This is the woman who slandered me on this site and said I sold her a dog with hip problems and cheated her. NOW THE TRUTH CAME OUT!

Poodles’ owner cited for abuse

Katharine Rene Dokken’s ordeal isn’t over yet.
On Saturday, Fauquier Master Deputy Sheriff Lane Phillippe charged the Conde Road resident with nine counts of animal cruelty by deprivation.
The charges came just two days after Dokken agreed not to try to reclaim 34 poodles confiscated by Fauquier law enforcement authorities.
According to court documents, Phillippe filed the criminal charges based on conditions he observed at Dokken’s home April 10.
A phone call from a concerned citizen prompted the initial visit. Humane Investigator Hilleary Bogley accompanied Phillippe that day.
They discovered the dogs in “atrocious” living conditions when they executed a search warrant as part of the investigation.
Eight puppies were in the yard outside and 26 dogs were indoors. Of those, all but three were in airline carriers, Bogley said.
“Many of them weren’t able to stand. None had any food or water, and they were heavily soiled with their own feces, ” she said.
Bogley and Phillippe confiscated the canines based on the unsanitary living conditions.
Eight dogs went to the Fauquier SPCA and 26 went to the Middleburg Humane Foundation after a vet examined them.
Dokken had five days following an April 22 hearing to change her mind about trying to reclaim the poodles.
Her attorney, David Oblon, said he could not comment on the criminal charges Monday.
A hearing in General District Court is now slated for 9 a.m. May 10.
