The ever card co came up with a fake check and debited my checking account 49.95 without my permissions. How can they get away with this? I am very upset they have over drew my account, please tell me what to do about this.

I had a charge of $49.95 deducted from my account and also overdraft fees for something I didn't authorize to be taken out of my account. I have no idea what this company is or how they thought they could take my money.

Beware!

everprivatecard tried to collect from my bank 54.95, causing a 27.61 od and the 27.61 nsf in the same transaction. then they did collect 54.95 from my checking account at boone county bank in columbia mo 65203 and i was charged another overdraft fee of 27.61. i want my money back. this caused an extreme mess of my account and i had alot of od and nsf charges on checks that should have been paid. Please reply to me asap about refunding my funds by certified check or draft as this has caused the bank to close my account and it made a complete catastropy of my life. i am totally disabled and i only get 800.00 monthly which is quite a strain. i don't even know how they came about this or who they even are, but i know i have not received any compensation or product, etc. for this fee. please email me and i can prove the transactions if need be.

I have know idea who these thieves are, they took my money out of my account without me applying or giving them permission to do so. They took 49.95 from my checking account. When I called the bank to find out where the charge came from all the could tell me was that it was Everprivate Card Services. The bank gave me this phone number for them [protected]. I have had to close my bank account and I want my money back. The bank even denied my fraud claim, so I am getting an attorney.

I am here to make one point. I have a friend who charged for an unauthorized charge of 49.95 while looking for a payday loan since he disabled and is need of the funds and I have come to find out that this company has numerous complaints about this same instances, which, is more than mere pure coincidence. If the complaints of others on EverPrivateCards is in abduance, then, it follows that the complaints regarding that company are of intentional intentions to scam them, hence, EverPrivateCards is defrauding customers who are in need of a payday loan and is full awareness of their unethical and immoral practices. I will not stop until everyone is returned the money that they have been defrauded of their hard-working dollars where all the complaints are specifically while they were searching for a payday loan as records will indicate, thereby, robbing people who are struggling through their lives just to pay their responsibilities and obligations so they can ensure their survival while be taken advantage of by the EverPrivateCard company.

This company has withdrawn money from our account two months in a row without consent, and after I complained and was told I would get a refund. No refund, and they took another $29.95 out again this month. The toll free number provided offers no option to speak to a representative but directs you to a web site or a different phone number with a 514 area code. There seems little we can do about stopping them from taking this out other than changing our banking information. Very frustrating and expensive!

I did not authorize this company to deduct any money from my bank account when I applied for a payday loan. I had never heard of this company, and was trying to get a payday loan, so I was in no need or had no desire to get some kind of debit card.

They deducted the amount of 54.95 from my account, and when I contacted them and asked for a refund, they did not respond to that. Instead they said I must've pressed the yes butt0n in error. They never stated that they would refund my money.

I was robbed by this company when I applied for a cash advance somehow the snick in a authorization thru usfastcash or cashfast123 to sell my information. Obviously, if I had 54.95 to give this corrupt creeps I would not be getting a payday loan at 700 percent interest. They (EverPrivateCard overdrew my account, my electric bill did not get paid (I got no payday loan) and my 6 children did without. The government needs to step up to the plate and shut this practice down. i contacted the bbb (better business bureau) filed an online complaint-now the company (SecretcashCard-another alias) wants to refund my money. But the BBB has 495 complaints for this same company already and I believe there are many more out there. Any LAWYERS out there want to take on a class action suit?

P.S. u also can look up info about this company at bbb but be warned their phone number(s) is fake!

I am 69 years of age, trying to live on fixed income and have suffered with Parkinson's for 7 years. I am very careful with my monies! I was greatly shocked when I went on line to check my bank account and saw the $49.95 charge on my account from New Dominion Bank! I called the number on their copy of the check and was told it was no longer in service and was given another number to call that turned out to be Wells Fargo. They had no information to help me. They suggested I try looking you up on the internet and see if you could be of any help! Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

I applied for cash advance. I noticed a charge in the amount of 54.95 on my bank account. I never authorized this transaction. I have never heard of it either. I did a google search and saw all this horrible things about that company. The phone number provided to me by my bank was useless. I just wanted a cash advance not the hassle of charges i never authorized. Well needless to say my bank account is in the negative and the nsf fee well lets not get into that. I have yet to hear from a customer service representative. This experience has turned me against them payday loan lenders. I will never make such a mistake as that. anyone know how i can get my refund? I have already done the past suggestions.

To everyone that was scammed by EverPrivateCard: There is hope! I received 2 checks – one for the unauthorized charge and one for my 3 NSF fees… so don’t give up. Email them at contact@everprivatecard.com to request a refund... but contact your state Attorney General’s office in your state anyway and place a complaint. You can simply do this by going to your state's site and fill a complaint out online - it takes just a few minutes. You will then receive an email from whoever gets assigned to your case. I want to thank them for working on mine and I believe it is why I got all of my money back. I found out from them that the checks are being routed to Charlotte, NC to a NewDominion Bank - but then to INDIA! They sent a letter to the NewDominion Bank for full reimbursement to me. EverPrivateCard is getting away with this because they have a yes/no option button that defaults to yes on a pop up offer – but they are applying YOUR bank information from your loan application to this offer. You could be clicking on “No Thanks!” and you are still getting charged. They need to be forced to verify you purchased something and give people a chance to say no!… this is VERY bad business and the only way they will stop is if they get enough complaints about it. The EverPrivate Card owner, Jerry Cline [protected]), can put as many postings out there saying they are refunding people and that people should be more careful…but the bottom line is it IS A SCAM to trick people into buying a product without verifying that money will be taken out of someone’s bank acct! All other purchasing sites have a message that lets you know your total purchase, any details and tells you that your bank will be debited for so much. And it asks for you to submit it to accept the charges… is this so much to ask for? No one wants to go thru this mess they have caused… they should be apologizing and refunding all money to the people they have so wrongly affected - instead they are making blaming us. It took hours to change all of my accts to my new bank number and even found a loan company that would NOT change it before my next payment was due and I am out even more NSF fees when it hits my old acct! And I’m out $80 in checks I bought that are now worthless… so stop thinking that people are so stupid and won’t come back after you. So keep up the complaints…it will only help others out there be safe from the scam! Don't let this go unheard from you and everyone they did this to!

I never signed up for everprivatecard. I denied the offer online however, a few days later $49.95 was debited from my checking account. I tried to get a refund numerous times, but no one responded. This was back in May and I still do not know if I will ever be refunded the money. Everprivatecard has a website that is no longer available. Be aware of this type of fraud. I am still being debited $9.95 each month which is somehow related to this card. I have had to change banking accounts and have had to pay numerous bank fees related to research on this one company. Please be cautious when giving out bank information online.

I receive a letter from my bank, that there was 49.95, trying to be with drawn out of my account. Under check #9999. on 5-24-07. WITH A PHONE # ON A CANCELED CHECK AS [protected]. LUCKY FOR ME THOW MY BANK SENT IT BACK AS NO ACCOUNT! I WILL MAKE SURE THAT THEIR IS NO ACH WITHDRAWS FROM MY ACCOUNT OR AUTOMATIC DEBITS FROM MY ACCOUNT. YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME! I never applied for such a card as this. But i was on a web site for cash advance. That they share your information with a third party, but never did i think that there are such ingnorence, con, people that try to take off of other people. I ALSO AM A SINGLE PARENT OF 2 KIDS. THAT I ONLY HAVE MY SELF TO SUPPORT MY KIDS. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE IN A LOT OF TROUBLE.

There are messages posted here with several different contact points including telephone numbers that are NOT correct. Please read this if you have an issue with EverPrivate Card.

The probability is that you applied for a cash advance loan or credit card and the EverprivateCard advertisement appeared with a Yes / No option. In order to get your checking account information, that Yes block had to checked. That is where the authorization originated.

If you didn’t intentionally check the Yes block and you don’t want the EverPrivate Card, then you will get a refund, assuming the charge did clear your bank.

The best and FASTEST way to request a refund is to simply send an email to contact@everprivatecard.com. Provide your name and mailing address. Emails to that address are processed within 24 hours and result in an email back confirming the refund and showing the original transaction.

Follow these instructions and YOU WILL GET A RESPONSE, calling the posted telephone numbers on this site is a waste of your time and will not result in getting your inquiry processed, they are not the correct company contacts.

I applied for a credit card not a prepaid card they took 49.95 out of my account they tried three times on the third time they got the 49.95 out. I called them on 6/5/07 and asked them why they took money out my account and what this card is about they told me that it was a prepaid debit card that i had to put money on it to use it. I told them that i paid just for a card with nothing on it they said yes and i said i don't want the card and they told me that i would not get a refund i am on disability and i don't have that kind of money i told them. That i only had 50.00 dollars left in my account and they took it all. I have no money for the whole month they hung up on me.

On May 31, 2007: I filled out an application for a credit card so I may start repairing my credit...I was accepted for a Prominent Credit Card..No Problem. However, before I could exit out of the approved application, another application inserted itself, jumped in front of (whatever the terminology is), presented itself with my personal information that I only inserted for the credit card information...Before I could erase this information, NOT ONLY DID THIS FORMAT ACCEPT MY INFORMATION AND DEDUCT MONIES FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT, IT DID IT TWICE (two checks in the amount of $54.95) This made checks in my account not only bounce, but as of this date my bank has temporarily closed/frozen my account... I have received paperwork to remit to the bank verifying forged check charges for this company.. I not only gave the company a few weeks (as per their instructions) to remit both refunds, but, I gave them until today, July 26, 2007 17:52pm (their time) to answer my request. The upside of this is on Monday morning, July 30th, I am going to my bank with a copy of my last request and the paperwork so I can be refunded the monies deducted and further action deemed necessary by my banking institution will be pursued. The only downside is that I've had to explain to a few of my creditors why those few checks bounced. UNLIKE WHAT I'VE READ IN OTHER COMPLAINTS, I'M SLOWLY ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY..I AM ONLY UPSET THAT MY BANK HAS TO PAY FOR A THIEF'S DOING.

I opened a new checking account on Monday of this week. I received a notification from my bank notifying me my account fell below a certain amount. I check my account online and was absolutely shocked a debit had taken place which caused my new account to become overdrawn. . I called the bank immediately to let them know I did not authorize any transactions on the account. I was informed that a company EverCard debited the account in fact they are under investigation. Mind you this is a new account that I have not received a debit card or account disclosures yet; so how did they receive my info? I did not disclose my account numbers to this bogus business. That fact that I just opened the account and fraudulent transactions have taken place is terrible. Who is this company and what should I do to recuperate my funds. I know I speak for everyone when I saw we work to hard for our money for it to be taken by a scammer. And I will proceed to file further complaints $0.04 or $49.95 it’s money that we work for.

The company everprivatecard took 49.95 out my account without calling me or trying to contact me in some kind of way to see whether I wanted to do business with them. They took it upon themselves to withdraw this money out. When I call them I got a voice message directing me to a web site to file my complaint against the company you would think a company would have a customer service department that handle these kinds of complaints coming from the customers. Those scam artist haven't tried to contact me yet.

I am sorry to inform anyone of this. But if you are waiting for a check from everprivatecard of the false check they sent to your checking account, you may want to just forget about it. I to fell a victim to this company scam and managed to get the phone # to the head guy of this company. He sent me a check and also put a stop payment on the same check he sent me. Which I now have to pay my bank the 49.95. But rest assured my justice will prevail. If it takes me how ever long it takes me, I will get some kind of justice and answers. Just is just a lesson taught to me about putting my info out there for it to be taken. I just wanted to let people know of this.

I join the complaint list, for EverPrivateCard, I was low on funds, when i checked my account balance, which was now negative, a check #9999 for 54.95 was/had been debited from my checking. My bank said it was a fee for a online credit card application, they gave the #[protected] and said the company name was EverPrivateCard, I had never heard of this company, nor did i fill out any application with them, nor did i EVER authorize them to debit my account, i know have NSF fees. We need to make a stand and take these scammers out, and put them behind bars!

I applied online for a payday loan application that gets submitted to many companies that might fit your needs. This company had a pop up box to me and I did not fill out anything to have their services (I was not looking for any "card services or card membership" (that would not have done me any good for my payday loan situation, anyway).

I now have a debit on my account of $49.95. Which has now caused an overdraft fee. I go to their website "EverCardServices.com" and the first thing that pops up is a box advising people that when we applied for a payday loan, there was a box to check yes or no and that was an option and that is how they are justifying they can take out $49.95 that will not be refunded and that they can show the computer it was requested on. (Which leads me to believe that there are a lot of unhappy people out there that this has occurred to - can you imagine $49.95 a person that they do not think they need to refund money back to for nothing? If they did this to 10 people that is $490.95 for nothing! - I was not looking for any card services or membership to anything I was looking for a payday loan from one company not anything I would have to make a payment to get a service or something from).

This really upsets me and I am not sure if anyone knows how this money can be forced to be refunded back into my account from that company? This is a real scam to me... and came at a very bad time for me and I think it preys on people in financial situations that certainly don't need these kinds of practices to begin with if they feel it is legit. I am furious and would welcome any recommendations or suggestions from anyone that knows how to get this back or who to report this to that can do something for me.

I have already reported it as fraud to my bank but who knows with what is posted to the EverPrivatecardservices.com website if I would get any help in that direction...

What is this company anyway? What service are they providing me with for my 49.95?!

I did a pay day loan app online Monday, 5-7-07 to United Cash loans. I know when it comes to websites like this you have to read everything, including clicking on the tabs to see the terms of the policy. I did all of this. Well, this morning, checking my account online I notice the 49.95 charge from this company. I did not see anything when filling out any loan app online from this company. I called the # that was printed on the check they fraudulently sent to the bank, the # just gave an answering system. I then did research and came across this website. I was like omg. I did call the # for the guy that owns this bogus company that is doing this wrongful mess. I got it off of one of the threads on this website. The # was actually the jerry guy. He asked me how I got that # and I told him I did alot of research and I got it the same way he got me 49.95... He then told me to email him my address and he will send me a papercheck for the refund. I asked him if the check was bogus as well and explained to him that I have already spoke with FTC and also better business bureau, my attorney, CA Attorney General as well and informed them of the matter. He assured me the check would be drawn on a real bank... I will see. But the # is [protected] and the guy name is Jerry, he owns that crap. Good think I have a good bank that reversed the charges but I still had to end up paying 15.00 for stop payment and reading most of the post, I am going to have to close my acct and open a new one due they go under another name and hit your acct. again for more money. Please everyone read this and contact the consumer identity theft line or website. The more that complain, it will put a stop to these people taking innocent, hard working people $$$.

Not sure of the business location except that it is in the US somewhere (I think Miami but not sure). I ordered the complete set of Little House on the Prairie DVD’s (all region) in November 2006 and was dissatisfied with the product. The DVD’s kept “pausing” in throughout the episodes. I sent an email to the company on 08/12/06 and was promised a replacement set of DVD’s. Since then I have made numerous queries with them only to be told they are currently out of stock. (As I suspect the DVD’s they sent me are pirate copies of the originals, I find this very hard to believe). The DVD’s are obviously not original products as the packaging and labeling on the DVD’s is very simple and not at all professional. They continue to promise me a replacement set of DVD’s but it is now 6 months since I received the original set and am no closer to a resolution. I have tried to use their online chat system and they have now elected to terminate the chat before I can discuss this issue any further.

This complaint is directed towards a company called TVAddicts.TV (also called DVD Avenue). I have not been able to find where they are located, except that I think it is in Canada. On Feb. 10th, I ordered a set of DVDs for "Family Matters" for my grandson. When it finally came a month later, he found one disc to be bad. I sent the set back with a descriptive note requesting a replacement. I also sent an E-Mail explaining the nature of the problem. After waiting another month, I sent an E-Mail requesting an update. The defective set came back with the package marked "Unclaimed" and in worse shape than when I sent it back. All the cases were broken up.20.

They have continually jerked me around with their promises that it will soon. Nothing comes. And they always take ages to return my E-Mails. When I started making threats of requesting a full refund, they say, "Because of the inconvenience we have caused you, if you want to keep the set, we will refund you 20%". I find that totally unacceptable. I tried once already to sent it back and it cost me $10. Why would I send it back again. The run around is getting so ridiculous. What sort of Company is it anyway. I call this a scam.

Can you help me at all? This set cost us $120, plus the $10 to try and send it back. Please let me know what I can do smb. I am desperate.

Mike.

I contacted them about my Muppets DVD boxed set. I bought it at dvddonkey.com. (they go by many different names and they keep changing them)
They charged my card over $100.00. I contacted them through the live chat AFTER trying the 877-7-TV SHOW (joke) and the 877-TV-SERIES. "Marie" answered and here is our entire conversation:

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Marie'
Marie: hi
Marie: how may i help you?
you: Hello?
you: Hi I just read two recent complaints stating that this company did not deliver over $1000 order and that this company is fake What type of information can you provide to me, ie where they are actually located, phone number, etc.
you: I placed an order earlier this month and now I am concerned.
Marie: our contact number is 1-877-tv-show
Marie: we been in this business for more than 4 years now (at this point I was getting concerned due to the grammar here..."we been in this business...? yikes)
Marie: i dont think we're going to be here until now if we dont provide good customer service
you: is there a way you can check on my order
you: i am only checking because my husband is a police officer and he is mad that i did this on line
you: he said there is so much ID fraud
Marie: well we cannot please everybody, maybe our competitor is doing all this stuff
Marie: we just want to continue providing our customers what they need
you: can you check on my order?
you: and i thought the site said the number is 877-tv series
Marie: that's our other number
you: can you tell me about my order please
Marie: what's your transactin id
you: plus 877 tv show doesnt equal enough numbers
you: my husband is getting the print out for my id number
you: believe me i will file charges if this is fraud
you: why did you give me an incomplete phone number?
you: hello?
you: hello?
you: hello? (after waiting several minutes...)
you: Well well well
you: that's fine
you: thank goodness we are so close with officers in the fraud and forgery department
you: i have recorded this entire conversation
you: i want a call back within 24 hours with an date of delivery of my dvd set
you: You can find my order under Aimee AXXXX
you: along with that you will locate my phone number
Chat session has ended.
And I was "hung-up" on basically.
Does anyone know where they are located so we can contact the fraud and forgery dept? Please respond to my comment. This needs to be stopped!

Got ahold of Karen (1 0f the 3 fake customer service reps of Marie, Karen or Jen) and she would not give me any info on where they are located except for Miami, FL (yeah, right).

I filed with the Federal Trade Commission on line, you should too at:

On 4-23-07 this site took 49.95 from my checking acct. About 6 weeks ago, I had identity theft online and this cost me over 1,000.00 in service charges due to the online fraud amounts. were paid and thus caused my checks to be returned legally so I was charged 29.95 per check and 31.00 per ck allowed in TN to the re-deposited cks. I live on less than 400.00 a month, work part-time, no disability yet, MS, lupus ect. Now I check everyday the balance at bank and today I saw the 49.95 charged I called them only to get a recording and then when I finally talked to a human, she hung up on me,the second person was foreign and told me to go to their site and put the ticket # in(I won't get the ticket # for 24 hours) and email them back and a refund would be mailed in 10 working days. I am at my wits end, the man was rude and yelled at me, told me I had to be patient and if they had proof that the order wasn't me they would decide if I got my money. It's a debit card that you load, not even a credit card from what I can make out of the site so I don't even get a product. This is so stressful please someone help me, I'm about to go under and I can't go thru this again.[protected]

In December we orderd two separate orders from this company. They promptly took our money and we never received our orders. We attempted to contact them over and over. Live chat and emails. They always responded that our orders were on backorder and would ship the fallowing week. This went on until almost February and then we requested our money back. They refunded 41.00 out of over $200.00. Is there anyone who knows a way to try to recover our money? Help.

I do not want their card, but I was informed that they would be taking the money from my account anyway.

I did not authorize this company to deduct any money from my bank account. And today they deducted $54.95. The phone number on the check says I can not call from my area. So I have no one to complain to and no way to reach this company. Does anyone out there know how to reach this company?

HELP!
