Glasses USA I can TOTALLY RELATE to the many negative reviews of GlassesUSA

I can TOTALLY RELATE to the many negative reviews of GlassesUSA. I have had at least 100 back and forth emails with GlassesUSA since January (on 2 separate orders!), and I will never order from them again. They still owe me $188 for THEIR mistake of sending me the incorrect contact lenses that were clearly written on my daughter's prescription. I would urge you to shop elsewhere - they have, literally, the WORST system in place for contacting them to communicate a problem, and it is the most frustrating situation EVER. They asked me for my daughter's contact lenses prescription three times and I sent it 3 times, and the contacts arrived only to be the WRONG PRESCRIPTION! She opened a left eye box and a right eye box and put on one pair when she noticed they were wrong, and because she opened 2 boxes we cannot return them! (They are ALL INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED!) I have tried ENDLESSLY to speak to someone in charge, but am met with the same answer over and over: not returns on opened boxes! Even when the fault is THEIRS. So I sent the 2 UNOPENED boxes back and have STILL NOT received confirmation or a refund! We have been going back and forth with emails since January and I still have not heard back from a manager or supervisor. Online chats are useless (and comical!) (if it weren't so sad...) and filled with false promises of someone getting back to me. I am at my wit's end as to how to get my $188 back at this point. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Glasses USA Scam Lina

This company is a scam They took my money, $421.40; they stated that the glasses were delivered but I never received them, they only want to issue a $74.00 refund; and to top it off, you can only speak to them via a chat platform, and all they are saying is that they are sorry they are working on it. I placed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Recommendation: This company is a scam I can even place a review on Google. only here.

Glasses USA "Selling," Charging and Stonewalling

I recently made the mistake of ordering frames and high-end lenses from this sham company. After immediately charging my credit card, Glasses USA (an Israeli company that apparently has received investor funding according to Wikipedia) i) failed to inform me promptly that they don't have the frames; ii) ignored my email messages; iii) failed to maintain a functioning "customer service" line (the phone menu doesn't respond to prompts); and iv) refused to refund my credit card. Thus, I filed a credit card chargeback. Thereafter, I procured the identical designer frames with better lenses from a UK company for half the price. "Glasses USA" (גנבים ישראלים) needs to be stopped.

Recommendation: Order elsewhere.

Glasses USA Scam alert

Spent $350 on a glass and waited for over 2 weeks for the shipping. They sent me the wrong size and my glass doesnt' fit me at all. I tried to contact customer care and there is no real person to talk to. So, I sent email and there is no response from them at all. I finally was able to chat with the so called live agent (but it seems a bot) and it says I will receiving an email from them with a shipping label for a return and a store credit. But I never received anything. This company is a SCAM! BEWARE! Don't Buy Anything From Them!

To prove my claim, I'm attaching these 2 screen shot of email and chat.

Recommendation: BEWARE!!!!

Glasses USA No customer Service

i was drawn to use this company by the sale they had going. I ordered my daughter's glasses and paid for the fastest shipping available. First, I got an email to update something on the prescription which I understood. There were no directions on how to get them the update. At this point I attempted to contact the company for some direction. The chat is all automated and the phone sends you in a loop with no option to ever speak to anyone. I responded to the email with the information and it updated. then I get a shipping notice that I did not see for 3 days so I check the tracking just knowing that I would see they were delivered or at least a date to expect them. Instead I get something showing DHL had received the information but nothing else. At this point I try calling them back. This was going on 2 weeks and my daughter had lost her glasses and seriously needs them. Once again absolutely no option to speak with anyone. In an effort to save a few dollars and have the convenience of home delivery I have made my child go without glasses. Never again.

Glasses USA Eye Glasses

We ordered 2 pairs of glasses with a prism on the prescription in July of 2023.

One pair was done correctly with the prism applied.

The second pair was done without any prism.

We returned the incorrect pair and asked them to redo the prescription.

Again when they came back the prescription was done without the prism.

Later when we tried to get a refund they said it was against policy to return a pair of glasses that was already returned once even though it was not our fault at all.

We attempted to chat with a representative twice and we received and e-mail after we begged for an exception to this ridiculous policy because it was not our fault. The lab messed up the prescription twice!

Now we have no glasses and no refund! Thanks a lot GlassesUSA.

Steer clear of this company.

Desired outcome: My family has used Glasses USA for years and we would like a refund for this pair of glasses. If not we will have to discontinue doing business and we will have to tell all our friends and relatives the same as well.

Glasses USA Glasses USA - Possible SCAM

Beware of this company. I ordered glasses and never received them. The tracking number provided never went anywhere, I called and they said they were sending out another shipment. Again, nothing happened. I called to get a refund and I have been waiting for over a month. I believe this might be a scam. I have asked to speak with a manager and they tell me each time I call, no manager is available.

Desired outcome: Either receive the glasses or get a refund so I can order the glasses from a more reputable company.

Glasses USA Didn't even fullfil my order

I purchased $200 Ray-Bans and they didn't ship them to me. I tried contacting their customer support and they just keep ignoring me. I'm honestly still not sure if the site is a scam or if it's due to pure laziness. They sent an email saying there was a concern about my prescription. I sent a copy of the prescription from my optometrist. It's been a few weeks and I still have not heard from them. Stay away from this company. I will post an update if I receive anything from them

Glasses USA Glasses

Their customer service, specifically the returns department is unacceptable! They made my replacement glasses totally wrong and then delayed in responding to my request to make them like the warrantied originals. Nothing but the run around with this company. Unresponsive and they just don't care!

purchase original July 2022, replaced under warranty July 2023 and can't even use the replacement. Spent the past week trying to get them to remake properly!

Desired outcome: Want the glasses made correctly without delay!

Glasses USA Poorly designed glasses and no customer service help

Everyone in this company seems to sound like a broken record and keep telling me that the 14-day return period has passed and that they cannot accept returns on "normal wear and tear" even though I have explained over and over to several representatives and it's not "wear and tear" but rather poor design, these glasses arrived asymmetrical with the nose rest bars being of different lengths, and the right lens hangs about a quarter of an inch lower than the left lens. They have no customer service reps on the phone rather they want you to chat with someone on their website which is very time consuming as a customer. Do yourself a favor and just go shop at a higher-end, more reputable online shop, such as LensCrafters or Warby Parker. In the end, I told them to just keep my money (a whopping $269 for these useless glasses) but they can rest assured they will never have my business again, nor of anybody I know.

Desired outcome: Refund. But I know I am dreaming.

Glasses USA Glass

Several thousand dollars after my early June order l, I have no money (they took it) and no glass, well beyond my June mid June estimated delivery date. Their fraud is the zero contact phone number that has no one to take your call and their bogus chat service that merely parrots the 10 or so items it is programmed to deal with. I never got anywhere so I emailed them and canceled the order, only to get a message that my order was on the way. Today I am told it’s over a week away and I am back where I started. If anyone has shared similar bad experience please advise as I am looking for a class action pool.

Desired outcome: See the company out of business and my treble damages and attorney fees

Glasses USA Did not receive order placed

I placed an order for reading glasses on May 31st, 2023 with GlassesUSA. I then received an email that the glasses order was said to be delivered on delivered on June 9th, 2023. The United States Postal Service electronic mail update system emailed me my mail due for June 9, 2023 and the information does not show the package being delivered on the date that GlassesUSA claims.

I have attempted calling customer service and no personnel is a aula le tonsoeak to.

I attempted via live chat nuts it's a bot that does not offer lost package help.

I attempted via website and also have not received proper help to this lost package.

Desired outcome: I am requesting reimbursement on funds or replacement of my glasses.

Glasses USA Requested a Return Label One Week Ago

I have contacted the site regarding setting up a return twice and now I've been waiting for a return shipping label for 7 days. The only way to reach someone is through chat because you can never be transferred to an actual agent by phone. They only give you 14 days to return glasses. I have been a long time customer and never had an issue before with the company receiving glasses but this is my first return. I probably won't purchase from them again.

Glasses USA They won't send my return shipping label

On May 16th and May 18th I ordered 2 pairs of glasses after I sent my prescription to them. I first received the cheaper pair (85.00) and I could not see out of them. I contacted them via chat and within 2-3 days I received the Shipping label. I following day I received the second pair (215.00) and as I assumed I couldn't see out of them as well.after 7 chats I am still waiting for a return label before the 14 day try at home runs out. This company has been horrible and can not get any questions answered except wait 2-3 business days. So my next step is to dispute any charge and contact the BBB because of their practices. Extremely disappointed

Glasses USA Placed order for RX glasses on 4/23/2023 and have not received order as of today-5/12/2023.

Order # [protected] placed on 4/24/23 for ; used my vision insurance and paid $251.20 with Mastercard. To this day, 5/12/2023, when I check the order status, it still says "in production". I have sent emails, chatted online, called the customer service phone no. numerous times to no avail. I cannot get a live person to talk to.

I must add that I have ordered glasses from this site a couple of times in the past without any issue.

Desired outcome: want my glasses and if there is a production issue, want my credit card credited and insurance notified that I have not used my annual vision benefit.

Glasses USA Insurance Claim

The initial purchase with added insurance and shipping went very smooth and I was happy with the quality of the glasses. Fast forward a year with a mishap that resulted in broken glasses, I contacted them though chat and phone and was told both times someone would contact me. There has been zero return contact and I am without glasses. I am very disappointed with what I thought was a good company. Be careful as the customer service is poor to nonexistent.

Glasses USA Shipping - Scam

DO NOT BUY GLASSES ON THE GLASSES USA WEBSITE IT apparently IS A BIG SCAM

I paid extra for fast shippinf and the deadline expires tomorrow and the product is not even on the carrier.

I'm staying at a friend's house and I'm only staying until Monday. I can't get in touch with anyone on the website, the phone center is automated messages and they don't answer emails. It all looks like a BIG SCAM!

Glasses USA Will not communicate

This company will not respond to any emails or calls and have completely gone dark since I received my glasses with the wrong prescription. I am assuming they wont respond as they want to wait till I am outside the window of returning so that I cannot return them. This is completely immoral and now I am stuck with $300 short and a pair of glasses I cannot wear because they make me sick.

Glasses USA Returned Glasses for exchange or Store Credit

I returned glasses for an exchange in frame color on 4/7/2023 and USPS (tracking # 9202090167924306328215) indicated it was left with an individual at 11:17am on 4/10/2-23 at Optimax Fulfillment on 1750 Central Ave. Roselle,IL [protected]. (Return order#7653232 and original glasses order # [protected]).

For some reason, you on-line info. on your web site says you have not received these returned glasses and can not start the exchange process. Can you let me know where they are or if you have physically received these glasses at the above location? I either want to exchange these Ottoto Silver frame glasses for the Ottoto Gunmetal color or get a store credit. Can you help me get this resolved? This has been going on for more than 3 weeks.

Desired outcome: Either exchange for these Ottoto Silver glasses to the Ottoto Gunmetal frame glasses or a Store Credit so I can order new ones. Thanks!

Glasses USA Ray ban sunglasses

Yes, they sell Ray Ban sunglasses. BUT...its a line that Ray Ban makes that belong in a drugstore for $19.99. They are NOT the Ray Ban's you expect when you order. Try to return and see if you can get someone to speak to you...24/7 customer support that directs you to their website at every option. Once on the website, it directs you to call with any questions or issues.

Never buy "brands" from GLASSES USA--they sell crappy versions at the fully branded/quality pricing.

Glasses USA Ordered eye glases

On March 28th I ordered some eye glasses on line,I submitted my prescription and chose klarna as my method of payment... They sent me the glasses within 10 days and I put them on and the right lens was spot on but the bot the left ,I sent them back now 3 weeks later I've almost paid off klarna and they have not sent me my glasses,I keep calling but there's no way to get a hold of a live person but when you do they just tell you they're going to send you an email this last time they just hung up on me I have very bad vision and can't see without my glasses or contacts My contacts are expiring and now the glass I paid for haven't arrived.. I hope reaching out to you guys helps expedite this process cuz I'm very frustrated

Glasses USA Oakley Glasses

I ordered new glasses and was told it would take 3 days in production and shipped in 7-10 days. It's been over a month and I've recieved no glasses. I did recieved an email that they were shipped, but the tracking number has no information for 10 days after receiving as of today. Please use a local optometry office, or even Walmart... fairly sure I have thrown $400 US in the trash! Learn from my mistake, don't use GlassesUSA.

Desired outcome: Any help would be great, but I'm not optimistic.

Glasses USA Ottoto James Silver

I returned (mailed) my glasses for an exchange on 4/7/23 in frame color, request# 7653232 on my order #1001960 and it appears it was delivered to someone in Roselle, IL. Also, in searching for the status, it stated my glasses were not eligible for a return. Why not? I am confused and it is impossible to talk to someone live. I used the live chat and gave them the phone number on my account and it says it is not valid [protected]). Frustrating to say the least. All I need done is to change the frame and do not believe you need to re-make the lenses. [protected] is my contact number. Please contact me to resolve.

Desired outcome: Exchange the silver frames for the gunmetal frame color and send back to me.

Glasses USA Extremely slow "express" shipping, poor customer service

Extremely slow delivery, poor customer service. It’s been more than two weeks since I ordered my glasses and there’s still no ETA for delivery. They use this incompetent company called OSM worldwide for deliveries and that company is worse than glasses USA. My glasses have been stuck in Grand Prairie Texas which is half an hour from my place for over four days now. their customer service is unreachable by phone or email and their chat service representatives just repeat whatever is on their website like mindless robots. Never purchasing from them again.

Desired outcome: Reach out to the shipping company and provide an ETA, find out where the package is.

my e-mail is [protected]@yahoo.com. I was sent sunglasses without my prescription. I returned the product immediately and asked for 95 dollars I was charged back. To this day this request was not honored. Headed to the Texas AG to see if I can get this money returned. The order was throughout the Postal System received around or about March 28 2023 returned on March 29 2023.

Desired outcome: Return of 95.00 dollars charged to me.
