f you've ever thought about having laser spine surgery, please research all your options very carefully and by all means stay away from Innovative Pain Solutions and Dr. Stephen Watson. Dr. Watson is an anesthesiologist and pain management physician, NOT a spine surgeon.
Dr. Watson utilizes a minimally invasive procedure called Accurascope or DND (Discectomy and Neural Decompression), pioneered by Lawrence B. Rothstein, M.D., who is also the founder of North American Spine. Dr. Rothstein has had 19 medical malpractice lawsuits brought against him with regard to this procedure, and many of his former patients have been left permanently maimed and injured. Dr. Rothstein has since claimed bankruptcy. Complications of this experimental surgery (which includes the use of a very powerful laser) include nerve damage, pain, weakness, numbness, paralysis and incontinence.
Dr. Watson states in his physician bio on his websites that he is currently working with Dr. Rothstein at the Riverview Health Institute in Dayton, Ohio, and performing the Accurascope/DND procedure. This is a complete untruth! Dr. Watson is not employed at the Riverview Health Institute and does NOT work hand in hand with Dr. Rothstein; however, Dr. Watson was supposedly trained to perform the Accurascope/DND first hand from Dr. Rothstein, the very doctor who has been sued for millions due to medical negligence.
Dr. Watson has also changed business names in the state of Ohio on an least one occasion, has licenses to practice medicine in several different states, and is NOT to be trusted. Dr. Watson also operates in Florida performing this same procedure, operating under the name of Innovative Spine Care.
You won't find very much information on Dr. Watson on the Internet, as he has no established reputation, other than being associated with Dr. Lawrence Rothstein, a pain management anesthesiologist who pioneered a minimally invasive spine surgery which has resulted in many innocent people suffering a permanent disability for life.
Please think TWICE before having laser surgery of any kind, and please keep your distance from Dr. Stephen Watson, whatever state you may reside in.

I would suggest that in the future, before you open your mouth and spew out vulgarity and accusations and make a complete fool of yourself, that you have your facts straight. Also, I would suggest you utilize a dictionary or spell check, as your entire comment is full of misspelled words and grammatical errors. It is quite apparent you are either a child or a very uneducated, immature adult.
For your information, I DID HAVE SURGERY performed by Dr. Stephen D. Watson, and I am now crippled and maimed for life as a result. I don't have to Google anything! I am living proof. The procedure Dr. Watson performs is not approved by the FDA and is completely experimental. Had I not been purposefully lied to by Dr. Watson and his totally unprofessional and incompetent staff members, I would NEVER have undergone Accurascope DND laser spine surgery and let Dr. Watson put his filthy, untrained hands on me!
One of these days, when you, your family member, or a friend has something tragic happen to them, perhaps you will understand what I and many other people have gone through, and continue to go through, as a result of Dr. Rothstein, Dr. Watson, North American Spine, and all the other laser spine mills, who are robbing innocent victims of their lives and their money!
In summary, keep your mouth shut and refrain from making comments unless you have something productive to contribute!
Dr. Watson is a very knowledlegable, compassionate and caring doctor. He performed an extensive exam, and evaluated my sons MRI's before diagnosis. He answered many questions and took the time to explain every facet of his condition and the procedure. The day of the procedure Dr Watson spoke to my husband and I in the waiting room both before and twice after the procedure. My son is now headache and pain free after suffering for more than a year due to a car accident. I am 62 years old and I have had my share of doctor visits. I can count on one hand the doctors that have shown an actual interest in their patient and Dr. Watson is one of them. I would recommend anyone who has a debilitating pain to go to Dr Watson. His staff is also the kindest and most helpful. We traveled over 60 miles and were late due to getting lost but they helped with directions and waited till we got there. You couldn't get a better doctor or staff.
I had headaches, numbness in hands, and pain inside the bones in my neck where all types of medication could not reach...Dr Watson and his crew were polite and honest...by the end of my neck surgery the pain in the bones of my neck were gone and the headaches were too...the numbness remained...he explained well in detail what he could do and I'm very happy I found him
Did he perform a procedure for you? His success rate is 84%- significantly better than what you'll find with other doctors. And how many medical procedures have YOU pioneered? None? Good for you. Society is better off with lazy @ss people like yourselves sitting back and complaining about things they Goggled rather than contributing to others' lives in a positive way. No medical procedure is perfected the first time ... ever. But you must already know that ... as you sit in your mom's basement berating people online from your garage sale couch.
