Sunoco be careful

I made a gas purchase of $10 in cash and $6 off of my debit card.

When I was dispensing the gas, I noticed the price the attendent charged was $2.95/gallon instead of $2.85/gallon.

If you use your debit/credit card, they charge an extra $0.10 per dollar, but $0.10 less if you use cash - the attendent put the tender as ALL CREDIT CARD.

BE CAREFUL WHEN USING CASH AND CREDIT CARD TO PURCHASE FUEL WITHIN THE SAME TRANSACTION! They will charge you the HIGHER amount even though MOST of the purchase was made with cash!

This is actually something that certain chains of gas stations or certain states do. They will list 2 separate prices for both cash and credit, and it's usually due to extra fees associated with credit card usage.

I know it sucks, but this is something you're going to find. I saw it a lot in New York, and it can't really be gotten past.

Sunoco rude and unfair buissness

My son went into this gas station to purchase cigs and used a coupon and later i went in and tried to use a coupon for cigs also and the employee refused to accept my coupon and was very rude. and when i tried to explain he got beligerant and told me to leave. unlucky for him i am unemployed and will be standing in front of his store monday morning holding a sign to let others know how rude and unfair the storeowner and employees are. I have nothing better to do so if he wants to treat people that way i will return the favor. the gas station is a sunoco gas station incircleville ohio on main st. please avoid this place. i cant find a job but yet rude people who cant talk to customers can find a job. GREAT

Corporate has been allegedly sending my grievances against the district manager (Tom), store managers (Rita & Rick), Legal dept. (Micheko) and cashier (Vallerie) since October 2012.
If I am dealing with a copy cat Penn State cover-up situation just let me know.

Sunoco station starts running up cents before you even pump gas. I have a receipt and picture of pump. Street attendent asked what to do about it. Was willing to pay cents reimburse for the transaction but how any customers are they stealing from.

yo me llamo MARVIN SOSA trabajo 12191 sunset hills rd sunoco reston virginia, el motivo de mi queja es que el store manager que se llama BRUCE KELLEY, es un senor que le falta el respeto a los empleados, nos hostiga, nos intimida, nos insulta, y nos dice que nosotros los immigrantes venimos a este pais a quitarle el trabajo a los americanos y yo le dije que no era la manera de un manager de comportarse como el lo hace y me dijo que a el no le importaba que tenia que aguantarme por que estaba en este pais y solo por eso me suspendio una semana de trabajo. que para mi eso tambien es un abuso de parte de el. les pido a la autoridades competentes que hablen con el por que creo que necesita ayuda sicologica. GRACIAS

Sunoco beggar (s)

I wrote to you before about the daily begger a your A-plus Mini Mart at 514 Highland Ave., Pittsburgh, PA. He is out there begging every day! He also begs at Giant Eagle and Citizen's Bank ATM. Do we have to be confronted by a beggar everytime we buy your gasolene? Today there were two (2) beggers! I do not think this present a profession appearance to see not one but two beggars at your gasolene station!

Sunoco rude & disrespectful

I have been a daily customer at this station and everytime I would go in when the manager is there, she is doesnt greet any customers, also, very rude and disrespectful. I have heard many times from her employees that shes the worst person to work for and that she treats her employees like she treats customers. Please I hope we can resolve this major issue. I am at 1146 limekiln pike ambler pa & employ was so drunk I can not belived he was stupid at nightshift & they told me I donot have restroom key so they all stupid at sunoco gas person & all employ ---1 that mean donot go to fill up gas & store

Sunoco unsatisfactory customer service

I regularly go to this gas station with my PriceChopper Fuel AdvantEdge card for fuel savings. On Sunday, January 18th, 2009, I accumulated 50 cents per gallon of savings, and went to the Sunoco on South Rd in Poughkeepsie around 5:45 pm. By following the direction at the pump and swiping my AdvantEdge card first, and my credit card, the pump screen showed savings of 50 cents per gallon. When I started to pump, I noticed a garbage bag covered the pump nozzle. I saw several gas stations in northern NY do the same when the weather is too cold. Without seeing an "out of order" notice around the pump, I used it anyways. I only managed to pump very little gas. It didn't work. No receipt was printed either.

I went inside to question the clerk that he should put a note on the pump to inform customers about the problem, just like other gas stations. The clerk offered no help and blamed me for operating a non-working pump by uncovering the garbage bag. He expected all customers to know that a covered gas nozzle means that it is out of order.

Since I have used my AdvantEdge card, and have pumped a bit of gas, I was told I could not change to another pump and take the advantage of gas savings. Upset as I was, I left the gas station without pumping any more gas. This specially planned gas saving trip ended with no savings. What a day! What is this customer service all about?

no they are no real friendley. for two months in a row they did not add my savings. and they are doing nothing about it. i am a very unhappy custumer and will be shopping at hannafords from now on.

Hi Brandon - if you contact Price Chopper, I am sure they will help you get your discount back. They can check in their system to see if you used your discount on only a few gallons - and see that it was lost. Just visit the Customer Service Center in the store or call the Price Chopper Customer Service Number.

They are very friendly...

Sunoco prices

Bought on 02-05-2009 at 5.15 pm from there a two pack of cigerates on special offer .
The sign says 6.98$.The employee asked me for 8.55$ i paid him that amount without paying attention
I left the store and openned on pack, then i figured out i paid him more than it should be.
I came back to him after like 3 miutes and i told him that the price is 6.98$ and you chareged me extra .He answered me that`s our price if you don`t want it bring it back.I told you over-charged me .He answered me
{ GET THE ### OUT OF HERE}.Then i called 911 for him..the cops told me the sign means nothing but he
rang you up 7.99$ +taxes which is 8.55$ and that is his price...

Sunoco forcing for "tip" after installation

I had to replace rear passenger-side tire that was damaged due to pothole. Upon inspection, a gentleman whom I suspect to be a service manager suggested new tire to replace the damaged one and provided an exact quote of for the tire and installation. I authorized the installation of new tire, and the associate installed Fuzion 245/45/R17 tire to replace the damaged one. After I making of a payment, the associate told me that since he omitted the labor charge for my convenience, I must pay him some “tip”. I had to pay additional $ 10 in cash as I knew he would not let me and my car leave otherwise.

I strongly think this is not a right practice to force the customer to make such contribution after installation and payment, which mean the sale is completed. Not only it is not right, but also I am sure this is illegal as such cash transaction is not traceable, what definitely IRS does not want to see.

The amount is small and I care less about it, but it is really disappointing to see such practice at one of Sunoco service location, especially at the one on the major interstate highway of New Jersey. Such practice must be eliminated immediately, and prevented not to ever happen to any customer.

I would like Marissa fired she was very rude to me because her daughter's fixing to work there and we used to date so she rudely ban me from a store when I've done nothing wrong if she is not fired then I will go to the police take legal action if necessary sue the company

On November 18, 2019 I purchased REGULAR gas and was charged for PREMIUM. I've owned four sedan-style cars and have ALWAYS buy regular. gas. The attendant was very rude, he insisted it's impossible. The first thing I did was google and see that this DOES HAPPEN.
Now my bank account shows I've been charged more than twice what's on the receipt.

Refuses to tale credit cards. Will only take cash. Will not even tske Sunoco credit card. Also not posted on the machine. This is unacceptable. I expect something to be done as very few people travel with cash. Person inside of store was obnoxious and rude. I had cash but needed to put on an expense report. No receipt either so no reimbursement.
