North American Award Center has been mailing my grandmother very legitimate looking mailings suggesting that she will receive prize money after the completion of puzzles of varying difficulty. The company has requested $9 - $40 with each mailing. Thank goodness for those of you who previously detailed and exposed this SCAM. We are grateful and hope that our complaint submission helps other unsuspecting people.

this national American center just called me 3 times tonight, thank you for making this response because if you didn't whose know. they kept saying it was not a scam and that it was cause I pay utilities but guess what, i don't pay utilities and that will give me 7 million dollars and a new car. in the background, it was so very bad and their boss was benjamin bush, and benjamin bush is someone from a movie. it was a very detailed scam. do these people know no bounds using our post office to create scams.

I agree and how or why knowing its fraud, does the U.S. post office take this fraudulent companies business and send it to hundreds of residents all over the world? I mean hello! Even the local news should warn people of this specific illegitimate business called the NAAC? This isn't the first time they have sent the same gimmick! I have a crazy idea how to go about catching the crooks, yeah their is probably more than one, but go to the post office that's right near the address and mail yourself in a box big enough that you could stand an hour or two in when (you) arrive! bam! Take em down! Its obvious we're alone in this here scam deal

North Kansas City Police should be ashamed of themselves for letting this SCAM OUTFIT operate for this length of time, unless of course THEY ARE RECEIVING A KICK-BACK?
What Say You 5-0?
Well after 44 years, theirs a pretty good chance they'll need another $9.00 for the next 44 years? (stamps etc.?)

Ever wonder how these Scam Artist continually get away with this? A GOOD PLACE to start may be with your Attorney General in your state. Don't bother with any local Law Enforcement (i use this term loosely) agency, because there most/absolutely likely paid under the table to look the other way! Good Luck Everyone, AND you people from the area (North Kansas City) have the power to bring these [censor]-Bags Down! USE YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE ONLY!

7/29/2017 - Received a letter from North American Award Center notifying me of potential cash award winning of $21, 000.00 all I have to do is solve the puzzle and send it back along with $ 9.00, a discounted price saving me $3. I can pay cash, check, or money order. Sounds good and the document looks official, but the small print says that future entries will contain a more difficult level of puzzles to solve with the three required level costing me a total of $42.
This is a contest of skill according to the information provided and ends on January of 2019. It is only 2017 now. People will eventually forget that they have entered and paid for this contest. Many will probably just shrugged it off because of the amount involved is not that much and not worth the hassles. I don't know how they can continue to operate their business in this manner if they are a scam without the government stepping in. My guess is that they do try to abide by the rules as stated and actually give out cash winnings to certain individuals. A list of previous winners can even be obtained by requesting it and calling their Customer Service at [protected]. It further states that information gathered from participants are also shared or probably sold to other companies whose products/services might be of interest to each participant.

They also provide Refund to customers following their guidelines as stated in their pamphlet. So my conclusion is this: Though it may sounds like a scam, I believe that this company is legitimate and operates under rules and guidelines set by our government otherwise, they would have been closed out and banned long ago.
So the choice to participate is totally up to you, but just remember that this is a contest involving skills and only those meeting the requirements progress to the next level.

I, too, recently received one of these North American Award Center gimmicks! What I want to know is, if EVERYONE knows or has discovered this company is a scam, why is it they are allowed to continue with their deceptive practices taking advantage of senior citizens and others less informed about how to identify these scam artists?

During the past week, I received three letters: American Sweepstakes Publishers, International Award Payment Center and Audit Bureau of North America Award Center. One claimed that there was one million dollars reserved in my account, and the other two were very carefully worded, noting that I have not yet won, but needed to solve some very simple puzzles to qualify. Puzzles that could be solved by a normal 10 year old. The common theme of the three letters is that they were all sent from Kansas City, and all required that you send $9.00 or $12.00 processing fee. Assuming that 200, 000 requests were posted, which is quite easy with a computer and printer, and only half replied, the $9.00 scam could yield $900, 000.00. With present technology it is easy to target any slice of the population, and it seems to me that the elderly where I belong at 89 is easy prey. Be careful.

I have received this letter and they keep on coming on the mail. Asking for money again and again. Calculate if they send 1, 000, 000 letter and received back each $9... Those thieves are the ones getting to be millionaires. Do not fall into the scam. The nerve to do this. Unfortunately a lot of elderly citizens fall in the scam. Watch out for these fake corporations made up of people who have no morals and steal from others as a way of living. Be aware and protect your money, your finances, your parents, the elderly in your life and yourself.

I Also received these letters the first one was last week, I thought to myself why do I have to send money to enter theres no shipping and handling fees so what am I paying for... so I still went and bought a postage stamp and came home today an another letter came so I looked them up and saw all your comments and was glad I didnt send 9.00$ or 18.00$ for two entries I figured you send to enough people and they all pay a little fee at 9.00$ a pop and say you send to 1 million people and they payed thTs 9 million$ these scammers got to be rich cause they had me bought to pay, o well god is watching.

With Publishers Clearing House the only time you send any money is when you receive something that YOU ordered. I have actually gotten some pretty good stuff from Publisher`s Clearing House. This North American Awards Center? I sent them the nine dollars that they requested and got a second letter from them . Not again. Fool me once? Shame on you. Fool me twice? Shame on me.

I received one of those documents that declared me a winner of $21, 000.00 and all I had to do was solve a puzzle and send in $9.00. I knew that had to be a scam. Anytime that you have to pay to claim your prize is not good. My daughter was 9 months and I received a notification of winning a sewing machine. I was instructed to send a small amount and I complied, the sewing machine has not arrived yet. My daughter is 44 years old as of today.

I received in the mail a prize award stating that if I send in $9.00 now saving $3.00 I would be entered in a sweepstakes to win $21, 000.00. Well I thought not much of an investment so I got a Money Order for $9.00 and mailed it in. Well, 1 week later I get another letter saying that if I mail in another $9.00 saving $3.00 I will be entered in another sweepstakes telling me to do this simple puzzle and mail in the answer and the $9.00. Well this time I got skeptical and I looked this company up on Complaints Board and discovered that this company is running a scam. I wish I had done it prior to mailing my 1st $9.00. Doggone it they got me. Watch out for sweepstakes entry coming the mail. Always verify them through this web site. Scam artists. It's crazy

I have been receiving the exact same stuff, I paid $5 once, but I realized it was a scam because now I'm getting these letters from several different scam rip-offs asking for $5 or $9, and promising various large amounts, $26, 000 etc. etc. BEWARE!
Does anyone know how to get off these lists? If you do please let others know. This is a waste of time and paper!
