If you're in the market for some new sounds for your music production, you might have come across Ghosthack.de. I have to say, my experience with this website was not great. While they do offer some good quality sounds, the way they put them together is not very impressive.

One thing that really bothered me was the fact that some of the sounds labeled as "dry" actually had reverb on them. I mean, come on, if it's labeled as dry, it should be dry! This makes it difficult to add your own reverb and customize the sound to your liking. It's a small detail, but it shows a lack of attention to detail on the part of the sound maker.

Another issue I had was with the kicks folder. There were over 100 kicks in there, but almost all of them sounded exactly the same. It's like they just tweaked a small part of the sound and called it a new kick. And to make matters worse, none of them were longer than half a second! This is a big oversight, as longer kicks are often needed in music production. It makes me wonder if they're holding back the good stuff for future packs that they want to sell.

I spent about $60 US on Ghosthack and was disappointed with what I got. I ended up finding much better and more diverse sounds for free online. If you're looking for some good free sounds, I recommend contacting Skin City Records for some links.
