My Perfect Resume - money has been taken from my bank account without my knowledge

I used this site to revise my resume, I was promted to pay 2.95 for the service which was rendered to me. I noticed on August 20th that 34.95 was taken from my checking account without my knowledge, I sent in a written complaint to my bank and ask them to dispute this transaction. I was told by my bank that the payment was pending and they couldn't anything...

My Perfect Resume dishonest pricing

Same complain as most everyone has about the website. Advertises "Free-Resume" but not up front about the cost. I would not mind the small payment for the resume I made but not advertising the price beforehand is not good business practice. I have a feeling the only money this company makes is from the one-time customer who will never use this website again because of the pricing practices. I will never give my money to this company again. I hope MyPerfectResume and LiveCareer go out of business.

This website is skimming my credit card this is fraud

I used their service and had no issues. I do agree they should not advertise as a free service but I did not get any unauthorized charges on my bank statement. What would be good is that if you decide to subscribe to their service, that the intial intro fee they charge you be credited toward the first months fee.

My Perfect Resume company

myperfectresume.com should be renamed myperfectripoff.com, as this would better describe their core business principles .These insects describe the service as free and after input of all your resume details tell you that a payment of $2.95 is required to save a crappy resume to your computer . Once they have your bank details they start to drain your account month by month .
These people are scamming dogs of the highest order and should be shut down and thrown in jail .livecareer*.com and myperfectresume.com are a scam, fraud, ripoff or whatever else ypu want to call them . The service they provide is not even worth $2.95, and they prey on people who dont check their bank statements . If you are scammed by these low lifes, make sure you contact your bank for a refund and report them as a fraud .

Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out creating a resume and cover letter resume before deciding to purchase. The ability to print, email, or download your resume are only listed as a feature of the paid subscription and are not listed as a feature of the free trial. We also take great care to inform our subscribers that the subscription is auto-renewing. The subscription that you paid for $2.95 has a recurring billing feature and you can cancel at any time. Underneath the description of the subscription in bullet form, as well as in the confirmation email you receive once you subscribe. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings!

Doghunter, we take pride in providing effective and valuable career, resume and cover letter assistance to hundreds of thousands of people. Because the job market can be tough these days, many of our customers use our site for more than just a month, realizing that a customized resume and cover letter for each position for which they are applying increases their odds that they will become employed.

My Perfect Resume it is a fraud

I do not understand the original complaint... What do you mean by it is a fraud? I just used the service and I cancelled after I built a resume. I can not attest yet to whether it is a fraud. I did not appreciate that the website was not up front about its pricing. You spend time building a "free" resume and have to pay 3. 95 to use it or download it they should be upfront about that. I do not think people will mind paying 3. 95 to get help writing a resume. What I am most disappointed about is that when you agree to pay the 3. 95, the receipt lets you know that you will automatically be billed 34. 00 at the end of 7 days. It does not state any of this "automatic billing" info when you agree to pay the 3. 95. It just says 3. 95 for 7 - day full access. It also give you the option to purchase at a monthly fee. I cancelled my subscription within 15 hours of using the service. I will see if myperfectresume.com continues to bill after 7 days has passed. I hope that they are honorable and reputable enough to not continue to bill after a cancellation of scam money out of an account any other way. Time (7 days) will tell.

I bought the 14 day trial for 2.95 then immediately after wouldnt let me on the website to do anything under the cause of server error and applicatin error. i cannot even get on the website. Total scam and have to change my credit card number because they cant be trusted. DONT USE THIS WEBSITE. FRAUDS.

I paid about 3 dollars to get a pdf copy of my resume. Two weeks later I got charged 34.xx dollars for a subscription i never signed up for! I emailed their cs and they offered to refund only 17.xx of 34.xx that they charged my card for. Unreal!

In April I paid to do a resume just once, and I canceled the subscription but in October and November they charged me $34.95, it's unfair! I trusted you once to prepare my resume and it is unfair that you steal the data to commit fraud! I demand my money back!

I purchased a resume from this company in January of this year. I was not made aware that there would be a monthly charge of $25. If there is a monthly fee it should be stated clearly on the sign up page. It was not. I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if this matter is not resolved.

Same complaint as many other people, I paid for a cover letter, not agreeing to pay for anything else and was charged $34.95 2 weeks later. I emailed customer service and hope this gets resolved. I would never have agreed to pay for this price for just wanting a cover letter.

I ordered my resume for an initial $2.95, two weeks later I was chardged $34.95., when i specifically only approved a one time charge of $2,95

Total scam no where in my billing details does it say what the monthly fees are.

No where could I find the monthly fee to be billed after the initial $2.95, two weeks later I was pulled $34.95 and 4 weeks later another $34.95. In 6 weeks almost $75.

Total scam no where in my billing details does it say what the monthly fees are.

Beware. I am wondering if I should cancel my credit card as I suspect this will come out again.

Stupid scam of a company that should be barred from practicing business online. Free my behind you think you are only charged for using the template and then 14 days later a charge of 27.00 This need to be brought up to BBB and ATTY GEN FCC whomever can get this taken off the web so no one else falls victim to their hustle.

I was under the impression that I paid for my downloaded resume for $2.95. Which did come out nicely, I will add. I downloaded a Microsoft Word version of it so I can make changes later as needed.

Today I noticed a $23.95 charge from them on my bank account! I did an online chat and found out the $2.95 was for a 2 week trial period. Apparently, seeing some reviews, I'm not the only one who did not catch this. The rep assured me she'd help me with the cancelation and refund. Then after a few attempts to get me to take a better deal, to which I declined because I am not in good shape financially, she canceled my account and then said they can only refund me 50%! Of course they have reviews disabled on Facebook, how convenient. But I will post this on every site like this one.

I canceled my subscription and 7 months later they want to charge my account again. When you try to reach out to them about it, they can’t seem to locate your account, email or last 4 digits on your card. Do not give this company your card number. Stay away from them.
