I bought Arianrhod Maxi dress for cosplay, and its beautiful! The sizing is correct too... Im 5ft 7inches and its perfect, and i got a Medium and fits well... The sleeves are huge and amazing... Of course it came a bit wrinkly as it travelled with Fedex around the world in 6 days... Im pleased with Holy Clothing... I was impressed with Fedex too, until it got to western Canada and they flubbed it up a bit... The dress took about 3 and a half weeks to dispatch from Holy Clothing... as promised, if not slightly earlier... Its not junk, its well made! I think first wash might give off dye, so wash by itself and hang to dry... gentle cycle!

However, if my order contained certain items, it would take 10-12 weeks due to the fact that they were handmade. The response ended with a friendly message thanking me for being a part of the HolyClothing family.

I continued to wait, but as the weeks turned into months, I became increasingly frustrated and upset. I sent out monthly emails to inquire about my order, but the responses were always the same. I felt like I wasn't getting any real information and was left in the dark about the status of my dress.

I reached out to HolyClothing again, but they couldn't even tell me if I would have my dress within the next month. I was frustrated and disappointed. I had to go out and try to find a new dress that would fit the bill, or even worse, make something myself.

Finally, I decided to ask for a refund. I was relieved when I got the refund this morning, but I was also disappointed that I wouldn't be able to wear the dress I had been dreaming of for months.

HolyClothing, you need to take Tauriel off your site until you can get through your six-month backlog. False promises and constant delays are not acceptable.

On a positive note, I will say that the customer service reps were responsive and replied within 1-2 business days. That was a small comfort during this frustrating experience.

Instead, the response was "Orders for the items you purchased take 10-12 weeks. Well worth it!" But it has been 4 MONTHS. And suddenly my items take longer to make?

I am so disappointed at this point. I was so excited for their pieces but it just seems like a scam now. I requested a refund because I have received *nothingfrom them, and of course they denied me and tried to placate me with a $10 gift card after spending HUNDREDS on this order. (Like what the h*ll) Thankfully, my bank is not putting up with it so I am being refunded anyways!

So, buyer beware! They will take your money and expect you to just be okay with never receiving the products you paid for!

But as of December 30, my item apparently shipped on December 24, and to my surprise, it is currently in Dubai! I have learned that although the clothes are machine washable, it is best not to dry them in the machine completely. Instead, you should dry them for around 15 minutes and then pull them out. I have some items that are over three years old, and I'm still wearing them. The only thing I notice is that they have faded slightly, but that's to be expected after wearing them so many times.

The best part about Holyclothing is that you can get Renaissance and Bohemian clothing at affordable prices, and they are made to high standards. You can't find that anywhere else! If you're looking for unique and well-made clothing, then Holyclothing is definitely worth a look.

However, in December of 2015, they made a public announcement on their website and with the media proclaiming that they were turning over a new leaf and would now be running their company, and factory in India, ethically.

Honestly, it was music to my ears. I'm a budding counselor and I've always advocated for responsible and ethical business practices. So I was over the moon to know that HolyClothing was taking the initiative. Then something surprising happened, Graham Kay, the owner of the store, personally offered full refunds to all customers who had previously purchased clothing under the impression that the company was being run ethically.

I was pleasantly stunned when I learned that there was absolutely no time limit for this returns and refund offer. I mean, come on! How can you not take up an offer like this? I was now really excited about making a purchase knowing that I had nothing to lose. However, I was busy finishing up my Master of Science in counseling and also dealing with some health issues. So, it wasn’t until recently that I sent in my return. And boy, did I get a shocker!

HolyClothing has refused to honor their promise. This is despite the fact that I have fully complied will all the rules and requirements stated in the return/refund invitation/offer. I mean, I'm only asking for what they promised, nothing more, nothing less. Mr. Kay has been non-responsive and unapologetic. It’s honestly very disappointing given the announcement they made a few years back.

I have given HolyClothing and Mr. Kay an ultimatum that if I don't get my refund within two days, I'll be filing complaints with the New York and California Departments of Justice. I honestly don't know which state is their legal home. It’s really sad that an online store is doing this, especially when Eddie Bauer - a much bigger store - has been offering lifelong refunds without hesitation.

If I'm being honest, this experience has left me feeling shaken not stirred. It's really disturbing to see this level of dishonesty coming from a company that had publicly pledged to be conscientious before. In fact, I'm pretty sure Mr. Kay himself made the announcement on their website, apologizing for their unethical practices. I've been shopping with them since 2005 and now 7/8ths of my wardrobe is 'Holy Clothing.' On about 6 out of 7 days, I'm wearing something from their collection. I warn you, once you try some of their pieces, you won't be able to stop! I just can't help but get every color available for my favorites like the Catriona maxi dress and the Nicolette maxi skirt.

But the ultimate appeal of Holy Clothing is that it lets you live out your fantasy of being a character in an Arthurian legend or pre-Raphaelite painting while living your daily life. I've been getting compliments left and right in their amazing pieces! Although some of their gowns and capes are a little too costume-like for me to wear on a daily basis, pieces like Catriona, Nicolette, Tesha, and Robin can be worn anywhere!

Kudos to Holy Clothing for delivering remarkable fashion, sizes, and customer service. Long may they continue.

I placed my order on March 14th, it is now July 21st and still nothing, I have reached out to the company 3 times and all 3 times I was told a different delivery date.

TL; DR: I placed an order 4 mo ago worth hundreds of $$ and they have no intention of fulfilling my order and refuse to give me my money back.

So, I had my bridesmaids order some dresses from Holy Clothing and I gotta say, I was pretty stoked about it. The designs were super cute and the company seemed like they were all about doing the right thing. But, it's been like two whole months now and we still haven't gotten our dresses. The only way we can get any kind of update is by messaging them on social media. They haven't sent us any emails or anything to explain what's going on.

When I finally got a response from them, it was just some copy and paste message about a "dye" issue. But, if that's really the problem, why has it happened more than once for the same order? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Honestly, I'm getting pretty frustrated with this whole thing. I wish they would just send us the dresses, even if they're defective, so we could at least have something to wear. My wedding is in a week and I still don't even know if the dresses have shipped yet.

HolyClothing is a website where you can buy clothes that are made in India, New Delhi. I was really excited to receive my order, but when I got it I was surprised how much the delivery fee was. I was really let down by HolyClothing's customer service. I wanted to buy one of the fantastic full length long lace up overdresses that they had on sale. It looked like it would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe! Unfortunately when it arrived, I found that it was too small for me. I tried reaching out to their customer service department to exchange it for something that would fit me better, but they told me that I was out of luck since it was a sale item. I couldn't believe it! I had just thrown my money away.

I don't see how they can justify such a policy. If I'm not happy with my purchase, I should be able to exchange it for something that will work better for me. But HolyClothing just didn't seem to care. I tried to express my frustration with them but they didn't even bother to reply to my messages. It seems like they just don't care about their customers.

I ordered from HolyClothing over 11 weeks ago, and was told that I would receive my items in 5-6 weeks. Sadly, things have not gone as planned. After my first good experience with them, I thought I'd try ordering another dress. But, unfortunately, that didn't go so well. The dress I received was totally different from what I thought I was getting. Like, not even close. I mean, it kinda looked like they just grabbed a random dress and shipped it off to me.

So, I reached out to them and asked if I could return it. They gave me a US address to ship it back to, even though I live in Canada. But, on top of that, they don't cover the shipping costs for returns, even if they messed up the order.

I ended up paying $25 just to ship it back and the day after I sent it back, I got a duty charge for $21! That's a lot of extra money just because HolyClothing didn't send me what I thought I was buying. It's not really fair to the customers to not offer free returns, especially if they send you something that's totally not what you ordered.

Overall, I'm not really sure if I'd order from them again. It seems like a bit of a gamble. If you're willing to take the risk and deal with any extra costs that might come up, then go for it. But, I'm not sure if it's worth it in the end.

All I knew was that this company had terrible customer service. They didn't even have the decency to tell me why my order was so delayed, or when I could expect to receive it. I am so disappointed in the way things turned out with Holyclothing.
