This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

This company called me offering a deal to choose a vacation for 2 to 1000s of locations for only $199 for 7 days/8 nights.

I agreed to buy their voucher and paid $199. I got a letter to go to dreamvacationforyou.com I went to the website and the website said I had to pay a $35 fee to redeem my voucher. I paid the 35 dollars and I got another mail that said to go to choosemyresort.com and pick a vacation.

When I went to the site there were only 82 locations to choose from which none fit my needs. They also wanted an extra $199 for another person and claimed I only paid for 1 person. They lie on the phone about their product and then after you pay they want you to pay more.

I filed a dispute on bbb.org. They said if I return the mailed certificate for choosemyresort back to their address they will refund me. I have emailed and called them many times and they will not return my messages. It has been a year now and they will not return my money.

Complaint: I was sold a vacation certificate that said it was redeemable at one of thousands of resorts worldwide
I got a phone call from a sales representable from vacation getaways. She said I could get a vacation for only $199 that could be redeemed from 1000's of locations all around the world. I bought it and I recieved an email with a vacation certificate from www.dreamvacationforyou.com When I entered my certificate number in that website I found out I had to pay another $35 dollars to redeem my certificate. No one told me about that. I paid the $35 dollars and got a new certificate in the mail that told me to go to www.choosemyresort.com and enter in my certificate code and serial number.

My complaint is why did I have to pay the extra $35 dollars and why do they not have 1000's of resorts to choose from. I counted around 80 total resorts which is less than 10percent of the selection I was told I could choose from. This is a rip off.
Initial Business Response
In order to receive a refund, you will need to mail back the reservation form in unused condition to our company. Once received in unused condition, meaning it cannot be sent to the travel agency already to book reservations, and cannot be written on, then you can receive a refund. Please mail to:
