I was gonna buy a house from Homes Direct Albuquerque and they asked me for $500 to hold the price. We didn't sign any papers for the house. When my financing didn't work out, I tried to talk to them but they didn't answer my calls or emails. I even asked someone else from Homes Direct for help but they said they had to go and never called me back. The money lady Yamila and the sales guy Craig never got in touch with me. I tried a lot of times to fix things but they didn't work. I sent an email asking for my money back but nobody has answered me or given me my $500. I just want my money back, nothing else.

I bought my house from Homes Direct of Albuquerque, LLC and they told me that after I moved in, they would send someone to inspect the house and fix any issues I pointed out. I talked to Mike C, my salesman, and he told me to contact Steve for the inspection. I left several messages for Steve but he never called me back. Eventually, they sent two guys to do some repairs but they didn't finish the job. They said they needed to replace three countertops and didn't know what to do about the chipped cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. There was also a cracked tile in the master bathroom shower. I asked Mike to help me but he blocked my phone number. I have pictures to prove my complaints. I moved in March and they haven't contacted me since. Even the window cleaners found holes in one of the windows. It's been plenty of time for them to fix these issues but they haven't made any effort to do so.

I bought a fancy upgrade package for my crib that had bigger windows, recessed lighting, crown molding, a flat ceiling, and blinds for all the windows. But when my crib was done in March, only 3 out of 11 windows had blinds installed. Mike D from Homes Direct said they'd get us the blinds or pay us back for them. But the contractor they recommended left 3 open trenches for electrical and water lines. I've hit up Homes Direct through Mike D a bunch of times about the blinds and trenches, but they never get back to me with a plan to fix it. I sent Mike an email with pics of the trenches on 29Nov2021, and texted him the next day to make sure he got it. But no response. I paid a contractor $3500 to level my land before the crib was put on it, but the subcontractor Homes Direct hired left a bunch of dirt piles all over my yard, messing up the previous work. The subcontractor said they didn't have the right gear to level it out again. I spent a lot of cash on this project, I shouldn't have to pay more to fill trenches, level my land again, or buy blinds I already paid for.

I been waiting for 7 months for my home loan through homes direct. The first lender they used played the document game for 5 months. Homes direct would tell me they were waiting for the lender to do the paperwork and the lender would tell me they were waiting for paperwork from homes direct. We signed a contract for the Land. Our land purchase agreement date was about to run out so I contacted homes direct and they said we could switch lenders and be closed in three weeks. This conversation took place on May 5th, and the land purchase agreement was due by May 18th. So we switched lenders and did all the paperwork we had to. On the week of June 6th, I contacted homes direct and told them the lender was informing me they still aren't turning in the proper paperwork, and we were ready to back out. Daniel G was handling our loan in the first place, but he quit after my husband was not so nice to him on the phone. Todd, the manager, took over our whole loan in the same week. He told us our house was ready, told us to come and look at it, told us that he had finished everything that Daniel did not, and he sent it in to the mortgage company. As of July 3rd, the mortgage company said that homes direct still had not turned in the correct paperwork. I have reached out to Todd, but he will not answer my phone calls, and he will not call me back. At this point, I want a refund. I want my money back. I can't play these games with homes direct anymore.

I bought a new home from Homes Direct in October . This year, my roof started losing shingles all over the place. I had six roofing contractors come out to fix it, but it keeps happening. In May, a bunch of shingles came off in one area, and rain leaked into a bedroom. The contractors said the shingles were installed wrong and the roof needs to be replaced. The manufacturer's warranty is void because of the bad installation. I've contacted my salesman, Ken S, but he hasn't done anything. He told me to contact my insurance, but they won't cover it because it's not one specific event. It's not fair to have these problems on a new house. Homes Direct hasn't helped at all.
