Electro Smart is a electronic unit that is suppose to save money on electricity . I have proof that it does not work. They supply a three month money back guaranty . I paid the full amount over a period of three months. I sent emails to pay my money back but no response. I am a pensioner and can not afford to loose that kind of money and pay more a month on electricity bill. Thanks Erich

I actually want to find out more info about this product as I had a "very forward" and inquisitive sales person trying to sell me one of thes units last night and would not really take no for an answer when I want to tell him that I wanted to research this product a bit more. I take it from the numerous complaints that it is not worth me bothering with it?

All of you guys are pissed at the wrong people, you are the incompetent user of the device it think for you guys its an IO(you can guess what that stand for) error i bought this device and helped me save or a 1000 bucks per month on electricity bills! So please get your facts straight before you want to try and go to Carte Blanche cause i'll guarantee you that i'll help by contacting them and telling them you stories are ###
I am thankfull for all the people that left there comments on the web i also steped into Electro Smart geaser scam i feel i shoud have seen this comming but the sales person was good i realy thought i would be saving money but thanks to all your complaints my eyes are now open to what they are doing .I also think that we should all be doing something to stop these people from robbing all of us from our hard earning money.I gave this sales person a deposit and now i have to struggle to get my money back.Hope we can put a stop to there scam

People, please browse this website as there are lots of people that voiced the same complaints elsewhere on the website. I felt better once I realised I am not alone!
I have also purchased one of these Electrosmart devices in October 2009. If you read the guarantee properly you will see it says they "offer a full moneyback guarantee in the unlikely event that you don't save up to 25% and more on your electricity usage AFTER 90 days" it does not say within 90 days, therefore the way I see it you have to try it for at least 90 days before making a decision. There is no stated time limit for claiming this money back. My account over 6 months has risen by R1000 which I proved to them and they are making excuses that it must not have been set properly, which they did. I would also like to have my complaint heard. By the way after paying R400 a month for 1 year I have only paid off R1000. how does this add up? It will take me 10 years at R400 a month to pay this off therefore I will have paid R48000 for the device? Did I get screwed or what?
I completely agree, electrosmart and CT International has the worst service and the has a rubbish device that does not work. This company should be shut down, they are a buch of thieves.
