J " L Retrum Transportation review: Worked for James Retrum owner of Company 3

I was offered a job driving a 1 ton truck and car hauler trailer picking cars up at one location and delivering them out of state to individuals, auto dealers, auctions etc. I started working for him the 2nd week of September with the promise of 40 cents a mile and was to be paid weekly. Today is October 19th and I still haven't received a check as pay to me for work done. My last trip was to Missouri, at which time I told him I needed gas money for his truck, he never sent me a dime, then he told me to leave the truck and trailer as I was ticketed for not having the correct pates on his trailer, a headlight out, a tail light broke all which he knew was wrong, and for not having a CDL which he also knew I didn't have, I asked him how I was supposed to get home, he said rent a car or take a bus, I asked him how was I supposed to do that when I had not been paid, he was going to strand me there with no vehicle, no money, no way home. My first week there I spent $500 out of my pocket to buy straps for the trailer, etc., and $300 of my moms money because he hadn't given me any money for gas, or the trip, and he still hasnt reimbursed me for that. He keeps telling me he has sent my check but when I receive envelopes from him there are no checks. Now he is telling me I owe him $200 for the 3rd week of driving and delivering cars, and he only owes me $1700 total for the 1st two weeks. I have put over 10, 000 miles on his truck delivering cars. When I got ticketed at the weigh station in Missouri he got into an argument with the policeman ticketing me. All tickets are on my record and he hasn't even offered to reimburse me or get tickets out of my name. I called my parents from Missouri and explained that I was stranded, no money, no way home and my dad sent me $230 for gas to get truck and trailer back to Ohio and my home. I arrived home Sunday October 18th in the afternoon. Now he is texting me and acting stupid about where I am, he has called the local police asking them to do welfare checks with my parents to make sure I am ok. He was called by the police and told I was at home, he has called them so many times its ridiculous and making them mad. He keeps changing his story to them and making excuses to me. I just want to get paid. He knows where his truck and trailer are at, the other driver for this company is sending me threatening messages and he is a felon. I just need to get paid as I have bills to pay of my own and my truck is ready to be reposessed because I haven't been able to make a payment. I need your help please. This man has no business operating a company, and has failed to uphold any of his promises to me about pay or anything else. The other drivers have no trouble getting paid. One message he sends me compliments me on my character and the job I do for him and the next he is threatening me, then promising he has sent my pay days ago but nothing received. Mr. Retrum lives in Wisconsin and operates his business over the phone. He got irritated with me for not staying on the phone with him and going to truck stops he wanted me to go to when I didn't have enough gas to make it there. I am very upset and I need to get paid. He owes me at least $4000 plus what I spent out of my pocket at the beginning of the trip, and $540 I spent to get to Missouri and home again. I dont understand how a company can operate in this manner.
