I traveled to Nakuru Kenya, in an effort to help out at this orphanage. After speaking with the locals, as well as the children at this "feeding site" location I was enraged to find that the Kenyan coordinator Nicholas Nganga of Nakuru Kenya, and Scott Moir of Lawrence Kansas, had been marketing fake pictures of cute African children to be sponsored. The money from outside of Africa was transferred to Nicholas and the children were only fed while (mzungu) white people, were visiting the site, otherwise the children continued to starve. Long story short, I confronted Nicholas demanded a refund of my money ( which he would not return) and I took him to Kenyan court. Quite a dangerous chapter of my life, especially for a 24 year old female in the backwoods of Africa. The program is still running, and the Kenyan officials cannot do anything about it, because this is one of thousands of fraudulent charities in Kenya. Please Please do your research before you invest in a charity.
