I quickly went to Contacts Direct and ordered two boxes of contacts to be shipped express to the nearest Lens Crafters. I was so excited to receive them on time and enjoy my vacation without any worries. However, the day before they were supposed to arrive, I noticed that there was no email confirming the shipment. I was a bit worried and decided to check my account. To my surprise, there was a delay in the shipment. I was so frustrated and angry at this point. I mean, why would they allow me to order the contacts and pay for express shipping when they were out of stock? It just didn't make any sense to me. I decided to call their customer service to find out what was going on. The representative told me that the lenses were out of stock and they had no idea when they would be back in stock. I was so furious at this point. I mean, why wouldn't they at least send me a notification indicating that they were out of stock so that I could order them elsewhere? This ruined half of my vacation and I was so disappointed. I don't think I'll ever be dealing with this company again. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.
