This Red set was given as a Christmas Gift 12/20/2008 and I've had nothing but trouble since, I have had GE out to fix it but that hasn't happened, they state that it spins out just fine but that without cloths in it and they never, ever stick around to see the problem in action. I'm told to fill the tub 1/2 full no matter what, ya-rite - at spin time with that, it moves the washer to the wall because it doesn't even out the clothing. I have sent a letter to GE and some woman named Wendy [protected]@ [protected] has called but she can't shut up long enough to hear what the problem is but already has the solution ready for what she don't know. I am stuck with this piece of crap no matter what. She will get me another washer of differant style since they can not give me the same AND it won't match the dryer PLUS I have to give them money on a pro-rated use. Now my complaints have been since I got this set and they have records of the maintenacne they were called out for but there techs have all said "It's a flaw in thier machine" but the techs don't have the gutts to tell GE that. I would rather put the washer under my semi and end it there than give them any more money for probley the same problems to accure when they should be replaceing it free with a comp set that match. This Wendy Gillon has no bussiness being in her postion with customers, as she stated several times to me, " well, what do you want me to do about it" and I told her - hire on some techs that know how to repair your products. By the end of this conversation which she would not let me get a word in edgewise, I said I will take it over her head and she said you've reached the top already, and as I called her a B*@ch and hung up I relized that this week end I have 2 to 3 thousand people that I will be speaking to and I can speak to about this and will, I will not promote thier products but I will stear people in the right direction for other companies . That's why thier stock is down.
My GEFront-Load model#WCVH68OO JMR and the RED matching dryer is#DCVH68OE JMR and be aware of them and there problems.

Same horrible woman im dealing with!
Besides prior problems with other issues with this stove, the newest is this and I am afraid to use it and now is a safety issue, But according to Wendy Gillon there is no issue and the problem was fixed, However, Her GE TECH came to my home an I saw what he sent as a report and he said this was a bandaid fix and it will happen again with usage and that the part is defective and needs to be redesigned. Wendy who claims she works for the CEO of GE, since I asked for someone above her and said there is NO ONE, she does all the correspondences for Mr Jeffrey Immelt. Somehow I don't believe that, She isn't very nice to the consumer who truly has a DEFECTIVE OVEN! I have had 3 glow bar igniters blow in a few weeks time and the last one I had a flame an sparks flying, GE Authorized TECH came because Wendy wouldn't take what my PSEG repair guy said, So after a new Flame spreader an glow bar was installed, the GE TECH said this was defective and I saw exactly what he typed. he agreed that the part was defective and needs to be redesigned, he sent the email up the ladder as he said.The GE TECH said I should expect a call from GE engineers. Tech said this shouldn't have happened! I got a call from Wendy today dis-banning everything that was said. this is not a safety issue and I am the only one who thinks that. I told her this is only a band aid fix, it needs to be dealt with. She is refusing to contact the tech, and will not escalate this to get this fixed permanently!
