Houston SPCA review: Misinformation

A friend of mine passed away about one week ago. She bred and raised exotic cats. The spca picked up all of her animals and notified the media. They misinformed the media, basically slandering my friend, who can no longer defend her reputation. I called them (never got to speak with a "real" human only machines. However I did receive an email which out right lied to me about the condition and the current location of the animals. They also are not properly maintaining the exotic animals proper diet. You don't feed a wild animal dry cat food. they have a special diet, generally whole prey as that is what they eat in the wild.Their are numerous companies that provide the correct diet for the species in question. An incorrect diet will "kill" these cats. I am concerned these cats will not be placed in the correct facilities, that is -if they survive their stay at the spca.
