Engen Petroleum review: Hygiene

I have always held Engen to a very high standard. Your garages are exactly what one needs especially when traveling long distance, you have friendly staff, clean facilities and what I experienced in an Engen Garage in Vryburg North West Saturday 14-10-2023 in the afternoon was completely the opposite of what I am used to when stopping by your garages to fill up and refresh, the ladies toilets were dirty, the bins were full, there were no tissues and there was a very bad smell of used sanitary towels, yet those bathrooms are just next to Nandos inside the filling station, I made a remark to a friend I was traveling with about the mess and one of your employees with name tag Evelyn rudely said these are toilets I cant expect them to smell like a flower shop, she continued to ask why don't we go to cleaner toilets. She was very rude and disrespectful.

I asked to see the manager on duty but was told they are not available.

I am writing this email to alert you of one rude employee who in minutes has completely changed my perspective about your rest stops.

There wasn't even that many people going into the toilets which makes me wonder why they had not been cleaned.

It makes me wonder if this Evelyn lady was even trained on how to interact with people.
