I chose Family Fence since it was recommended by a friend however; at the end my experience was not the best. Scheduled an estimate that took 3 weeks (high demand,good for them) I told the salesman where I wanted the fence, he took the measurements and provided me with a reasonable price. I scheduled the work and was booked within 2 weeks. Today they completed the work, but I noticed the measurement on one side f the house is shorter than I asked for and the drawing they did on the estimate. I called the office and they want to charge me more because THEY made a mistake. I'm now left with uneven fences on each side of the house since I cannot afford the additional expense. Lesson I should have learned a long time ago... not because it's "cheaper" means that is better.

2 months ago we hired (and paid a deposit) a local fence company to install a new fence at our residence. We waited 6 weeks and THOUGHT our new fence was going to be installed on 10/29. The fence contractor called on 10/26 to say he didn't have the materials (pvc) to do our job and he didn't know if or when he would ever get them. "Maybe January", he said! We have a very large dog and live in an area with a lot of wildlife. We needed that fence! A friend heard about our problem and recommended Family Fence Company. We contacted Family Fence, they gave us a reasonable quote and had our fence installed in 10 days! Not only that, but they did an AWESOME job! The installers really cared about doing excellent work and it shows in our beautiful new fence. My only regret is that we didn't call Family Fence FIRST!

My neighbors highly recommended Family Fence Company! We are so very thankful that they did! Family Fence started on a high-note and ended on a high-note! They were very instrumental in helping us through our neighborhood HOA process, which was a challenge. But with their assistance we were able to receive approval for the fence installation. It was a long process, not because of Family Fence, as they were professional, courteous, punctual and followed-up with us. Long story short, we would recommend Family Fence Company of Florida to anyone desiring a fence installation, as it was installed beautifully and professionally. The cost to us was worth every dollar! If more companies took the time to work with customers, like Family Fencing did, there would be a lot of really good customer service reviews. Thank you again!

Our fence project was delayed for a full year because we were waiting on completion of our pool project. However, Family Fence was happy to issue us a new estimate which was in-line with the original estimate allowing for inflation and other factors. Family Fence followed all HOA guidlines and was instrumental in optaining HOA approval. After our agreeded to firm price and down-payment work was completed on the agreed to work day in a matter of hours. The fence is arrow straight and all gates function correctly and smoothly. The fence job sight was left clean and neat with no debris of any kind after the job was completed. The staff of Family Fence, from management,sales,and construction, were all polite and professional.My wife and I would hire Family Fence again if we were to ever require any fence construction again.

had excellent service from Family Fence from my first phone call to completion. During COVID, both I and the representative who arrived on time with great courtesy and professionalism, wore masks and I was presented with my quote and a thorough explanation of it. I had already received two other estimates and consequently chose Family Fence that day. On the day of the install, they came to my door and we reviewed the plan for the day. They asked for my survey and immediately began work. I requested that they ring my doorbell for me to come out to the site for clarification. Every member of the crew was always on task. I had a rotten wooden fence removed and I have a beautiful vinyl fence in its place. My daughter had also used them in St Pete, so that we are two extremely satisfied customers. Done in one day like the said. I would highly recommend Family Fence.

Reliable, Responsible, Polite, Splendid work ethics. They came quickly to give a quote. They communicated with me to let me know the process of submitting the request to my HOA. I was sent copies of all the paperwork that they sent to the HOA. We were waiting for the pool to be at the stage where we could put the fence up, once we were at that stage, we called them, and they came within 2 days to put up the fence. The employee was very polite, made sure we were completely satisfied with the work. They did not leave until we were honestly completely satisfied. We walked by the complete fence and checked to make sure it was leveled and that it was dug in the ground, checked gates and that they were easy for me to open and close. It was great to work with an honest company that is genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction. We even got a call about 2 weeks after the fence was put up to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. WOW you don't see that from another company.

Yesterday, I had an old fence replaced that was inside my property line. Before contracting this company I told them that I wanted the new fence to the property line. They found the pin in the back corner but ran the fence crooked instead of pulling line a from pin to pin. Therefore the back end of the fence is placed correctly but the portion closest to the street is several inches inside the property line. I would like to see if they will fix this error, since the front portion of the fence is well within the property line and looks crooked from the street. Also, since the fence is a PVC fence tongue and groove type there is a 2 inch gap in one of the panels...leaving a nice peep hole in my privacy fence. So far I am not impressed as I told the lead man on the job several time to make sure he used the pins and that it was straight. I also told him that the property line was to be used. At this point I am not happy. Let's see if they will fix it before asking for the remainder of the payment.

After being burned from a fence company that went bankrupt after placing my 50% deposit down for a fence (loosing the $), I went months of being weary about reaching out to other contractors. Months later, Family Fence was referred to me by another contractor that said my job was a little too small for him (which was less than 100 feet) but he highly recommended Family Fence. I called them that day and fortunately they had a quote cancelation that afternoon and were able to come the same day. The gentleman gave me a reasonable priced quote, and said they were scheduling installation out 1 week. This is MUCH faster than other installers, so I pulled the trigger. Sure enough, my install date was scheduled 1 week later. The guys came within 10min of their estimated arrival time and worked very hard until the job was completed ~4 hours later. They cleaned up nicely and went on their way. I definitely recommend this company as they seem to have a good balance between work load and labor force; they won't yank you around like some other contractors...

I am beyond impressed by the results we received from Family Fence. First things first, we had someone come out back in April to give us an estimate. The gentleman who came out was extremely kind and knew his stuff. He informed us of all of our options and provided his opinion when asked. After almost 2 years of waiting, we called back and asked them to give us an updated price. We called, at least, 3 other fencing companies to quote us and their prices were OUTRAGEOUS. The cheapest one was still $1000.00 over Family Fence price. I was hesitant because of that old saying "you get what you pay for". They scheduled us the next week to install the fence. They had 4 guys at our home ON TIME and ready to work. One of them walked around the property with us and verified again what we wanted. In less than 2 hours, our entire fence was installed, they had cleaned up all of their materials and were gone! It has been such an amazing experience working with Family Fence. We have recommended them to many people since and they have all been treated the same - like family! Thank you so much!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND SERVICE! I called to set up an appointment for an estimate. I called 14 different companies only 5 responded one of them being Family Fence Company. Of the five, Family Fence was the most professionally organized by sending a confirmation text and email with attachment for my calendar to remind me of the appointment. I like that! I had a written estimate before the gentleman left with a total price right then. The others that gave estimates took 2 to 3 days to send an email. Two of the other companies said they could not get the tan vinyl that we wanted. We had the estimate done on Thursday made our decision over the weekend the price was the lowest and we liked what we had seen with their company so far so we decided to go with them. I called Monday to advise them we wanted them to install our fence. They were there the NEXT DAY! That's right, Tuesday our fence was installed! The three gentlemen that arrived with the materials were here at 930 a.m. and were gone by 2p.m. My yard was completely clean and the fence was straight and level! I know because I put a level on it. All in all, great Company, great employees and great product!

Review of Family Fence Company of Florida Inc. I just wanted to pass along the experience I had with Family Fence Company of Florida Inc. My wife and I wanted to replace the side and back fence at our residence. My wife advised me that she had read several very good reviews of Family Fence Company of Florida Inc. on the Nextdoor App. I contacted Family Fence Company of Florida Inc. and made an appointment for an estimate. On [protected] Mike Veiga arrived at our residence. Mike was very courteous and professional. He conducted his measurements and promptly gave us a written estimate after explaining the various options of fencing, This estimate was well below the other estimates we received. Mike explained everything to us that we had to do in preparation for the removal of the old wooden fence and the install of the new PVC fence. We decided to go with Mike's estimate and signed the paperwork. To my surprise Mike advised that a crew could be at our residence on 02-14-2022 and complete 183 ft of fence in one day. Mike gave us his cell number and advised to call him directly if we had any problems during installation. On 02-14-2022 Omar and his crew from Family Fence Company of Florida Inc. arrived. Omar along with his crew were professional and courteous. They worked very hard in removing the old fence and installing the new fence. We all know how the roots of Oak Trees are here in Tampa. Omar and his crew did an amazing job with these difficulties. They removed all the debris from the removal and installation of the fence and made sure that we were completely satisfied with the work before they left, I would highly recommend Family Fence Company of Florida Inc. The experience with this company has been horrible. On Saturday we had Cory come to our house and provide us an estimate. After reviewing the fence quote while he was at the home we decided let go for it. We were told that on Saturday that we would get a call when he arrived back at the office since everyone was gone and he even called the GM who was on vacation and was told to call someone else. Today my husband called to confirm the date of install and was told they had absolutely no record of our sale. After several hours my husband called back and asked for our sales person so we could again get an update. Upon a return call about an hour later Cory said the price we signed and agreed to is incorrect. That he gave doesn't know how he came up with our quote but it's wrong and going to be about another $400. We questioned that as we went over the contract while he was at the house before we agreed to it with a fine tooth comb to make sure that he priced us everything we needed. He cannot tell us why it's going to be more. We have since asked to speak directly to the owner of the company and was told three times he would call us back. When we reached out to the sales person for the finally time he said I can not make the owner call you back and my cousin the GM is on vacation so there is no one else to handle this matter. Since this company lack accountability, holding up to signed contracts, customer service, and follow through on there end everyone should second guess contracting with this company. We have requested for a phone call from the owner and have been told that's not going to happen. And for the icing on the cake is when the sales person told us that we should do business elsewhere since as a company they are REFUSING to go based on the agreed contract. I would recommend staying clear of this company!

We had a fence installed with two gates. The gaps on the gates are uneven, and very unsightly. On one of the gates the latches do not line up and it will not close. We mentioned this to the installer and he stated, "that's the way it suppose to be"

Not only did they put in horrible quality fencing but the gate they were suppose to fix they actually broke. They refuse to fix the gate. On November 14th we agreed to pay a $497 deposit and $497 after they completed the work for them to put up 67' of chain link fence and to repair a swinging gate. They put up the fence which was the poorest quality fence we have ever seen. It is very flimsy, thin and cheap. It isn't even close to the quality of all of our other fence already up but then when the worker they sent told me he was done I asked him about the gate that was included in the price and he said they told him nothing about the gate. He called the office and told them that he wasn't told about the gate and that he has nothing to fix it. They told him to use what he had and make it work. (He told me what they said) so that's exactly what he did and he ended up breaking the gate completely. It's a hundred times worse than it was before. It cannot open more than a couple inches, you cannot latch it at all and it's completely unable to be used at this point. We told them that we will not be paying the money that we owe them until they repair the gate. It is the whole reason we even hired them is because they said they could fix it and would've went elsewhere if they were honest when looking at it and said they couldn't. At this point they're saying they won't fix it but will rip out our fence they did put up If we do not pay the remaining balance. It's been a horrible experience. We have a gate we can't even get out of and are now being threatened for our yard to be trespassed and things ripped out of our yard.

Fence installation - failure to complete service, poor customer service, failure to follow up, unsatisfactory completion of contracted job I was assured the installers would be out between 10 to 10:30 am on 10/31. They arrived at 11:15 am. After walking the property to confirm the fence/gate locations, a discussion was held regarding the direction the right gate would open, as a result of the location of the drip pipe for the AC. The installer stated that the gate had to open a certain way so that it would not hit the house when opened, and the drip pipe would not be an issue. After arrival one of the workers knocked my garage/house door, asking to use my bathroom. At NO TIME did either installer adhere to COVID 19 precautions, utilize face masks, maintain distance. The worker was in the bathroom for at least 15/20 minutes; doing god knows what - installing cameras, looking for drugs, shooting up, or what one normally uses a bathroom for. This is not acceptable and made me very uncomfortable. Later in the afternoon after it had rained he again asked to use my bathroom to dry up - with what I have no idea - but I gave him several towels and kept him in the garage - again, very unacceptable and a cause for concern with great discomfort. After the fence install I inspected it. The fence itself was fine with the exception of some post holes that weren't fully filled in. I did not have an issue with the fence itself. I assumed, after I had walked the "final install" to inspect the fence itself, the workers would then tidy up the mess they left; there was no effort to rake the soil from the post holes into at least a semblance of order; there was no effort to pick up anything or return the property to at least some semblance of order. The workers left trash, nails, concrete, everywhere, on both sides of the fence on my neighbors (both sides) properties along with piles of soil where the post holes were dug. I gave the younger worker a soda and snacks - he tossed the soda can onto my neighbors yard and left it there along with a wooden post thrown in my neighbor's yard as well as an electrical extension cord. The workers cut my air conditioner drip pipe and had I not asked what they were going to do to fix it, would have left it without correcting the end which needs a "elbow" type end to stop insects and small creatures crawling up into the pipe causing a blockage. The younger worker acted surprised I asked him to correct the damage. Cutting my A/C pipe was completely unacceptable but to leave a sharded piece of plastic sticking out of the side of my house without fixing the damage is completely unacceptable, exposing me to risk of A/C issues. The worker had no glue for the elbow joint and literally shoved the part onto the pipe, unsecured. I found multiple nails, screws and other items all over my property. both neighbors properties along with concrete and trash. Multiple screws and nails were left in the road where the worker looked for things in his truck. On 9/1, Daniel with FF called re the balance due. I expressed my disappointment, and requested FF come out to my property to clean up the mess. I explained the younger worker's request to access my home and he was surprised stating that no contractors or staff were to enter a clients home. He asked me to send photographs. I sent photographs that night along with a lengthy email. No-one called. I called again on Thursday, 9/3, and spoke with Du'Juan who stated he couldn't locate the email or photos. After agreeing to resend everything, he then emailed stating he found my original email and photos and would get everything to Greg, the GM. Later that day, I received an email stating I was on the schedule for Tuesday 9/8 for the clean-up crew to come by. No one called. 9/8 came and went. No-one showed up. Ironically, on Saturday 9/13, I received a letter from Family Fence with my paid in full bill and a letter thanking me for my business, asking for a great review and referencing a ChickFilA gift card as thanks - no gift card included.
