hilton properties review: be my guest certificate

I had received two Be My Guest Certificates due to a bad visit at another Hilton the previous year. The hilton guest assistant told me that I could use them at any Hilton property before july 31, 2014. I booked at Waldorf Astoria in Naples Florida for March 6 to 8, 2014. I told them I had the BMG cert.when I called for the reservation. We we arrived, we were told that the BMG cert. were not valid there, and we would have to pay for the room. I called a Hilton manager, Deadre Farahani, and she said the cert ificates were good only for Hilton hotels or lesser, but not higher hotels. There were no restrictions listed on the certificate. It should have been specific about which hotels it was valid at, and the first guest assistant misinformed me from the beginning. It apparently was not good for any Hilton property. even though it says "any Hilton Hotel Worldwide'
