Jack Liguori sold me some land in Angelica New York. He is a man of his word and he went out of his way for me. I highly recommend him to everybody I know and am confident I made a good purchase. I think that JAck is an honest man and is full of integrity. Thank you Jack

The person that praised Jack must be Jack himself. He is a scam artist and don't believe anything he is trying to sell. He sell to buyers in hope that they will stop paying after a few months/years and then he resell them again and again. It's a vicious cycle this guy is doing. Be careful dealing with him as he always have a gun with him and he will use it without hesitation.

Jack Liguori is a very well-known and much liked and respected business man.

He subdivides large tracks of wooded land into 5 acre parcels … and then makes it possible for many folks to realize their dreams of having their own ‘land in the country’.

He also builds very picturesque little Amish Crafted Log Cabins on many of these parcels.

He likes working with Amish craftsmen to build very fine little Log Cabins because they share many of the same moral values as he does.

He is completely honest and goes out of his way to be of service to everyone he does business with.

The comments made above by Mary McGregor are completely false … and unjustly malicious.

Mary McGregor and her husband are what are commonly referred to ‘deadbeats’. They entered into a written contract to purchase one of Jack’s 5 acre parcels and have a Log Cabin built on it by Jack … and then they reneged and defaulted on their promises.

They were told (in the written contract) that the Log Cabin would not be finished for several weeks, but they asked if they could camp out and wait until the Log Cabin was built.

Jack graciously let them camp out on one of his other parcels. He even loaned them the use of his personal ATV to use at no charge so they could get around more easily.

Then Mary and her husband literally packed up their tent and stole away into the night … without paying the balance of what they had promised to pay.

They never contacted Jack … they just ducked out without paying.

Jack again graciously allowed them to get off the hook for breaking their contract.

He knew that someone would be very happy with what he offered … so he simply resold that 5 acres and the completed Log Cabin to another party who is very satisfied with both the land and the Log Cabin … as well as their business and personal relationship with Jack.

Mary McGregor appears to have some psychological problems and is clearly delusional and unable to accept the fact that she broke her word … and that it is Jack who is the victim.

She apparently is unable to face the fact that she and her husband are completely in the wrong … and she needs to try to shift the blame onto Jack … because she cannot admit her own wrongdoing.

Then she appears to have an emotional need to verbally attack the very person that bent over backwards to help her and her husband.

This is not uncommon behavior in emotionally troubled people, which Mary apparently is.

Unfortunately, the internet allows low-lifes to write whatever complete fabrications as they please … and there is little or nothing than can be done to prevent them from doing so.

The only thing that can be done is for responsible people to write the TRUE story … which is what I have done here.

The Internet is loaded with scammers … but it is also loaded with responsible, honest business persons such as Jack Liguori.

He has developed and sold hundreds of country parcels as well as Log Cabins and A Frame Chalets to many very satisfied customers over the last more than 40 years.

As evidence of Jack’s honesty and fair dealings one has only to look at his several hundred positive feedbacks on eBay … all stating satisfactory … and often exemplary performance by Jack.

When you deal with that many people you are always going to get some crazies along the way.

The internet can be compared to granola … you will always find a lot of fruits and nuts.

Thank God there are some very honest and fair dealing ones like Jack Liguori.

You can rest assured you will be in safe hands when you deal with him.

Have you seen your land? Do you have electricity on it? Have you talked to the building inspector Clare Beamon or the Village of Angelica Electric Company. I was told by Elwyn Gordon who in charge there that John Ligori was told years ago not electric would be ran on this property unless the road were widened and graveled. The town of Rushford has successfully sued this man and I met the man who cut the trees through the forest and up the mountain for $10, 000 and claimed to never be paid. I paid this man 5-6, 000. got there and found the cabin was two inch fence posts, four high after a supposedly six months of building and after having been sold on a completed picture. He doesn't tell you it being a sample until after he gets your money and gets you to give him a positive feedback on E Bay before you see the property. No one in this vicinity would buy from the man so he must sell sight unseen. He talked us into camping there for 3 weeks promising a builder. The builder showed up twice and each time he said he had not been there for days because he was not paid for the days he did work. John will tell you the builder is unreliable but it is not the builder in my opinion. E-Bay does not seem to care as even after many complaints and proof here for the asking they continue to let people be taken by this scam. From experience and the money and heartache I went through from this experience I hope others will learn by my mistake and go and see what you are getting before you bid and give up your hard earned money. Go around and talk to the neighbors or the store dealers in Angelica and you will hear all the horror stories like one couple who came with kids and had to stay in a bus and the town had to feed them and help them get out of there. I guess they did not get the "money back quarantee" either. By letting people do this do others and then go on and relist the same place over and over for the last 3 years shows how little ebay cares for their customers. Thank Goodness there are many more respected internet auctions now. My advice is to look at them but do not buy any property sight unseen. It was the stupidest thing I ever did and I hope others can be spared the broken dream or pie in the sky this man sold me.
