I asked Hermes Management to fix my zipper and they said they didn't know how much it cost because it had to be sent out. When it came back, the price was higher than what I initially paid for the item. I was highly upset.
They ruined my tie and they refused to take responsibility for it
They ruined my tie and they refused to take responsibility for it. It was a silk tie. They damaged 2 ties but they managed to fix one of them. They told me that since my tie was older, I should have anticipated it getting damaged. They ruined my tie and they refused to provide compensation for a replacement. This situation was handled very poorly. I strongly advise against entrusting your clothing to them.

On or around November 5, 2022 my husband John Doe (the info is under his name) took a two-piece Tahari Dress Suit to Starcrest Cleaners located at 123 Main Street in Anytown, USA to have cleaned. The suit had a faux leather trim so I attached a note stating if they could not clean without damaging trim please return. Upon attempting to clean the jacket, apparently the leather started peeling so Starcrest returned the jacket in a bag stating they could not clean it without damaging it (the damage had already been done). My husband picked up the dress a few days later with the trim peeling and the pin still attached to the dress, but the note warning not to clean if the trim could not be protected was missing. I went to Starcrest and showed them the damage. Owner Jane Smith told me the dress said dry clean and they had done their responsibility. I told her I put a note on the dress warning not to clean if they could not do it without damaging it. She kept the dress to resolve the issue or so I thought, but a week later returned the damaged dress to me. Now I have a two-piece suit that has been damaged and Starcrest does not want to take responsibility. I am very disappointed because my clothes are taken to be cleaned NOT replaced! I would like Starcrest Cleaners to replace my two-piece suit they damaged. I do not plan to patronize them again!
