I am being garnished on a debt of 22 years and I have no proof that the debt is mine. This peoblem surfaced late last year at which time they started taking money from my wages without my knowledge, I called to find out who was collecting this money and I was given the name of Thomas Hocking, I made a phone call complaining that I had no knowledge of this account and I asked for more information of said account, I was told that someone else's name was on the account also but they could not clearly read the other person's name the only name that they could clearly read was mine. After those phones calls were made everything stopped, now this problem has surfaced again but with a different collection agency. I never received any notice or any contact of what was about to happen all I got was a letter from my place of employment and this was after money was taken from my wages. I then contacted Fulton, Friedman & Gullace asking for information of the original creditor such as name and address on 9/19/12 and I received information about Thomas Hocking not information about Comerica Bank showing me that this account is mine. From my understanding I am entitled to this information which can clarify if this is my account, now I fully understand that if this is my debt then I still owe but the method of collection is unlawful under the statue of limitations and I am asking that this action stops. I refused to pay on a debt that they cannot proof is mine and I am asking that all money taken from my wages be returned to me, sooner not later.

Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

Fulton, Friedman and Gulla made an inquiry on my credit report under unspecified, they don't have to disclose why? What is the connection between AA and FFG? If I was sued by Asset Acceptance can FFG do inquiries and why are they doing them. Is this legal?

I was sued by asset acceptance and they won a judgement. But they won because I wasn't served a summons to appear in court. I was sent a document stating that a judgement had been filed against me. I was not served. I went down to the court house to look up case and found that there was a summons however it wasnt signed by me. Someone wrote my name and left a description noted on the summons, short brown hair, 165lbs. But I have long black hair, 105 lbs. Recently I received a notice saying there was a garnishment judgement entered against me. Not only did they not notify me that they were suing me, this account is past the SOL. What can I do?
