The folks at Federal Carrier Compliance are really great! I'm a new company (Meena Transit LLC), and it can get confusing sometimes. I gotta give a big shoutout to *** and *** because they're amazing people. They've helped me out in so many ways, and they explain everything really well. It's nice to know they've got my back. And no matter how many times I bug them, they're always super nice and welcoming, never making me feel like I'm bothering them. I trust them to keep my company legal and make sure I've done everything I need to. I totally recommend these guys for any new trucking company just starting out!

I couldn't have started my hotshotting business without their help! When I started, they made sure to call me first thing at 7am to warn me of literally the hundred of scams and other callers I had to be aware of. They told me to save their number and only answer calls from them and only call them for DOT compliant questions. It saved me so much headache and even more money. My Compliance agent is Named *** and he is so incredible! He is available 6 days a week and if he doesn't answer when I call, he calls me back usually within a matter of minutes. He is so helpful even when I ask him stupid questions or clarify the 10 different answers to my question I read off the internet, he tells me which one is correct and why. *** and his colleagues at FMCSA Compliance have been so important to me starting my business legally and as compliant as possible. Federal Carrier Compliance Registration (FCCR) called me first this Monday after I signed up for my registration. I signed up for my authority a little early without my CDL license yet. However, they were still able to start my account, but we had to wait until I completed my road test and got my license. The person I spoke with was very patient during this time and sent me all the necessary information. Once I finished my road test, I called to inform them, and they promptly initiated the rest of the process. They were also very helpful in answering all my questions. Shortly after, I received a call from another representative to start my interview. Soon after, she arranged my drug and alcohol screening. The next day, I got a call from another person who completed everything with the Clearing House for me. I was very satisfied with the services provided and would highly recommend giving FCCR a chance to help you. Thanks to everyone for your assistance!

Chris called us within minutes of filing for our DOT#. He walked us through everything and had us set up to be in compliance from day one. Any time we have had any issues or questions, we call Chris up and he gets us an answer right away. We have never had any issues with these guys at all. As difficult as dealing with the bureaucracy is, having agents on your team makes a world of difference. They handled business in a very timely manner, I was kept informed throughout the entire process and felt 100% confident that they had my companies best interest in mind. Becoming DOT compliant was much more in depth than I knew and *** made my life easy! I would highly suggest using Federal Carrier/*** if your striking out on your own, it is worth it.

I was contacted by them and was lead to believe they were someone official. After few days of working with them i realized they were not legit. I paid a total of an extra 400.00 but to be honest it was well worth the money. I dont like the fact that i was mislead but if thats the only way to get business w/e i guess a mans gotta eat. After all said and done they did a really good job very professional id use them again and have sent a few ppl i know there contact. I only wrote thus because i seen they had a d- on the score and i wanted to help them. Thanks

I am new to this type of business but let me tell youBradley made a world of difference! He answered all my questions and if he didnt know the answer to them hed find out and call me back within a couple of hours if not minutes! I cant thank him enough for everything he has done for me and how much he has guided me throughout the whole process. *** is a very professional and most of all patient person! He never thought once that my questions were stupid. He is always looking into stuff for me and ensuring I am not getting scammed and that everything looks good so that my business can keep me on running. So let me give you an outline of how amazing my main man Skip J is, first off Skip is family now, we brothers, that's how good this man took care of me and my company. When I started out I was coming out of a bad business relationship with my former company that I invested and partnered in and I was skeptical to say the least b/c I knew very little about what I needed to do in order to get a truck and start making some money. I just knew the industry was good for building generational wealth if done right. I got my DOT and was just gonna get a box truck and drive for a company as an owner/operator. Skip was the first call I got at 6am. I appreciate tenacity and hustle, that's who I am to the core and although I got many calls after that I believe in the universe giving you exactly what you need if you pay attention and Skip was my spinach! Skip explained what it would take to get my authority, interstate, hire drivers, become what I didn't even know was possible. He literally changed my entire life from a conversation that lasted literally a couple hours. By the time I was done, I had a complete trucking company with my own authority, insurance, trucks and money coming in daily. Like I said Skip is my brother, and my friend and I will cherish him and his company for taking better care of me than my own family and friends. Everyone has to make their money but it didn't feel like this was a job for Skip, it feels like we are friends from another lifetime and we are just continuing from there. To me that is what business is about, a fair price or rate and I have no problem paying more for good treatment and honesty and picking up the phone when I call. I am extremely excited about working with Skip and our Compliance team and they have NEVER let me down. Now I can't speak for the rest of the industry b/c there are a lot of dumb dumbs in this business but I can tell you Skip is not one of them! I appreciate you Skip J...you have truly changed my life my brother!

Basically, I was tryin' to get my *** and MC number after fillin' out my application. I was immediately called by Federal Carriers, and they made me think they were part of FMCSA, like they were one and the same. They said I had errors and had to go through them to get 'em corrected. It was very misleadin' and felt like fraud.

7/15 - I applied for *** number and this guy called me up saying he's from Federal Carrier. He promised to handle everything for me. After paying $976.00, I have no idea what's been done or filed. Nobody answers my calls and the email address doesn't work anymore. We didn't even get the safety audit that was supposed to be done. It's a total scam and a bunch of lies. I need my money back right away!

Yesterday I applied for a DOT number on the government website and literally seconds after finishing, I got a phone call. I thought Chris Allen was a government official and he told me I needed all these special things to comply with DOT regulations. But that's not true because I called the Department of Transportation. They charged me $434 and I've been trying to contact them for a refund, but no one is answering. I want this to be resolved and I want my money back because they charged me based on false information.

I registered my freight broker biz with the *** and in less than 24 hrs, this company contacted me at 7:30am. The rep acted like a fed agent, claiming to be from the ***. When I asked if he was a solicitor, he didn't reply. I asked three times, and on the third, he finally said he was a third-party. Then, he insulted me, saying I should quit the biz 'cause I didn't know what I was doing, just 'cause I didn't wanna talk to him. He laughed and teased me 'cause I wouldn't answer his Qs. This company needs to be shut down for false representation, pushy solicitation, and shady marketing.

We wanted to get our own authority for owner operator trucking. They called us, claiming to be Federal Carrier Registration, and said they would assist us with the registration process. While we were on the phone with them, we received an email from someone we were already working with. They warned us that we would receive numerous calls regarding this matter and advised us to only accept information from FMCSA. We immediately told the company to stop everything because we decided not to proceed with them. We promptly contacted our bank to stop the payment, but unfortunately, it had already gone through for $434.00. We have been trying to reach them for a refund, but they keep lying to us and transferring us to different agents. They promised to send us a cancellation notice, but they haven't done so, and now they are ignoring our calls.

We applied for a US DOT number for our truck online thru a government site. As soon as I clicked the order to go thru, the phone rang, and Ethan Schend was on the line verifying the info that I had just entered in on the application. He never said that he was with a compliance company nor did he ask if we were interested in a compliance company to help with any compliance needs that we may have. He told me that it would cost 187.00 per driver which we paid as we thought that he was with the government agency following up on our application and finishing the process. I feel that he misled myself and another employee who was present while this call went on. I asked if we needed this service, and he yes you have to have it which apparently is not true. A total scam.

Today I signed up for a DOT number on the government website and right after I finished, I got a call from a lady named Catlyn. I thought she was from the Federal Motor Carrier *** She seemed pretty legit and told me I needed a Driver Qualification File, which would cost $187.00 per driver. I paid because I thought she was from the government and just following up on my application. She definitely tricked me and even told me to save her number as the only contact for my DOT application. I've been trying to get a refund but no one is answering. I want this sorted out and my money back because I was charged based on false information.

On July 26, I applied online to get my *** number for my transportation biz. Right after I paid FMCSA, I got a call in a jiffy. The guy on the line said he's *** and he's got my file at the Federal Compliance Registration office. He claimed he was in charge of my case and would make sure my paperwork was in order. He said I had to cough up some dough for paperwork to pass a DOT audit. He warned that other companies might call, but I should let 'em know I already had an agent from Federal Carrier Compliance. After he explained what I needed to do to get registered, I shelled out $976 for the paperwork he said was mandatory. I told my wife about the payment and showed her the receipt. She looked it over and told me he wasn't with FMCSA, but some shady company that wants money for filing paperwork. He wasn't assigned to my case! He was just another one of those companies that preys on applicants, just like he did.

After I filed for a DOT# with the Federal Carrier Compliance Registration, we got a voicemail from someone at the registration office about missing info on our application. When I talked to the person, he said he was assigned to our case for processing our DOT application. He asked me questions about our company and said we needed a driver qualification packet that costs $187 per year. He also asked about our driver and said the legal department would contact him for an interview and background check before approving our application. We paid the $187, but then we never heard from him or the so-called "legal" department. When our driver called to ask about it and mentioned our company name, they hung up on him. That's when we realized we had been scammed. I eventually reached the supervisor at the registration office, who promised to refund our money right away. But she never did refund our money and instead charged my credit card.

I'm writing this complaint because I paid for a service I didn't get, and I have the paperwork to prove it. I asked for a refund from the bank, and this company tried to refund $280.00 out of $1,401.00. I told them they did two things wrong that cost $287.00, and even though those two things were done incorrectly, I'm willing to pay for them if I have to. At this point, with all the fraud and lies I've been told, I want all my money back. I even told the manager about someone named *** who called and pretended to be my representative from Federal Motor Carrier ***. He said he would make sure everything goes smoothly and that I would have everything completed within 30 days. But I was charged $1,401.00, and even after asking *** several times on the phone if he worked for the ***, he still pretended to be with Federal Motor Carrier ***. Once I received the receipt, I knew he wasn't with ***. I spoke to his manager, and he assured me that he would make sure everything goes smoothly and told me the truth. He apologized for *** making me believe he was with the ***. I felt a little better and believed they would help me get everything done smoothly. I started calling and leaving messages, but when they responded, everything was always incorrect. So I did my own paperwork myself. At this point, I'm asking for a complete refund. If they have to take the $287.00, that's fine, even though I really feel like after all this, they don't deserve anything! Right now, I'm still out over $1,000.00, and I don't hear from this company unless I reach out to them. It's April 18, 2022, and I haven't received anything else! I emailed them today and told them I'll be filing with ComplaintsBoard.com, Unhappy ***.
