I placed an order for an engagement ring on October 13th with the expectation that it would be ready in 2 weeks. However, when I went to pick it up after 2 weeks, they informed me that it would take an additional week. Last week, they assured me it would be ready by Friday. Today, on November 6th, nearly a month later, I was informed that they do not have my ring and cannot resolve the issue. They offered to replace it with a different ring, which is not what I had originally ordered. This has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience, especially considering the significant amount of money I spent ($5000) and the fact that the ring was supposed to be ready by November 15th. They are refusing to provide a refund, which is unacceptable. The customer service at this store is abysmal, and it seems that many others have also had negative experiences. I not only did not receive the correct ring, but I did not receive any ring at all. I am now seeking to dispute the charge.

On May 10, I visited the store to have my battery replaced on two watches (Movado and ***). The store employee charged me $55 for the service and successfully replaced the batteries. However, after a couple of weeks, I noticed condensation inside the Movado watch, even though I had only worn it indoors. Concerned about the issue, I returned to the store and explained the situation to the employee. He asked me for a receipt, and I informed him that I only had the credit card receipt and not the paper copy. Fortunately, he recognized me and assured me that he could assist me. However, as soon as I showed him the watch and its condition, he abruptly insisted on seeing the paper receipt before offering any help. I requested to see his records, but he claimed that he did not keep any. This led to a heated argument that lasted for five minutes, and I eventually left the store. Seeking a second opinion, I consulted a different jeweler who examined my watch and revealed that the store employee had lost a screw, damaged the seal, and resorted to using tape to secure the battery, resulting in the water damage. Unfortunately, the Movado watch is now completely ruined due to the negligence during the $55 battery replacement, and the employee refuses to accept any responsibility for the damage.

On June 26, 2022, I visited an international diamond company store in ***. In addition to selling jewelry, they also offer jewelry services. I requested them to set my newly purchased one-carat diamond in a ring, and they charged me $75 for this service. On 07/02, I picked up the ring and noticed that there were numerous blemishes on the surface of the stone when I examined it in daylight. I attempted to clean them with alcohol, but it had no effect. Today, I went back to the store to speak with the manager and explain that the diamond was in perfect condition when I brought it to them. I had purchased it just two weeks ago and had kept it in the box. I informed the manager that their jeweler must have damaged the surface. However, he began arguing with me, claiming that it was not possible. I insisted that it was indeed possible and that their jeweler had made a mistake, especially considering it was a black diamond. Instead of rectifying their error by polishing the diamond at no additional cost, the manager continued to argue and even provided false information about the clarity of black diamonds. This lack of willingness to resolve the dispute amicably and the damage caused to my $3,000 diamond, purchased for my mother's 50th anniversary, has led me to write this review and advise potential customers to take their business elsewhere. The manager's behavior was that of an unscrupulous merchant who refused to take responsibility for the services provided. Now, I have to find another place to remove the blemishes from my diamond and pay extra out of my own pocket due to their jeweler's negligence. I kindly request a full refund for this service.
