I have had problems since day one moving into this apartment complex. First on the move in I was giving the wrong key to the apartment and when I showed up to move in the carpet cleaning guy was there to clean the carpet. Did a walk thru of the apartment and notice several repairs needed to be done, which should have been done before I moved in. Second within the first month, I received an eviction notice posted on the outside of my door. They claimed they didnt receive my online payment for rent. Which I had proof they debited the money from my bank account. Third durin the winter time had to call the maintence crew out several times to fix the heat, because it would not blow hot air. Spring is just around the corner and the problem is still not fixed. I just bought a space heater. Fourth, there is an outside company that bills you for your water, sewage, trash, common electric, and pest control, by square footage of your apartment. But it fluctuats every month. Fifth, parking is horrible. Visitors have no respect for residents and will take your parking space. Sixth, no use calling the emergency maintenance guys after hours, sometimes they will not return your call. I went two days with electricity and heat when temperatures dropped below freezing. Called the emergency maintenance number and no called back the first night. So I called the office in the morning and they said they would send somebody out to fix the problem. Came home still no electricity or heat. Called the emergency number again and no call back or answer. Called the office and left a message for the property manager to check in the morning. I eventually called GA Power and had them walk me thru on where to located and switch the outside breaker off and on to restore electricity. Property manager called me the next morning and said the maintenance crew didn't have a key to get into my apartment to check out the problem because the key they had somehow broken. Don't waste your money here its too much of a headache.

I live there for 3 years. There were so many red flags I should have known then ; but I did what I read a few others did. Said I go head and STAY It up I can't beat the price for the location. Turned out to be the worst night mare of my life... Pipes broke in the wall flooded my living room and my kitchen area. Fixed it once then it happened again. My bathroom facet broke couldn't tun off water called maintenance they told me someone would be there to fix the problem ; well they never came and let the water run that whole night into the next afternoon. Apartment would never get warm cool air blowing out of the vents which means they need to replace the old heating unit . Those apartments are over 60 years old. It doesn't mean anything if it's under new management . Those old ### building are never going to change you can put band aids on the problem but the problem is still there. I move out after 2 and 11 months I left before it was time to sign another lease . I kept having problem after problem the pipe broke for the third time and I just packed my things and left. They put that last month on my credit history, I figured since you had my deposit and I cleaned the apartment better than it was when I first moved in there. And lived mostly in my bedroom because the pipes kept bursting I shouldn't have to pay you anything. I called First Billing Utilities to shut off my utilities but they told me that they could shut them off . The complex would have to call to tell them to turn them off. How bogus is that? So they would turn them off I owed 78.00 and now it's 256.00 . This company is owned by the Connor Group. It used to be called Heartland then changed the name to First Billing. So they double bill you because they can get away with it. Common electric you pay for the lights in the parking lot it saves them money so they just bill you it's one less thing they have to pay. And the maintenance lady Boo has the nicest apartment in the complex .. Maintenance uses all the supplies to fix there own apartments that why they can't fix the residents. Maintenance lady Boo lives in the building diagonally across the trash compactor .. I watched her install a new air- conditioning unit. one of the energy efficient units why the residents have the older units. Go figure. I moved out and this place is still hunting me... DO NOT RENT RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE THERE ARE OTHER APARTMENTS ACROSS THE BRIDGE OR UP BY HOME DEPOT. DO NOT RENT THERE. YOURS TRULY LISA QUILL YOU HAVE BE WARNED..

I def agree with hall complaints. The new management is horrible! They aren't better than the old management. RIP OFF! They re too worried about renovating the empty apartments rather than taking care of the tenants that pay their rent on time every month. I had a huge leak from a neighboring apartment a few months ago and the padding and the carpet has still not been replaced. The air conditioner unit has been a nightmare in the summer and the heating issue in the winter was worse! The pipe was bust and have had a leak in my kids room for over 3 days. The leasing office is horrible to deal with and they neverrrrrrrrrrr get the requests right. I have been here over a year and I have never had an issue with roaches. Then once they renovated the next door apartment that's all I see. I have been trying to get on their pest control list for over 3 weeks and every time I call to see if the pest control people came they say I was not on the list. I didn't mention that I pay for that service every month. Then the water takes over 15 min to get hot. Can you imagine every time you want to take a show2er or wash dishes, you have to wait for water to get hot that long? No wonder the first billing bill is 200 dollars every month. This place is ridiculous! I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL MY LEASE IS UP!

DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF! I have lived at this property in the past, and it was an OKAY experience (a couple of retaining walls actually collapsed during my tenure there and were STILL not repaired when I moved out a few months later), but for the location/cost I felt I could work with it. Years later, when trying to reapply for an apartment there, I figured that things would be even better since I was informed that new management had taken over and I noticed some "improvements" (new paint on buildings, and that collapsed retainer wall had been repaired - if there were other things done, they weren't noticeable - I went on two tours, neither of which included amenities for some reason).

The person who we dealt with was really nice, but NOT ABOUT HER BUSINESS AT ALL. We had to make SEVERAL calls to follow up on the application process, and NONE WERE EVER RETURNED. The same for emails. Our only recourse was to call and call and call again until we FINALLY would catch her on the phone. When referencing emails that were sent, the answer was more often than not "oh, we never got that... or.. we're having problems with our emails, can you please resend...?" I could go on and on, but that would make this rating too long for most - the point is that if the customer service is THIS BAD for people who have not yet signed a lease, can you imagine what it will be like once you're officially LOCKED IN? I did escalate my concerns to management, who was just outright unpleasant - never acknowledged/addressed any of my concerns, made if VERY CLEAR that she didn't want or necessarily need my business, and had no care for how she or her representation of the company were perceived. I told her that I'd actually referred someone in the past to the community and was really disappointed in how this situation was being handled, and when I asked her to address concerns that I'd had regarding the terrible ratings that I'd read online her response was "if you know someone who live here, ask them!" So I'm left, unfortunately to draw my own conclusion, which is that there may be some real validity to at least some of these complaints.

Needless to say, after much frustration and dragging this process out for months, we made the decision to pursue another, more pricey, option - and I must admit that it was money WELL SPENT! I tried to endure as much as possible in the interest of saving a few bucks, but in the end it just wasn't worth it.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I work REALLY hard for my money, and I REFUSE to force it down anyone's throat - especially if they are treating me like crap out the gate.

I would advise anyone considering renting from this place to run - AND FAST!

It's a shame how many potential GREAT renters this community loses for something that can be so easily addressed - such as poor treatment by staff!
