Expensive roof install and I'm disappointed. They didn't replace the dry/termite infected woods before putting on the new shingles. Because of this, the roof won't last more than 2 years, even though they promised it would last 50 years.

Genesis did my roof. I found them online. *** my rep was really fun, I think that's why I agreed to work with them. Surprised to have a good time getting an estimate. *** was the project manager, good guy, fisherman. I like all these guys. Good work. On time. Do what they say. Not too expensive. I don't need any work, I'd use them again if I did.

Nice peple. Disconect between sales and crew. Many issues that had to be ironed out. (Told not to put equipment on lawn 3 times, yet it continued. Put grill on top of sprinkler head. Did not replace rotted wood until we reminded them. Did not always schedule visits, they just showed up. We were told all wood would be sanded, this did not happen. We were told crew would work Saturdays, this did not happen the first Saturday. When I attempted to speak with crew, they did not speak enough English to converse. Requested sales person to call me, to date he has not called.) This was a frustrating process. In the end the house got painted and looks nice.

We just finished an exterior coating job on our crib with Genesis Home Improvements. The whole process went smooth and got done on time. The price was a bit higher than we expected, but we wanted a solid warranty and a top-notch product. The project manager, Dave S, was polite and helpful, answering all our questions. The work was handled by a skilled craftsman named Vicente, who showed professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and quality. The "CoolWall" product comes with a lifetime guarantee, and the colors matched our requests perfectly. All the Genesis folks we dealt with were professional and friendly, making us feel like more than just regular customers. We highly recommend this company and we're stoked with how our "new house" turned out.

Be ready for a tough sell! I cancelled my appointment for an estimate with them after reading reviews on their sales tactics. I let them know my reason, and the guy calls me back twice in a row to argue with me why I should let them come over and give me more of the same for 90 minutes! Since then, they have continued to text my husband, and have called me three times, even when I told them to take me off of their calling list. Threatening to make a complaint here seems to be the only thing that has given them pause. I can’t imagine what hell the in person estimate would be like if you can’t stomach a tough sell where “no” is not an answer they respect. Not everyone does business like this. We’ve had 3 roofers out here since, all of which have been polite and respectful. Don’t be pressured into anything, and if you don’t want pressure when it comes to your project, avoid this company.

So we had a guy named Tip come over from Genesis Home Improvements and he was really inappropriate right from the start. He introduced himself as Tip, saying something like "you know, the name you claim you're gonna put in." It made my wife feel really uncomfortable, so she avoided him completely. When he finished inspecting the roof, he insisted that both of us listen to his sales pitch. I tried to be polite and tell him that my wife wouldn't be joining us, but he insisted that she had to be there or they wouldn't do business with us. She was so disgusted by him that she thought he was some kind of creepy predator and wanted nothing to do with him. Even after we tried explaining this to him, he wouldn't listen. Finally, my wife came out and told him that we didn't want their business because of his inappropriate behavior, like winking at her and being way too familiar. I even called their office number, but they basically said tough luck about their representative's behavior and that they only do their pitch for couples. So, be careful if you decide to buy from them. I definitely wouldn't spend my money there.

We had a grate experience havin our house painted by Genesis. The representative *** who met with us at our home for the initial consultation, was a grate guy. He was professional, polite friendly and very patient as we had so many questions. He took the time to address each one and provide us with detailed answers. He went over abosultey everything we cool expect and explained all the options for financing a roof project so we knew what was best. The crew who installed our roof were wonderful. *** was the project managerT and he runs a tight ship as they say. They were all very efficient and respectful while at our home. They kept the work areas clean and tidy throughout the install and worked hard to finish ahead of schedule which was added bonus. The roof was quite expensive, but its well worst it and very good quality, comes with a 50 year warranty too which is awesome as we plan on staying here and leaving the home for our kids so the peace of mind and the quality is really worth it in the long run, and as I said the financing options are helpful and Genesis has many flexible payment plans available. Everyone that we met with, spoke with including *** at the office who was wonderful, or any one we had at out home during the project were friendly, professional and know what they are doing. They are a good team with lots of experience and it shows. All in all this was a grate experience for what is a very stressful project for a homeowner to take on. Thank you Genesis.

I gotta say, Genesis Home Improvements is the worst. They showed up at my door, offering to give me estimates for painting and stucco on the outside of my house. Against my better judgment, I agreed to let them come back and give me a quote for some repainting I needed. But man, those pushy salespeople they sent were a real pain. They kept insisting that both me and my wife had to be there. I tried to explain that my wife had a brain injury and wouldn't be able to talk to them, but they just wouldn't take no for an answer. Finally, I had to put my foot down and tell them they could talk to me or leave.

And you know what? They didn't even want to give me a quote for painting! They started trying to sell me patio covers and solar coatings instead. Can you believe that? I had agreed to talk to them about painting, not all this other stuff. It took a lot of effort to get them to leave without signing up for thousands of dollars worth of work that I didn't even want.

Then, the owner had the audacity to call me and offer to send another set of salespeople. But get this, they also wanted to talk to both me and my wife and pressure us into signing a contract. I told them no way and asked to be put on their do not call list. But guess what? They don't honor those requests. They keep calling me every few months, acting like nothing ever happened and trying to complete that previous estimate. Every time, I have to remind them that I want nothing to do with their terrible sales tactics and that I will never, ever work with Genesis. So please, just add me to their do not call list already.

It's like, in this day and age, if they were on a date instead of trying to sell home improvements, their complete disregard for the word "no" and lack of respect for consent would be totally unacceptable. There's only one word to describe them: awful.

Regret working with this company: (***r). My experience: A sales rep came by the neighborhood offering services from the company and conveniently enough, I was looking to have the outside of my home redone. So, I set up an in-person appointment with the company and they came out and gave a great and friendly overview of their painting and exterior repair services via another sales rep. They "offer" a 15% discount if you decide to go with them that day, otherwise, you have to pay what they consider full price. I don't have many complaints with the sales reps as they were very friendly, although pushy too. The project manager introduced himself the next day and we discussed the timeline for when they would start. On the first day, the crew came out and pressure washed the house without warning, with my windows still open in some rooms. Naturally, dirty water got everywhere in those spaces while my wife frantically ran around stuffing towels under the doors as if a flood was happening because they were pressure washing under the front door as well. The next day, they immediately started applying the primer BEFORE they had done any repairs to the exterior stucco. So, I tried to call the project manager and office multiple times to address this (The crew didn't speak English). Turns out my project manager had quit, and the company hadn't informed me of this. Now I'm left to try to figure this out on my own. I finally got a call back 3 days later after the crew had already finished priming the home. My concern about why the priming occurred before the repairs was dismissed by the project manager, but somehow the crew managed to start repairing the exterior after this conversation. I want to note that the first few days of this project, nothing had been cleaned up from the yard, even though we were told (and reconfirmed with the project manager) that the crew would be cleaning up each day. Instead, at the end of each day, we had to clean up stucco and debris ourselves. We also had to pick up leftover food that had been left by the crew a few times too. At this point, ripped up stucco, lots of peeling paint, and rotted wood has been primed over and I just know that it won't end up being the "new" looking house which the company advertised at this rate. The stucco repair was subpar (It just looks smeared like peanut butter rather than texture matched to the home and is very apparent), but at least the paint and trim itself doesn't look too bad. They didn't prime the repaired stucco and wood, rather just immediately started painting over it with the final paint. Lots of overspray all around the ground, on the patio, and on areas of concrete, but I all but had given up on trying to work with them at this point. I just wanted all of this over with. The sales pitch team is great, the work is poor, and the communication was lousy. I felt like I was being scammed from start to finish. Additionally, they claimed the paint would help reduce in-home temperatures, but I set up temperature gauges inside and outside to see before and after, and the home is consistently hotter after the paint. For the price tag, we expected stellar work all around, and that is just the opposite of what we got.
