So I bought a laptop and some insurance from you guys, but I never got my product. Now I want my money back, but your customer service is telling me to contact the Post. But when I do, they say it's your responsibility. What gives, man? I don't care whose fault it is, I just want my money back.

Your website says your first value is "cooperative", but leaving a customer in this situation is anything but cooperative. Honestly, your third value, "Piratesque", seems more accurate to me.

I'm telling you, don't waste your time with digitec. Their insurance is useless and their support is nonexistent. You're better off taking your business elsewhere.

I have always had a great opinion about Digitec, BUT recently I had an issue with trying to return a MacBook that was completely unused but had some small scratches on the top (around 8). In my opinion, this was a valid reason to ask for a refund as I had paid full price for the MacBook, which is an expensive laptop and should be "perfect" for new devices.

To my disappointment, I was informed that I would lose 10% of the purchase price (around 220 CHF) to return it. This was frustrating as the MacBook had not been used by me and was being returned due to someone else using it before (or for any other reason why there were fingerprints on the screen and around 8 small scratches on it). Scratches don't just appear out of nowhere, right?

The man at Digitec told me that it didn't count as a serious reason for return. Okay, fair enough. But when I pay a couple of thousand for a new MacBook Pro, I expect it not to break on the first day. I expect a new item that also looks good, as if it were completely new!

My advice to others is to be careful with returns, even if you haven't used the item but have taken the cellophane wrap off. You will still have to pay 10%, which can be a lot if the laptop costs 2-3 thousand. In my case, I lost 220 CHF.

Personally, I would have used the MacBook if it had been truly new as it should have been. But I returned it because I expected to have a new MacBook, and who knows, maybe after the scratches, new problems would arise in the future? New is new. I think everyone knows what that means.
