Got my card in the mail for the first time. Downloaded app for “quick and easy convenience”. Input all my information and am told I have already registered. So I go through the steps of trying to recover my username and password (which makes no sense to why I’d need to since I have NEVER registered before other than the one time I attempted). I am then told I haven’t set up my security question because I haven’t done so. So I am basically stonewalled on using this app. No way to contact any support of any kind.
I’m just going to delete the app.

This app is an absolute MESS! since I’ve downloaded it I have NEVER been able to login it tells me either the app is down or an error message saying my password is wrong THEN when I try to reset it I do the alphanumeric thing along with characters and it won’t do ANYTHING just throw the whole app away idk who
Created this but they need to go back to the drawing board this ain’t it sis this is a whole mess and I’m mad about it...it takes less time to call in and check my balance than to login to this crap don’t even waste your time downloading it’ll just tick you off

I agree with everyone else who is (was) having problems with this app. I created my account, logged in (the first time) and it was smooth sailing. However, since that first time I cannot login! The app says my username/password is incorrect. Trust me, I DO KNOW my login credentials. So I went to my computer and logged in just fine (with my current username and password). This app needs to either be fixed or taken off the market. I really don’t like the idea of entering my SSN, Birthdate and other personal info on a device that’s easily hacked! That’s why I used my computer.

I’m not sure what’s been going on with this app lately, but I swear it only works when it wants to! Everytime I go to log into my account lately (I’d say for the past 3-4 months) an Error message pops up for a “Server Error”! I have done everything from restarting my phone to deleting and reinstalling the app and nothing works. On a very rare occasion will it actually allow me to log in. I know people are gonna say well what’s the big deal just log into the website (which obviously I have to do if I want to look at my account) but I just prefer the setup of the app over the website.. so can you please figure out a way to fix this issue?!

Ok found this app in my purchases and tried to make an account
Put in my card number got the continue button then the pop up saying my card isn’t found ?
I saw last app update was 5 months ago and last time I used the app was over a year ago
? why isn’t my card being found
It’s valid I use it to buy groceries so why isn’t this app able to find it ?
Going to give the developer some time to get another update and fix the problem why TX isn’t in the availability
If by 01/01/2023 it’s still not fixed then going to delete it
No since in having an app that’s no good
For now it gets a “1 ⭐️ “ rating if it’s fixed by 2023 then will update my rating if not then bye bye app

I love this app! It is easy to check a quick balance when you need it. Transactions are up to date and easy to cross-check when you need to. My ONLY complaint is using the card. I have recently discovered that the card is not recognized by some grocery terminals like Giant Foods. The card must be entered manually in order to use it and this rather holds up the line. In discussing this with a manager I was told it would be better if the card had the magnetic features it needs for automatic use. Redesigning the card would be helpful but I realize would be costly. My card is so old its even hard to read the numbers! At any rate “I love this app” no matter how it has to be used.

I’ve had iPhones for years and this is by far the WORST app I have ever downloaded. Not only is it slow, but my information has been confirmed time and time again just for the message “input cannot be authenticated” to repeatedly come up. I’ve changed my password and username about a million times trying to get this app to work and even when I change all my info and confirm it about 8 times, I still cannot get into the account. Absolutely horrible programming on this one guys. Work these bugs out before making it even available to download because at this point it is completely unusable. And I’ve noticed that my fellow review writers pretty much all have the same opinion. Worst app ever.

Far better than the previous apps that I’ve had to use to check my snap ebt funds. The only thing that is a constant annoyance to me is that there is no way to use Face ID to log directly into the application. Instead you have to sign in with your username and password each time which is very buggy. So to the developers please get on incorporating that feature ASAP! Except for that one inconvenience this app is a lot better than the others that came before. Easy to navigate, simple, and a straightforward way to see your funds, purchases, and even a way to replace your card if it were to be lost or stolen. I’d give it 4 1/2 stars if I could because of the Face ID issue but I’m forced to give it 5.

Shame on my local Social Services for encouraging us to use this app! Attempted to create an account- they said one already exists despite the fact that I just downloaded it. So I thought maybe it’s a random error so I’ll try logging in with the info I just used to create my account. Well it then locked me out saying too many failed log in attempts- I tried one time. What else really bothers me is that we’re asked to enter our social security number into an app that’s clearly flawed!
DEVELOPERS: When will the app be fixed so we are actually able to use it? Look at the number of low ratings and common issues, it’s a shame! The many user concerns should let you know that you need to fix your product!

I have an MBA and have spent decades working with computers, I was the person staff would turn to when IT wasn’t available...(I now have MD-created ‘devastating’ damage and can’t work...and my work was evaluating medical treatment—just a heads up.)

I tried to create an account tonight and it looked like a ’snap’. When I tried to use it, it said ‘that account already exists’ and wouldn’t let me in. When I tried ‘forgot User ID’ it wouldn’t send this despite accurate input and referred me to the telephonic site, which has zero options for this app, just a promo. I wasted far more time than this was worth trying every possible permutation to access the app, short of using the lost or stolen option, in case that automatically closed my account, since all of my ID info had to be entered first to access the options. It also wouldn’t accept the info I used to create an account. Not worth the aggravation and zip help available.

I created an account. Haven’t been able to access it even once. Says account does not exist. The if I try to create a new account it says sorry an account already exists. So thanks for making my life more of a hassle trying to figure this app out and running me in circles. It tells you to put in your card number to have user id emailed to you. Then asks for all your info AGAIN. And NEVER emails anything. From the beginning my user Id was saved in the login screen. All I needed to enter was my password. Well that didn’t work. So I reset that. Then tried to login with new password. Apparently the new one I just created was incorrect as well. So then I tried resetting id well no need to go through that process AGAIN with no results. Long story short I have NEVER accessed this app even once. Just the login run around over and over again. And I swear if I hear them suggest it one more time when I call to check my balance I’m going to throw my f-ing phone. Bs! Don’t waste your time!

Have tried endlessly to register my EBT Card on ConnectEBT.com. It will not accept my information, it will not accept my Card Number, basically meaning the Card doesn't exist, and it will not let me create a User Name and Password. I have been using this card for awhile now & it works fine. So, why am I not in your System? You need to take care of this! It's affecting too many people..

I downloaded the app and was unable to create an account. I deleted it and downloaded it again. Now when I try to create an account it tells me that an account already exists. I am unable to retrieve my username/ password because the security question in inaccurate. There is no way of contacting the developer or customer service to reset the account. I am going to delete it again and use a different app.

I've went through all the trouble of setting up a new account and it says, you already have an account with this card... Ok we'll I've never made one but ok... So I go to forgot username and it asks for my card number and then it says... Wait for it... Your CARD HAS NEVER BEEN SET UP WITH AN ACCOUNT! Are you kidding me? Do I have an account with my card or not? And how can I get into it? So frustrated!

This is the worst app I’ve ever used in my life! If I could give it zero stars I would! The EBT customer hotline needs to IMMEDIATELY delete this from their automated hotline. You are 100% guaranteed to retrieve your information over the phone in 2 seconds then trying to mess with this app. I even downloaded the Fresh EBT app and it was just as bad. It never actually loads your transactions and balance. It’s in a constant state of loading. Don’t waste your time..

I’ve been trying to use the connect ebt website for years and never able to create an account because even before I had an account I’d be locked out.

Have reset the account. Have called the number. Have reset card info, username, password MULTIPLE times. No improvement. I thought since I have to listen to a whole production about how great the app is every time I call they number they’d have updated and improved the authentication system.

Wrong. Capital-W WRONG.

I downloaded this App for the 1st time today. Never had it before! Entered all my information and user Id and password. Says at the end, something has already been created for this user.
“Hmmm, okay well I’ll try to sign in and see if it worked.”
NOPE! Didn’t work!
I go on signing up and trying to sign in for another 5 minutes or so. I gave up!
I normally don’t write reviews, this is my first time Ever! But this app is complete garbage!

The app (and website) are horrible:
- Card scanner does not work even with excellent lighting and high contrast conditions.
- Account creation is atrocious.
- App does not support pasting information, making it very difficult to use a password manager.
- Password requirements are not modern, they don’t accept Apple’s password suggestions because the hyphen is not a supported character.
- instructions unclear , is the cardholder the name on the card or the eldest child?

This app is so useless I’m surprised Apple has allowed it on their App Store.
