I requested an ANNUAL FREE CREDIT REPORT on myself. I understand now that there was a clause that said in effect if I did not request that charges of $12.95 per month charged to my State Farm Visa Card, that they would charge my account monthly. As resonable man should assume that a "Free Credit Report" means Free.
The MNI Credit Services has made two monthly charges to my SF Visa Credit card of $12.95 each.
I phoned the MNI Company to request cancellation of the charges. After giving them a lot of information, I was cut-off of the phone. I phoned back & gave the same information to 3 other employees, then instead of a phone disconnect, the volume on their phone was reduced to where I could not understand a word the employee said.
What a dasterly way to do business.
I think I will report this to the Kansas Attorney General & to my US Congressman.
