculations in response to specific and detailed challenges. Loan Works offered a range of lender and loan-product options; the top three exceeded my expectations. Among the offers was the best interest rate, just released to the market -- no "good-cop/bad-cop" games presented as some WWE-fight between the loan officer and the underwriter, as I'd experienced several times in the past. All estimated costs came in with the same total originally projected. A past experience with another company in which a $10k disallowed charge was included in the loan saw no analog in my LoanWorks experience. I'm pleased enough both to respond to the request for this review an hour after LoanWorks' closing e-mail was received, but also to reward their solid performance with recommendations to other veterans and families whom I know. Choosing a game-free lending experience was my biggest concern, and for my part, I'm completely happy I made this choice. The experience was better than I thought I could find or hope for.
