GreatLife Golf and Fitness is way too expensive. The equipment is old and not taken care of. The staff is super rude and never picks up the phone. It's like they don't care about their customers.

greatlife golf in topeka ks is a pretty good spot to hit some balls and get a workout in. the staff can be a little unfriendly sometimes, but overall it's a decent place to go.

i liked the perks when i was using them but they refused to let me cancel my membership during covid so im paying for a membership i have 0 interest in using.

I had a bad experience with GreatLife Golf and Fitness. They didn't answer the phone before April 1st and wouldn't let me cancel my membership that renews on April 1st. I lost my job and might move away, but they still want me to pay for the whole year. I've been a member for 15 years, but they don't care. The manager, Josh, wouldn't give me his last name and said this is a common problem. He didn't help me at all. They let you spend more money to upgrade, but won't let you downgrade. The owners, Rick and Linda Farrant, are greedy and don't have common sense. I asked Josh to send me the contract for legal review, but he didn't. That's why new fitness centers are opening up. People want to be treated fairly. Criminals!

GreatLife Golf and Fitness is not cool. They took my money even though I couldn't go to the gym because of the stupid covid-19. I want my money back because it's not fair that they took it when I couldn't even use the gym.

And when I tried to cancel my membership, they wouldn't let me because of some contract nonsense. But here's the thing, the pandemic ain't even mentioned in the contract! We couldn't use the membership for over 2 months and still had to pay up. Not cool, man.

I had a bad experience with GreatLife Golf and Fitness. They claimed that golf was open during the statewide mandatory shutdown so they could charge me. This is against the law in most states. They closed more than 90% of their services, so they were actually closed. My family doesn't play golf, so it was useless to us. I want my membership terminated and my money refunded for the last 90 days. I've tried emailing them, but no one has responded. I might have to take legal action soon.

I wanna cancel my membership but they need a form that I don't have. I asked for it a bunch of times but they ain't getting back to me. I even talked to some peeps on the phone and they still ain't giving me the form. One time they told me to check the website but I can't find it there. It shouldn't be this hard to quit. Plus, with all this covid stuff, going to the gym is like playing Russian roulette. We haven't been there since May or June last year.

GreatLife Golf and Fitness has been closed due to the virus. For those of us without a golf membership, they ain't got no plans for us to be reimbursed or compensated. GreatLife ain't planning to reimburse those for the time they've been closed due to the virus. The golf course is open, but we don't have a golf membership. I started the process through email and *** on March 26th. I didn't get no reply. I finally got a hold of someone today, April 29th, and they told me they ain't got no plans to reimburse us for the time they're closed. Also, they told me we can't cancel 'cause our membership renewed on April 1st until March 31st. Our fees are deducted from our checking $*** per month. GreatLife ain't shown no regard to those who may be out of work or can't afford the membership fee. I wanna know if there's anything that can be done. Thank you.

I'm a gym member now. I've been trying to get in touch with them for 3 weeks. I called, emailed, and messaged them, but they're not responding. They closed the gym because of the virus, but they're still taking money from my bank account. I'm really upset that they're ignoring me. I also messaged them on ***, but they blocked me. I don't play golf, so I don't know why they're taking my money. They took $*** from my bank account, and I want it back now. I also want to cancel my membership. This is really bad customer service during a pandemic. I left messages, emails, and my phone number, but they're still ignoring me. They need to fix this right away.

GreatLife Golf and Fitness has been a bit of a letdown lately. In the past six months, us paying customers have been locked out of the gym on more than one occasion. We've reached out to GreatLife, but they keep blaming their internet, technology, or computer software. We get that these things happen, but it's happened too many times. We wake up early to work out and then we can't even get in. Other GreatLife locations don't have this problem. Some even have staff on site to make sure we can get in. We just want the same treatment as other locations. We paid for 24-hour access, so we should be able to get in at any time. It's false advertising if we can't get in as promised. GreatLife needs to stop blaming their IT and hire someone to make sure we can get in. Or they should give us a discount on our membership since we can't use the facility as promised.

Me and my fam have been members of GreatLife Golf and Fitness in Topeka for a hot minute, but we don't use it no more. We went to the *** spot and cancelled our membership, but they wouldn't let us cancel our son's even though we was paying for it from our own checking account. Our boy don't live in town no more and wasn't with us when we tried to cancel. They said he missed the deadline to cancel for the year when he went in to cancel himself. Now they sending my man collection notices. We tried to email them, but the email they gave us don't work no more. They need to fix this ASAP or I'm gonna have to report them to the government or something. They also kicked our son off our membership even though he was under our care at the time.

Great Life kept taking my money even when the governor said no gyms allowed. They took my money for March, April, and May even though I couldn't go to the gym. I emailed them a bunch of times but they never wrote back. I called and talked to a guy named Josh who said he was in charge of answering questions for the owner, Rick ***. Josh didn't help me at all. He said it wasn't Great Life's fault that the virus made the governor close the gym. I said it wasn't my fault either but I was still getting charged for nothing. Josh said he'd tell Mr. but I never heard back. So I went to my bank and stopped the money from coming out. But now they sent me a bill for the rest of the contract. That's not fair because they took my money even when they couldn't give me what I paid for.
