Mark and Bryan are truly knowledgeable investors that keep up with the latest developments and trends in the Chicago housing market. They are quite responsive and always willing to help any questions at any time! Their tips on rehab projects is unbelievable, it really shows how experienced they are in the business. Suggestions like take care of the landscaping as the first step in a renovation as it'll establish a good relationship between you and the neighbors/neighborhood and don't waste money on fencing are just two of myriads of helpful tips they provide. I currently only have one rental and am managing it myself, but I know that I will be using GC Realty to be my property manager on my next one!

I been living in my unit since Feb and the building is infested wit mice. I gotta change my traps at least 3 times a day cuz mice keep getting caught on them. I seen them in the hallway outside my unit. On the front porch everywhere. I reported this problem numerous of time and they say they'll fix it. The exterminator who came out twice said they bad and suggested monthly treatments but monthly ain't good enough. Their contractors half do all work orders and I feel like they don't care as long as they get their rent. I pay $1250/month with no central air and mice plus the rear bedroom don't have a window so it's very stuffy especially when it's really hot outside. I never spoken to the property manager. I always getting connect to his assistant who really ain't any help. I reach out to their director a few time and she was very helpful but my issues remain the same. I feel like I'm paying so much I shouldn't have to live like this.

We signed a lease with GC Realty and Development to start on April 9, 2022. On May 10, 2022, the crib flooded for the first time, leaving water in our lower level. We cleaned it ourselves and reached out to GC to request help for the source of the flood. It took them 3 months to take action on this request, despite many complaints and continuous flooding. The work order is still not complete as of August 19, 2022. In late June, we started noticing a bad smell coming from a closet on the lower level. We found stagnant water containing sewage in a hole in the closet. GC sent a plumber, who just sealed the hole with no further action. As the smell did not go away, we requested another work order for a different plumber to assess the situation. This plumber assessed that sewage was indeed backing up into our home and recommended actions to GC to correct this issue. GC declined the plumbers recommendation and stated the plumber can only drain the stagnant water, no further action. Yesterday, raw sewage began coming up through the concrete on the outside of the home on our property. Despite many phone calls, emails, and an emergency request, GC has yet to respond to any of our claims. They do not speak to anyone in person or over the phone or communicate anything to us. We have a 6-month-old baby living in this home and the lower level of our unit is uninhabitable due to the noxious odor. It is to the point that we have hired a private home inspector to come and evaluate the property. We are paying $2600/mo to live in *** sq ft of space. They have also used our complaints as an excuse to not pay the workers who have been trying to fix these issues what they are due. GC Realty is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and unethical. Working with them has been unbelievably frustrating.
